About: I'm a certified veterinary assistant. I've spent the past 6 years working in daycare boarding and rescue facilities. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, medicating and microchipping. I am a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of time to spend with all types of animals. Doing a job like this allows me to spend more time with my family. I care for every animal differently depending on their needs/ their owners needs. I also use a slip lead while using a regular leash just in case one fails.

About: I have always had dogs and currently have bunnies too. I volunteer one morning a week at the animal shelter when I'm physically able. I have trained six of my own. Also enjoy creating enrichment and providing interaction for those who benefit from it. Happy to give your pets company for a short while. I am available to do drop-ins for up to an hour or two in the mornings or early afternoons including a potty break. Depending on the dog and the day, longer walks may be available. Dependent on demeanor, I can provide company outside or inside with as much attention requested, a short walk, or play session. Automatically thresholds will be respected for exposure to triggers. On-leash will include practicing loose-leash walking, lots of sniffing, and some impulse control. Play will include the toys and/or treats provided at the pups home.

About: I grew up with a Pomeranian and cared for him through his senior years, so I know the extra patience and gentleness older pets need. I also raised my brother’s kitten to adulthood and have dog sat for relatives and cat sat for friends and coworkers, from playful puppies to shy kitties. What sets me apart is that pets have never been a side interest for me. Pets have been a part of my daily life since childhood, and I treat every animal like my own! As a student, my schedule gives me a good amount of flexibility during the week, so pet care fits in naturally rather than being squeezed in around a rigid 9-to-5. I can build feeding, walks, and playtime into my day without rushing, and I have the free time to give each pet real attention, not just a quick check-in. That flexibility also means I can adjust to a pet’s routine instead of asking them to adjust to mine. I only provide care in the client’s home, since I think pets do best staying in their own familiar environment, surrounded by their usual smells, sounds, and routine instead of the stress of a new space. When I’m there, I stick closely to the pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime, and I make sure to spend real one-on-one time with them, not just handle the basics. I also keep an eye on anything that seems off whether it’s their appetite, energy, or behavior so I can flag it to the owner right away.

About: Back in high school I would pet sit for any of my neighbors or friends that needed their pets looked after while they were away -- ranging from dogs to cats to bunnies and sometimes fish. When I was younger, my mom was a pet sitter and would bring me along to help care for and look after the animals and I loved every minute of it. She’d walk me through the tasks the client required and made sure everything was taken care of before leaving. As well as this, I’ve always had a dog or cat growing up and currently have a dog and 2 cats at home that I absolutely love and care for. Recently I have watched some of my friends pets while they were away on vacation as well. I am currently only available Saturdays and Sundays, but I can’t wait to spend that time with and care for your fur babies if you need! For pet safety in my client’s homes I take the necessary precautions outlined as they see fit for their pet(s) whether the pet has a tendency to knock things down or gets into things they aren’t supposed to as well as follow any other house rules while I'm there that have been discussed with the clients.

About: I have worked at veterinarians, pet stores, and animal shelters, with pets of all kinds. I love walkng, cuddling and hanging out with all dogs. I’m a stay at home mom on a farm. I love spending time with my animals and also have a Sniffspot so other dogs can enjoy our space. When your dog first gets here they can smell around all the new smells and then decide if they want to interact with the other animals or not. I supervise any interactions to keep everyone safe. All dogs are welcome to be inside or outside. We have 5 fully fenced acres.
