“Bristoe had a ball! Thank you for having him! I loved the texts throughout my stay away from my boy. Theresa was very accommodating and easy to work with. Thanks again!! We look forward to future stays.”

“Christina and her family were wonderful with Gracie! I received pictures every day. Gracie loves walks and kids and she got both! I would definitely schedule again and highly recommend Christina to lovingly take care of your pet.”

“We recently had to board our dog, Coco, with Joyce on very short notice due to a family emergency. We can’t thank her enough for her incredible care and support during this difficult time. From the moment we dropped Coco off, it was clear she was in good hands. Joyce was attentive, kind, and made sure Coco felt comfortable and loved. We truly appreciate the extra effort Joyce put into making our pup feel at home. We’ll definitely be returning for future boarding needs. Thank you, Joyce, for being such a wonderful host!”

“Candace is amazing at giving updates of my baby and making sure he is comfortable. Being a last minute booking, Candace still took my baby in and she’s very reliable. I will continue booking with her.”

“Thank you so much for taking such phenomenal care of Snoopy! You completely put our minds at ease from the start. The daily photo updates were great and put our minds at ease. It was clear that he was in good hands. Snoopy came home happy and relaxed and we will definitely be booking again!”

“Jessica was amazing. Took such good care of our two dogs and has expertise in grooming! I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs with her and she made sure to update me everyday which made me feel better. I highly recommend Jessica to anyone!”

“Ellen is a phenomenal sitter. Athena has stayed with her twice and there are always other pups for her to play with and so much space. Ellen has no issue at all maintaining multiple dogs! Athena is always so happy at drop off and pickup, and needs a big nap after her stay from all the fun! We look forward to booking again!!”

“I am so very pleased with Cheryl and her furry family. Cheryl was very meticulous about assessing my dogs needs and care right from the start. My dog is quite skidish about new dogs, new environments and new people. This was no challenge for Cheryl. She was able to ease my dogs insecurities right away and allowed her 2 dogs time to meet our little girl on her terms and very cautiously. Cheryl was flexible with my drop off and pick up times and communicated with me throughout the entire stay with updates and photos. She also provided my dog with medications for her skin and gave us great feedback on how I may be able to better care for her allergies. Cheryl is a very responsible dog owner and it certainly carries into her ability to care for my dog as well. My dog was happy and stress free while in Cheryl's care and I will definitely be using her again! If you're looking for a caretaker that will provide top notch care and treat your furry companion with the love and respect they deserve, then look no further and reach out to Cheryl.”

“Heather and her family immediately put me at ease. I knew Brady would be in great hands! She sent the sweetest pictures of Brady. He was happy and healthy when I picked him up. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!”

“Sam is such a wonderful dog lover and knew exactly what our dog Dublin is like and how to introduce him to other dogs. We didn't know this prior the drop off, but she had a few other dogs in different sizes, including her own dog, so it was wonderful for Dublin to be able to play with them and socialize. Her house has a huge fenced yard, surrounded by a woody area, which I think was perfect for Dublin. This is just a one-time boarding opportunity, as we were traveling through the area, but we'd certainly board our dog with ther again if we could.”

“This was my Kobe’s 1st overnight stay away from home and I am personally Grateful for this family 🙂 They took such good care of my dog while he was in their care. From the walks and the feedings, he even made friends while he was there Lol I will definitely be bringing him back…”

“Oliver was so loved by Svitlana and her family. I had regular updates and photos, and my dog seemed so comfortable and happy while there. Svitlana was very communicative, and I highly recommend her. We will be repeat customers for sure.”
“Jake is amazing with dogs. We are lucky to have found him! It was obvious that our dog was happy from his updates and pictures. We didn't worry about her one bit while we were away for 10 days. Thank you, Jake!”

“Tina communicated well and sent me pictures of my dog while I was away. She responded right away whenever I sent her a message as well. I will be using her in the future whenever it is needed! Thank you!”

“Elizabeth is amazing with my dog Louie. He has been turned down at quite a few places because of his pretty severe anxiety. Elizabeth took her time with him, allowed me to set up a meet and greet an did three separate days with him before my vacation when he would be spending 6 days with her. He did great and Elizabeth kept me updated the entire time. She obviously has experience with all types of behavioral and health needs and it is clear how much she cares for and loves animals. I am grateful I found her and Louie has definitely become a regular with her. Now that he is home I can tell how much fun he had while I was away and as an owner of an anxious pitbull, there is no better feeling than knowing that!”

“Josie and her family were very welcoming of Clove. I asked for a meet and greet since this is our first time booking her service. Our dog immediately got so excited to meet everyone that she did zoomies in their yard. We received daily updates through photos, videos and texts of how she was doing. We knew that she had a wonderful time since she came back home happy and tired. We will definitely rebook with her!”

“Silvia and Roberto were fantastic with Penny! The daily photos of Penny getting comfortable really put us at ease. We definitely plan to board her with them again.”

“Great sitter. Carrie and Jack were very communicative and great with our two pups. They have a nice fenced in yard and two pups of their own. Will definitely book again.”

“I have never used a sitter before for my dog. Sarah was Awesome. She totally put my mind at ease, kept me updated daily with pictures, and even spoke directly at one point. My dog had such a good time, I think she was a little sad to come home...LOL Sarah's home is totally dog friendly, and very clean. She has a beautiful fenced in back yard, but till took the time to walk around the neighborhood with my girl. I was totally Blessed to get her, and look forward to traveling in the future now. Highly recommend...!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Gettysburg
This was the first time we left our Husky with a sitter and it worked out so well. Stephanie and Jackson are delightful folks and they took good care of our boy. He seemed very content when we picked him up. We will definitely book with Stephanie and Jackson again.

Amanda is amazing! We have an aging and reactive sweet sweet pitty who has been through a lot in his life and he is so well taken care of there it makes our travels so much more enjoyable knowing he’s in great hands. Amanda sends regular updates via the app, including photos and videos so we can see our sweet guy getting all the love and attention he deserves. Thanks Amanda - will definitely be in touch again!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
