About: Booking Note: To ensure the absolute safety and comfort of your pets, a Meet & Greet is strictly required for all first-time clients before a booking can be confirmed. To allow time for this, I require at least 7 days of advanced notice for all housesitting and drop-in requests. Thank you for prioritizing your pet's safety! I’m on a massive mission over the coming months! I’m working every extra hour I can to fund a dream trip to explore the UK. To get there, I’m bringing my 20+ years of pet care experience to your front door.I’ve spent my life caring for cats and dogs, including high-energy breeds like Huskies and Labrador Retrievers. I know that while I’m planning my upcoming travels, your absolute priority is your pet’s safety and routine. I specialize in keeping pets calm, exercised, and consistent while you’re away. By booking with me, you aren't just getting a sitter with decades of hands-on experience—you’re helping me reach a lifelong travel goal! Because I work gig-based security and freelance jobs, I have a unique kind of flexibility that most 9-to-5ers don't! I meticulously plan my schedule in advance, which means when I commit to your pet, they have my undivided attention. I’m not rushing off to an office; I’m there because I want to be. I’m organized, reliable, and dedicated to keeping your pet’s routine consistent—all while I hustle toward my goal of seeing the Sugababes in Wales this July! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow feeding instructions carefully, make sure water is always fresh, and handle litter box or potty breaks consistently. I also spend time giving attention and comfort based on each pet’s personality—whether that’s playtime, walks, or simply being nearby so they feel safe. I always respect the client’s home and keep things clean and organized.

“Abby was great! She responded right away and was on time. She was great with both of my dogs and Carl really seemed to enjoy going for a walk with her. I will definitely use her in the future if needed!”

About: My wife and I both pet sit for various different families in our surrounding area. We also have three fur babies of our own and are looking to expand our customer base. We are able to integrate our pet sitting into our everyday schedule. We are available through weekends and holidays with advance notice. Get in touch and we can surely make it work. We care for our pets with daily walks and playtime. We ensure that all their diet and medical needs are met daily. We also make ourselves available overnight if necessary. Anxious pets require more attention and we are open to more involved sittings.
“Brandi has been great with my fur baby! She keeps good contact with me and updates me every visit with pictures and info about her time with my dog. I really love her picture updates; since I am gone all day it gives me peace of mind seeing his picture knowing he is in good and caring hands. She also gives my dog toys and treats which he loves and I appreciate.”

About: I have cared for a dog since I was a child and always have had pets (dogs, Guinea pigs, frogs, fish, hamsters, cats, etc). I have done a lot of pet sitting and have had experience caring for a lot of animals with a lot of different personalities. I have also spent time volunteering with SPCA and Underdog in Moab. I am a park ranger and work, but have plenty of free time and would be happy to spend time caring for animals. I rarely work late into the evening. I can work with owners on the best care their pet needs. I am happy to provide care for an animal wherever they are most comfortable and do not mind commuting to their home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in Eckert. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Eckert after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.
Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
