About: I've been a dog lover and owner for more than 25 years and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. My first two dogs lived to be 16 years old, giving me firsthand experience with the patience, attention, and extra care senior dogs often need. Today, I share my life with Bailey Love, my 5½-year-old rescue pup and adventure buddy. We spend lots of time exploring the trails and woods around Asheville, and it's where he's happiest. Bailey is friendly, well-trained, and loves making new friends...both human and canine. For drop-in visits, I often have the flexibility to stay a little longer when schedules allow. As a business owner, I can sometimes bring my laptop and work from your home while spending extra time with your pet, offering additional companionship, playtime, cuddles, and comfort while you're away. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, loved, and as relaxed as possible until you're back home.

About: I have been looking after animals my entire life. I watched pets for neighbors growing up, walking, feeding and administering medicine. I have looked after dogs and cats for friends whenever they go out of town. I currently work weekday mornings, and two days a week I also work afternoons. My morning shifts are 6 hours, so I will have time to check on your fur babies early in the morning, and again around 2pm most days, or until 6pm the other two days. I’m free all day saturdays and sundays! I will follow whatever instructions you leave for me regarding how you’d like me to care for your pet while you’re away. I can administer medicine if necessary, and will give lots of love no matter what!

“Laina was an excellent caretaker for Cooper. Cooper has lots of anxiety and needs lots of patience which Laina was able to provide. She had great communication the whole time and made me feel comfortable Cooper was cared for. As difficult as Cooper can be to handle she was able to do it. I would happily recommend Laina to anyone who wants their dog cared for properly for their specific needs. She even got Cooper to feel comfortable enough to lick her hand which is not like him with new people. Great communication, great care, ten out of ten experience, by far the best I could’ve hired. About: I started working in boarding kennels straight out of high school 13 years ago. I did that until I got into dog grooming 6 years ago. I’m looking to get back into the passion of caring for all sorts of dogs not just cutting their hair now that I’m home full time. I have experience in administering medication, and any special dietary needs. I have a two year old daughter, Laeton. She’s in daycare during the week periodically & My availability is pretty flexible. I will feed / water them twice a day walks 4x a day. I have a field beside my house , I live in the country. I am also available to pick up dogs and take them on walks , I’m all about taking pictures so I’ll definitely blow your phone up with pictures while your baby is in my care.

About: As a former alpaca and goat farmer with over 16 years of experience, I thoroughly enjoy caring for animals. Watching with wonder with each new interaction and savoring the sweet moments of all living beings brings much joy. I currently work full time as a special education instructional assistant but I am flexible in the evenings (after 4pm), on weekends and during the summer. I take pride in following through with expectations with compassion and excellence. I also enjoy taking photos and sharing documentation of your animal’s wellbeing with you.

“Highly recommend! Albert (David) was awesome with our three dogs! They’re not the easiest—one is giant, one is high anxiety, and one is blind. And they all have special medication procedures. Plus we have a quirky century-old house that’s not the easiest either…but David was not phased by any of this! The dogs instantly loved him at the meet and greet, and we came home to them completely calm and happy (which means they got lots of love and attention and walks)! We hope he’s always available when we need a sitter.”
