For drop-in visits, I care for cats and dogs in their own home where they feel most comfortable. For cats, this includes feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, enrichment, and quiet companionship while respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. For dogs, I provide potty breaks, feeding, walks if requested, playtime, and plenty of attention. I always follow each pet’s routine closely and make sure to spend quality time with them rather than rushing through visits.

It’s really important to me to know as much as possible about your pet before I care for them. Things that help me give them the best experience include: any medical conditions or allergies, quirks or habits, what comforts them if they get nervous, and their favorite (or least favorite) toys and treats. I’d also love to know their routines, like feeding or walk times, litter box habits, how they get along with other pets, and anything you do to help them feel safe and settled. Basically, every pet is unique, and the more I know about their likes, needs, and routines, the easier it is to make sure they have a great time while you’re away.
A typical day
I love getting to know each pet and figuring out what makes them happiest! For dogs, I’m always up for walks, playtime in the yard, fetch sessions, or just a little extra cuddle time if that’s what they like best. If your dog has a favorite toy or game, let me know. I’m always happy to make sure playtime feels familiar and fun. With cats, I love keeping things interesting by rotating toys, playing with feather wands or laser pointers, or just providing a cozy lap and some gentle attention if they prefer a quieter vibe. I’ll also find little ways to give them mental stimulation, like puzzle feeders or hide-and-seek with treats. My main goal is to make sure your pets feel happy, safe, and loved — whether that’s through active play, new games, or simply chilling together at their pace.

I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have cared for cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, rats, and even corn snakes. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly love getting to know each one’s unique personality. I currently have three cats who are my world, and I’m very intentional about keeping them mentally stimulated and comfortable. I understand that every pet is different, especially cats, who do things on their own terms, and I always respect their boundaries while making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. I’ve also cared for neighbors’ dogs and take reliability very seriously. When I visit pets, I don’t just stop by for a quick check-in. I make sure to spend quality time with them, playing, hanging out, and giving them attention, typically staying up to 30 minutes so they feel genuinely cared for while their owners are away. Additionally, my parents had a diabetic cat, so I have experience with special-needs care and understand the importance of consistency, attention, and following care instructions closely. Your pets’ comfort, happiness, and well-being are always my top priority.
