I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! I’m a stay at home mom and I homeschool my two teenage daughters. They absolutely adore animals as well. I feel this will allow me to spend a lot of one on one time with your pet. Your fur baby will be well cared for and interacted with while they’re here! (Please note that Rover doesn’t consider my children’s ages to count towards, “children being present in our home.” However, I think this information should be available to those who choose to put their pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your fur baby to run! I also have separate family room in my house where our dogs sleep at night, and that is where I would put crates if they need to be crated at any time.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a kid, and I have experience with taking care of many different breeds, young and old. I love animals and will do everything I can to make yours comfortable and happy. Work is currently slow, so I have the time to give your pets all the attention they need. About: The last year I've been cat sitting for my neighbor. She has 7 total, one of them being an older three legged cat. Because of my flexibility, I've been very reliable with when I'm able to cat sit, as well as gaining a lot of experience in general due to how frequent it is.

I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. Now, they are among the most affectionate and friendly cats I've known. They get along with other cats after a couple of sniffs and a hiss on their part.

We felt very secure leaving our Shitzu for the day, Chewie blended well with their family, and I felt very comfortable. I see them as family and friends, This means that daily routines such as feeding/watering, bathing, walking, playing, and administering medicine are not done as routines. I do them with as much intention and love as I can! I have cared for every sized dog, every cat personality, and farm animals. I am currently more available this summer: my main job is M-F, 9am - 1pm, meaning I can visit your pets 3 times a day as you need before and after those hours! I want your pets to feel as safe with me as they feel with you. I stick to the schedules I'm given, making sure I don't miss the extra pet you might give them. I enjoy cleaning as well, as this usually gives the animals a better headspace while you are out, so your home will be respected as well!

About: I have had dogs for the past 30 years. I am an approved foster home for a pug rescue. I have rescued several dogs! The last two years, I have been a dog walker! The dog I recently rescued was a client I walked whose mom was disabled. She needed more care than her mom could give her. We bonded from the first walk, and I knew I could be her forever home! I have a blind/deaf pug as well. I do a lot of housesitting and dogsitting it’s always a joy! My home is on an acre. I have my own business out of my home, and so I am home all day and your pet will not be left alone! I am home all day running my health coach business. Pet care will keep me busy and your animal happy..and the resident dogs will love having playmates! I do have a portion of my yard fenced in so the dogs have lots of room to run and play and be dogs. Dogs are rarely crated unless they are used to that and the owner request that they have time in their crate. I am home the majority of the time. I work from home on a part-time basis so I am with the dogs the majority of the time. When the dogs come to my home, it is like they are on their own little vacation. They have a good time playing with the other dogs and go home tired.

My husband and I have firefighter/EMT schedules so we're often home during the day, and handle emergencies well. We have an irregular schedule in my house. You will have to check my calendar for availability. We are often home during the week and daytime. My care for my dogs and foster dogs depend on the dog. My female dog is a princess who sleeps on the couch, but my male needs to be kenneled to keep out of trouble. We have a dog door to allow our dogs freedom to go in and out as they please.

About: I've been around animals my whole life. From the littlest of fish, to the largest of cows and other farm animals! I have 3 dogs of my own, two Colorado mountain dogs and a medium pittie mix. I also have 4 geckoes (2 leopards, a giant Madagascar day gecko, and my newest boy, a harlequin crested gecko!). The last 10ish years my family and I have cat/dog sat for multiple family members and friends. The last year I've cat sat for my neighbor multiple times. As far as regular work goes, I'm only doing part-time due to the limit on how many hours are being given. I'm also not enrolled in school, so my schedule has more than enough time to fit in some extra pet care. About: I am an absolute animal lover! I have had dogs, birds, fish, a cat, bunnies, mice, lizards, guinea pig, and hamsters! I have been around animals since I was probably about 4 or 5 years old. My grandpa gave me my very first dog (a beagle named Lady) and it was love at first site. Ever since, I have always had a dog! I currently have an almost 12 year old staffy mix named Stoli and 12 fish (mixed kinds). Stoli and I always enjoy a good run or hike or trip to the lake for a swim. I got her when I was working at an animal hospital back in Jersey.She is my best friend and I know I will car for another persons pet(s) the same way I look out for my own! After working at the animal hospital I enrolled in school to become a Certified Dog Trainer, which I completed several years ago. I then started volunteering at a local animal shelter where I helped work with the dogs before getting adopted and sometimes after. Currently my schedule is pretty flexible which allows me to be available at different times throughout the day. I do have a young daughter that I take care of during the day as well. I am unable to care for animals in my home because my dog does not get along with others. However I am able to follow your instructions for care in your home.
About: I’ve taken care of my family dogs since the oldest was a puppy, I have take care of friends dogs as well as relatives dogs too. I’m currently working full time and take care of pets when I get home. When I’m taking care of dogs for others I find time before and after work. I have a fenced in yard, my dogs get along well with other dogs . I’ve had my dogs interact with other dogs since puppies . I take them on walks and there’s a dog park near my home.

I was a little worried letting someone else watch Mochi since he's old dog ailments and we're from out of town, but Pamela gave me such a peace of mind with her experience with senior dogs and it showed with how great she took care of my ol'boy! I will definitely be back in touch with Pamela next time we're in the area and need a dogsitter :)”

“I am so very pleased with Cheryl and her furry family. Cheryl was very meticulous about assessing my dogs needs and care right from the start. My dog is quite skidish about new dogs, new environments and new people. This was no challenge for Cheryl. She was able to ease my dogs insecurities right away and allowed her 2 dogs time to meet our little girl on her terms and very cautiously. Cheryl was flexible with my drop off and pick up times and communicated with me throughout the entire stay with updates and photos. She also provided my dog with medications for her skin and gave us great feedback on how I may be able to better care for her allergies. Cheryl is a very responsible dog owner and it certainly carries into her ability to care for my dog as well. My dog was happy and stress free while in Cheryl's care and I will definitely be using her again!
