About: I have been a pet owner and caregiver my whole life. While I am a people person, I have always related the most to animals. I see them as family and friends, This means that daily routines such as feeding/watering, bathing, walking, playing, and administering medicine are not done as routines. I do them with as much intention and love as I can! I have cared for every sized dog, every cat personality, and farm animals. I am currently more available this summer: my main job is M-F, 9am - 1pm, meaning I can visit your pets 3 times a day as you need before and after those hours! I want your pets to feel as safe with me as they feel with you. I stick to the schedules I'm given, making sure I don't miss the extra pet you might give them. I enjoy cleaning as well, as this usually gives the animals a better headspace while you are out, so your home will be respected as well!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a kid, and I have experience with taking care of many different breeds, young and old. I love animals and will do everything I can to make yours comfortable and happy. Work is currently slow, so I have the time to give your pets all the attention they need. I do not have a fenced yard, but walk them on my private lane often, and take them to the dog park. About: My entire life pretty much I've grown up around animals! I've had different rodent, and currently have 2 cats. The last 10ish years my family and I have cat/dog sat for multiple family members and friends. The last year I've cat sat for my neighbor multiple times. As far as regular work goes, I'm only doing part-time due to the limit on how many hours are being given. I'm also not enrolled in school, so my schedule has more than enough time to fit in some extra pet care. I have experience with giving medication (mostly pills), so if your fur baby has meds that are needed to be given, I'm more than willing. Like a lot of animals, I enjoy basking in the sun. So, taking your animals on long walks isn't an issue either. Your animals needs are my priority.
About: I've been an animal lover my entire life and have years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I currently have a 7 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a 1.5 year old Pomsky, so I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs. I work full-time in York, PA, so I limit the area where I provide services between York and New Oxford. I stop directly after work (6 pm is quitting time) back at your house, then return to spend the night after feeding my own dog. I provide routine meal times, potty breaks, litter clean-up, medications as needed, treats as positive reinforcement, play time, cuddles, walks and other exercise, and if your pets are used to sleeping in your bed, they are welcome to do the same with me! I do all of this in your home so your best bud doesn't have to stress about too many changes while they are missing you. While Rover's pricing is set up on a per dog fee schedule, I cap charges at $80 per night and $40 per drop in or walk, regardless of the number of pets in your household. In the Rover app, I must modify your booking to be able to do that. I work full-time 9:30am -6pm, Monday -Friday in York, Pa, so I limit my service area during the week to areas between York and New Oxford. I can serve a larger area such as Gettysburg and Dillsburg on weekends. I adhere carefully to client directions about medication, supervision, feeding, and exercise. I want dogs to keep their usual routine as much as possible, and owners to rest assured their treasured pets are cared for as they would. I am a background -checked government employee that prides myself on being dependable and trustworthy. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5. My brother was very active in the dog community and often took me with him. I took care of his Rotwilliers whenever he vacationed and had several dogs of my own. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
