“Cheyenne did a great job taking care of our dogs. We were gone for 5 days and she came over 3 times a day. She fed, walked, and played with them and was always on time. We received pictures and videos after every visit. When we arrived home the house was clean and the dogs were happy and doing great! I would highly recommend her if you need someone to care for your animals. We will be reaching back out to her the next time we need a sitter.”
About: I have loved dogs since childhood and worked training and caring for them since that time. I enjoy making dogs feel happy, loved and secure. I’m retired and enjoy walking. As a retiree I can devote as much time as needed for walks, play and cuddles! I also give unlimited belly rubs!! About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm, I cared for everything from small livestock to beloved family pets, giving me hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and personalities. Over the years, I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, pot-bellied pigs, sheep, goats, horses, donkeys, cows, reptiles, and amphibians. Most recently, I've provided care for senior dogs and understand the extra patience, compassion, and attention they need as they age. I'm currently attending school to become an airline pilot, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. About: I have never not owned a pet until recently. I had two cats (brother and sister) for 19 years. I have always had dogs. My most recent was my 60 pounds of love - a black lab. One of my cats had diabetes where I had to give him insulin shots twice a day. Thankfully, he went into remission after 5 years. I have raised puppies and took care of senior dogs. Macie provided six days of drop-in visits for my two cats this week. What a super sitter! She was very punctual, and when her schedule needed to vary at all, she let me know ahead of time. She had every characteristic you want to see and experience in an ideal sitter. She was reliable, conscientious, thorough, and highly communicative. She sent Rover report cards immediately following each visit and asked good questions when needed. She made sure to follow all instructions about food, water, and litter box care and did a great job relaying important details about each of these areas. I looked forward to her detailed reports three times a day, and she shared fantastic photos each time. I felt assured my cats were in great hands. Macie is an outstanding sitter, and it is easy to give her a high recommendation.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
