My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. “This was my first time using rover. I was going away for only two nights for the thanksgiving holiday. I thought my three year old healthy kitty would be fine with tons of food and water and a clean litter box. My roommate was more concerned than me and introduced me to this site. It was such a good decision and I feel kind of guilty that I almost left my kitty alone. Sheri was such a wonderful care provider for Panda. She was so kind and sent us pictures of him daily. She really gave us peace of mind as to our kitty and our apartment. Then we got stuck in a blizzard and had to extend our stay by two days. I just cannot imagine what I would have done if I had left panda alone. Sheri was so flexible and allowed me to book her for the extra days and for that I am so thankful! She is great with my 9 week old German Shepherd puppy and Stella runs up and kisses her at drop off after one day. Having Nicole has taken so much stress off me while working and having a puppy. About: Hi, I'm Trisha! I have been married for a little over 5 years to my husband Shawn. I have 2 children, a 10 year old boy, named Orion, and my daughter Kaylee, who would have been 22 years old, unfortunately she passed away from a car accident in 2020. I grew up in a little country town in CA. And was raised with animals. My grandpa was a big animal lover, and we had everything from a baby bear cub to kittens. I was in FFA for 4 years and raised a pig all 4 years to sell at the fair. Shawn is from the Arlington area and was also raised with animals. He has raised everything from goats to kittens. We feel that your pets aren't just pets, but more like a child, and we know the importance of finding the right care for your Fur-Babies. A majority of the pets we have cared for have been rescue pets. The the transition for them is hard enough as it is being left at a stranger's house, and we don't want to make that transition any more difficult for them. We ask that you bring an item with them, something that they associate with you and home. Also we ask for these items as well: food, food bowl, and water bowl, bed or bedding, toys they may want to play with, treats, and of course a daily interaction log ( we want to keep them on the same routine that they are use to, or as close to it as we can) I also try and send pictures daily, but in the off chance I miss a day, I send extra shots the next day. If we sound like a good fit for you, we are always happy to set up a meet and greet at our place for introductions. (We have also taken in fur-kids without meet and greets.) About: I have 2 Yorkshire Terriers, Dash who is 10 and Chevy who is 6 months. Dash has diabetes and requires insulin as well as oral medication and I am comfortable giving both. I also frequently take care of a friend’s senior Goldendoodle. I’ve house sat for up to a month at a time before which I am okay doing. I have more experience with dogs but I’d love to take care of your cats as well! I am currently finishing my last few pre-requisites for nursing school and most of my classes are online so I’m at home/available often. I do take care of my puppy when I’m home but I live with my family who takes care of him as well. I’d love to fit your pets into my schedule! If your pet comes to my home I do have a fully fenced front and back lawn. As well as a great neighborhood for going on walks. We were concerned about our Seabass being too anxious at night, but they made him feel very comfortable in their home. Their dog Amy is also very friendly. Seabass got to run around and play with Amy and her kids in their big backyard. He got to see their chickens and enjoyed a bonfire on his first night with them. I appreciate all the updates Lana sent us while we were away. We would definitely have our dog stay at their place again!”
“Kyla and Nicholas were incredible! They were flexible and easy going with drop-off and pick-up and they listened to all I had to share about our elderly pup. We could tell Ellie had been well taken care of and she seemed indifferent to leave, which speaks volumes! She’s usually rushing out the door to be home with us. Kyla and Nicholas really gave Ellie a home away from home!”
“April knew exactly what my pup needed. As a “still in training” young dog, she reinforced the skills we were already learning and kept him engaged. She has a great indoor space and safe backyard for dogs. We received frequent updates and it was clear he very much enjoyed his stay.”

“Bunny’s first stay went very well for her in Samantha’s care. As a shelter adopted dog she has had a harder time adapting to being away from home but she seemed to fit right in with Samantha’s family and had a great playmate and companionship with their dog Groot. Samantha has had excellent communication, and sent a sweet little update about Bunny’s stay. We would be happy to have Bunny stay with Samantha again.”
“My dogs mean everything to me and it can be difficult to find a dog sitter who understands the assignment. Allison understood the assignment. My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”

“Sheri is a great sitter! She watched our energetic young Lab while we were on our honeymoon. She sent us photos of our dog every day, which we loved. She kept our pup busy, walking her often and playing fetch in the backyard. We arranged a meet-and-greet with her beforehand, so our dog could meet her dog, and that helped put our minds at ease. Sheri asked many questions during the meet-and-greet, and we could tell that she cared a lot. We recommend Sheri highly, and we would definitely use her as a sitter again.”
