About: Who do you trust to care for your Best Friend when you can't be there? I am a professional who works from home and loves furry and feathered friends. As a registered nurse, I am qualified to care for your special needs or senior pet. I enjoy learning about animal behavior and body language and strive to be a respectful companion to all animals I encounter. In addition to dog and cat experience, I have experience with and am confident in caring for chickens, ducks, rabbits, small caged birds and Guinea pigs. I would consider it a privilege to care for your Best Friend when you cannot. I work from home and have the flexibility to maintain most animals’ schedules. . I prioritize safety, whether boarding, walking, or caring for pets in your home. I maintain a schedule that ensures I can provide individual attention to every pet in my care. Canine clients must provide proof of vaccination. Additional fees may apply for walking intact dogs and/or dogs over 75 pounds.

About: I'm a certified veterinary assistant. I've spent the past 6 years working in daycare boarding and rescue facilities. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, medicating and microchipping. I am a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of time to spend with all types of animals. Doing a job like this allows me to spend more time with my family. I care for every animal differently depending on their needs/ their owners needs. I also use a slip lead while using a regular leash just in case one fails.

Debbie did a great job walking Winston. She was on time and let Winston go at his own pace. He loves to stop and sniff and she didn’t hurry him along.

I have cared for dogs and cats with different personalities, routines and needs over the years and have a background in health care. I am confident I can take excellent care of your pets and give them the fulfillment they need while you are away! I am available daily with no set schedule. About: As an animal lover myself, I understand how stressful busy schedules can be for our fur babies (and their parents)! I have a flexible schedule and lots of belly scratches to give, so let me help you! Dogs have always been an integral part of my life and I currently have two of my own, Enzo and Bru. I have experience with puppies, seniors, handicapped dogs and have owned a variety of them all at one time or another. I have fostered shelter babies, cared for malnourished babies until they were healthy again, and cared for dogs after major surgeries as well. No dog is too small or too big. If I can help, please let me know! I currently have an open and flexible schedule with no unavailable days or times. I recently moved to Washington from Louisiana and am doing side work until school starts later this year. The safety of your pet is my highest priority (even above giving belly rubs), and I believe good communication is key for successful care. Whatever needs your pet has, I will do my absolute best to fulfill those needs while keeping them safe and happy.

I want to thank Jordan for looking after my two dogs. She was so sweet and helpful. I loved that she was constantly updating about the dogs, and sending pictures and she took the time to play with them, fed them and took them for a walk. She was very patient with the dogs. Sanji and Robin are very playful since they’re about a year old. Honestly, after an unexpected long day at work it was great to know my dogs were im good hands. Thank you for asking about taking your shoes off inside the apartment it was very thoughtful and thank you for following all the instructions for the dogs

About: Before coming back to the vet field I used to work as a pet nanny solely to a family with 7 dogs and 3 cats at one time while also managing that households chores and responsibilities- including cleaning and gardening. I currently work 3 days a week from 7am-6pm Mon,Tues,Fri, and have large availability around that. I can do stop ins and spend the night on work days, and spend all day at your place when discussed ahead of time. I'm happy to do drop in visits multiple times a day to care for your critters and medicate them if needed, or just visit once to make sure all is well. I can feed, clean litter boxes, go for potty walks and transport pets to appointments. I offer only going to your house to care for your pets as my zoo at home does not appreciate any more friends. I will use your equipment, food and medications to care for your pets, but can also bring my own if needed and discussed in advance.

About: We love watching doggos! We both work from Home so we can do frequent potty breaks and walks. We have a large fenced yard to get the zoomies out and can make some scrambled eggs if your pup is a little nervous in our house to make their tummies happy. We do have a 2 year old who loves dogs and my husband or I are always within arms reach when we have dogs in the house. We’ve taught her to pet gently and to stop petting if the dog is pulling away and continue to teach her to be aware of what a dog might be telling us with their body. We have watched dogs that are more shy and playful like a border collie, to having experience with my own German Shepherd/Lab/Rottweiler mix so we are comfortable with all types and sizes of pups! We love taking them on adventures and exploring the neighborhood too! We both work from home so are home most of the day. We love walks around our neighborhood and have a large yard to get energy out. We have pick-up/drop-off listed as well for an additional charge. Lots of snuggles, walks and treats! Please feel free to bring their bed, stuffed animal, and favorite toys to make them comfortable. We will try to walk them (1.5-2mi/day) unless otherwise requested.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10! Growing up I owned multiple small and big dogs, helped breed golden retrievers, and I currently work as a kennel technician at The Puppy Store in Vineyard! I love taking care of dogs, I am experienced in medicine handling and administering, and grooming. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! I am working part-time and go to school full-time, so I can work with you and we can make figure out our schedules! I’d be more than willing to drop by and take care of your dog, watch them, walk them, and love them! I’ll be flexible with you as long as you’re patient with me! I respect the dog’s boundaries and I try my best to gain their trust before I fully interact with them. If I go to your house I become fully aware of the space the dog has. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10, giving me over 15 years of hands-on experience. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, and bathe their dogs—ranging from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups. I’m confident with dogs of all breeds and temperaments.🥰 In addition to my dog care experience, I currently have two cats of my own, so I’m also very familiar with feline behavior and needs. ❤️ Whether it’s providing calm companionship or keeping routines consistent, I always treat every pet like my own—with patience, love, and care.🫶🏻 I’m currently working at home, which gives me plenty of flexibility for dog walking and drop-in visits. I’m available on most weekdays before 9am or after 2 PM and throughout the weekends. I make it a priority to communicate with pet parents by sending daily videos and photos, so you’ll always know how your pup is doing.🥰😊 Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. During drop-in visits or walks, I always keep a close eye and document everything with videos and pictures to give you peace of mind. I take time to understand each dog’s personality and routine, so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.❤️

About: I have walked and trained dogs since I was 12 years old. I have walked them often in my neighborhood (even for free sometimes!) Maybe I didn’t know the economic consequences but I love being in the presence of animals I am a freelancer that works online.I want to care for your pet while I work on some work simultaneously! I can take many breaks to get the puppy (and human) zoomies out. I live in an apartment complex with a pet relief area. Additionally, I live within a walking distance from a field. I have a dog of my own (she lives with my parents) and I bring her down to Seattle when I can. Most importantly, I am flexible with cancellations and cost since this is something I do as more of a hobby more than a job. I value your pet’s safety, therefore I am sure to ask for their dietary needs, walk schedule, if they have medications I ask for dosage and time to take, and most importantly, I keep my phone on me at all times to communicate to you! Thank you for considering me! I look forward to meeting your fur baby🐶💕

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
