“I am so very pleased with Cheryl and her furry family. Cheryl was very meticulous about assessing my dogs needs and care right from the start. My dog is quite skidish about new dogs, new environments and new people. This was no challenge for Cheryl. She was able to ease my dogs insecurities right away and allowed her 2 dogs time to meet our little girl on her terms and very cautiously. Cheryl was flexible with my drop off and pick up times and communicated with me throughout the entire stay with updates and photos. She also provided my dog with medications for her skin and gave us great feedback on how I may be able to better care for her allergies. Cheryl is a very responsible dog owner and it certainly carries into her ability to care for my dog as well. My dog was happy and stress free while in Cheryl's care and I will definitely be using her again! “Boarding with Ellen was outstanding. We had a family emergency that made taking our large dog with us impossible. He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”

“Sam is such a wonderful dog lover and knew exactly what our dog Dublin is like and how to introduce him to other dogs. We didn't know this prior the drop off, but she had a few other dogs in different sizes, including her own dog, so it was wonderful for Dublin to be able to play with them and socialize. Her house has a huge fenced yard, surrounded by a woody area, which I think was perfect for Dublin. This is just a one-time boarding opportunity, as we were traveling through the area, but we'd certainly board our dog with ther again if we could.”

She was very accommodating to my old senior Mochi and was able to arrange a quiet area for him to rest as well as a fenced outdoor area for him to roam. I was a little worried letting someone else watch Mochi since he's old dog ailments and we're from out of town, but Pamela gave me such a peace of mind with her experience with senior dogs and it showed with how great she took care of my ol'boy! I will definitely be back in touch with Pamela next time we're in the area and need a dogsitter :)”

Typically, he only eats once a day when I’m away, but this time, he ate twice daily, which says everything about how comfortable and cared for he felt. They kept me updated with photos throughout his stay, and it was clear he was being treated like part of the family. He even bonded with their dog, which made it that much more special. The biggest moment for me? When they dropped him off, he actually cried when they left. That told me all I needed to know. I genuinely feel like Bentley has a second family now. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing I have a safe, loving place for him whenever I travel. I’ll absolutely be booking regular daycare visits moving forward.”

About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! I’m a stay at home mom and I homeschool my two teenage daughters. They absolutely adore animals as well. I feel this will allow me to spend a lot of one on one time with your pet. Your fur baby will be well cared for and interacted with while they’re here! (Please note that Rover doesn’t consider my children’s ages to count towards, “children being present in our home.” However, I think this information should be available to those who choose to put their pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your fur baby to run! I also have separate family room in my house where our dogs sleep at night, and that is where I would put crates if they need to be crated at any time.
