About: I take care of your animals/ houses like there were my own. I am responsible and respectful towards others. Animals love me because I treat them like my kids. I work on a ranch helping feeding horses and putting up hay for the winter I am available for any shift. I would love to take care of animals all day. Fitting into my schedule works great. I really enjoy company of animals Watching animals out of there own home is less stressful for the animals but I am set up to take in animals with a fenced in small back yard.

About: Hello! I am an easy going animal lover, local to the Western slope of Colorado. I understand the importance of keeping pets company! I grew up on a farm with many animals and my first job was pet sitting/walking. I love creating a bond with all of the animals I watch. I also have experience caring for special needs and limited mobility animals. Each animal has their own habits and tendencies, and I try to be very attentive to care for them the best I can. I’m an early riser and enjoy morning walks with the pups. I also do pet portraits and can be reached by phone, text, or email. I have a car for commuting. I have familiarized myself with the many trails and nice places to walk around town. I also provide water during walks and visits. I have a good sense for gauging an animals comfort and limitations.

13. Brandi M.

“Brandi has been great with my fur baby! She keeps good contact with me and updates me every visit with pictures and info about her time with my dog. I really love her picture updates; since I am gone all day it gives me peace of mind seeing his picture knowing he is in good and caring hands. She also gives my dog toys and treats which he loves and I appreciate.”

14. Sophronia B.

“Prompt, friendly, great communication. Highly recommend.”

About: Lifetime pet owner with a passion for animals, ready to spoil your four-legged friends! Scroll to the bottom to learn more about me! In the meantime, here are some points on how I aim to take the utmost care of your pets. ⬇️ HOUSE SITTING: 🏡 Your pets should hardly notice you’re missing! They will be treated as my own. 💛 🏡 YEARS of experience house & ranch sitting. Ask for references! 🏡 Comfortable with complex routines involving pets & livestock. (i.e. dogs, cats, horses, cattle, chickens, goats, pigs, rabbits, working dogs, etc…) 🏡 The goal is for you to return to a clean home & healthy, happy pets! 🏡 Will review a list of questions prior to your departure covering pets, livestock, chores, & home maintenance! Attention to these details are important! (i.e. vet info, trash day, water shut-off, etc...) 🏡 IF staying overnight, all linens, trash, dishes, etc.. will be cleaned and replaced prior to your return! No one wants to clean when they get home from a trip. 🏡 NEVER will I ask to bring my pets or someone else to your home. DOG WALKING: 🐶 Happy to walk BIG or little dogs! They don’t need perfect leash manners. 🐶 Let’s go for a 30 min free “consultation” walk. Make sure it’s a good fit! 🐶 Willing to follow any training protocols you currently have in place. 🐶 Have my own sturdy leashes or can use yours, whichever is preferred! 🐶 Will only walk one client’s dog(s) at a time. 🐶 Very conscious of our surroundings to avoid conflict with other passing people, dogs, wildlife, bicycles, etc… Also carry deterrent spray! 🐶 No “lolly-gaggin” here! Let's get those pups out the door asap to maximize walk time! 🐶 During the walk, happy to keep them moving to burn some energy -but also get some sniffing in as that provides great mental stimulation! DROP-IN VISITS: 👋 In Montrose, available up to 3x’s per day. 👋Outside of Montrose (20+ mins), available 1x - 2x per day. 👋Weekdays & Weekends -my timing is flexible! 👋 Dedicated to quickly doing chores & MOSTLY making your pets feel special! 👋 The ONLY reason I’ll have my phone out is to send cute update pics. 📸 BOARDING & DOGGY DAY CARE: ❗️Will resume offering this in the future, when Boogie has recovered from spay surgery and Leuko is a little older. Stay tuned! About Me: I've always had a passion for animals, and was raised with dogs, cats, horses, pigs, goats, cows, chickens, birds, fish, hamsters, etc... Through high-school I worked for a horse boarding facility cleaning stalls, exercising horses, and ensuring diet & blanketing protocols were followed with precise detail. After high-school, I spent four years wrangling for guest ranches in the summer, packing for outfitters in the fall, and house sitting during the off seasons! All this to say, I have met and cared for a huge variety of animals under various circumstances. I keep a watchful eye out for illness or injury, and feel confident in my responses to emergency situations. I'm not afraid to ask questions when I'm unsure, either! I take pride in following your routine precisely, sharing updates frequently, and giving you the greatest peace of mind that your pets, plants, & home are in good hands while you're away. Currently I'm studying for my Bachelor's degree, full-time via online courses. This means I will not leave your pets for extended periods while boarding, have flexibility to schedule visits that best suit your pet's needs, and can "work from your home" while housesitting if need be. I have a lot of experience with senior pet care, and am confident in my ability to keep your puppy's training on track while you're away! Please reach out with any questions, I'd love to discuss your situation more and see if we'd be a good fit! My schedule is flexible, as I'm a full-time student working on earning my Bachelor's degree online from home. Meaning, I can adjust my schedule to suit your pet’s needs! My goal is to take the utmost care to follow all routines and directions! Plus, strive to keep your pets healthy and home tidy! I will watch for physical injuries, monitor their "excrements" for signs of illness, and watch for conditions across ALL your pets / livestock including: ear infections, pink-eye, bloat, colic, abscesses, UTI's, etc... In addition to keeping an eye on pet health, I take watching for property issues like broken fences, leaking pipes, strange appliance noises, etc… seriously as well! I want to make sure your home is the way you left it, if not better! I’m fine with lengthy ranch routines morning and night. Again if questions arise or illness or injury is suspected in any of your animals --I will reach out with photos right away. I do have experience navigating small & large animal emergencies and react quickly to these situations!

19. Anthony A.
About: I’ve spent my entire like around animals so if you’ve got more than a dog then that is completely okay. For the moment I can’t bring any animals to my residence but I am more than happy to do check ins or even house sit during the process. I can do walks, runs, hikes when the weather is good and even a joy ride! My fiancé and I have two dogs of our own, one is named Duke and the other Norma. Duke is a playful pup and loves to make a new friend so if your pets are friendly just let me know and I’ll bring him by on the initial introduction. I like to spoil dogs and have them do tricks for treats too :) I am new to the area and am usually not too busy so I have a pretty flexible schedule, I’ll update if anything changes in the mean time. I am very pet specific, however you’d like for me to be with them is how I’ll be. I’ve got enough patients for the ornery ones and enough energy for the playful ones, fb marketplace to browse for the lazy ones and enough of an old school type of vibe for the hard going ones.
