She finally settles down, but takes some firm action at first to get her to listen. Damien was very patient but firm and after the first 20 minutes were buddies the rest of the stay, going back to her chill self. He was prompt, followed all instructions and gave lots of quality time with our dogs. We feel we can plan a longer trip now and feel confident dogs will be in good hands. About: I've owned cats most of my life and taken care of family members’, friends’, and neighbors’ dogs and cats for years. My first kitty living on my own had severe health issues and anxiety, requiring extensive treatment and TLC. I know how difficult it can be being away from our furry family members knowing they need us and want to help ease some of that worry. I have experience administering medications, caring for anxious animals, and feeding special diets. I'm also happy to send plenty of pictures and updates. :) I work part time as a caregiver; it’s flexible, and the rest of my days are free for drop-in visits! I am also available to stay the night for house sitting. Every pet has their own personality and unique needs, and I think owners know their pets best. I am happy to follow whatever instructions you may have.

Our usual house sitter had to cancel on us around 2/3ish weeks before our trip and so we reached out to Jocelyn to see if she was available. She was so sweet and set up our meet and greet promptly! “Alexandra has proved herself to be a great cat-sitter. She followed our cat care instructions very well. She spent time with them in the evening/night when they get the most lonely(they sleep most of the day), gave them wet food on schedule, checked their water fountains, dry food dispensers and litter robot to make sure they were in order, and cleaned up after Boo when he puked. When we came home, the cats seemed emotionally very well and cared for. I could tell she had spent the right amount of time with them and given them enough attention, because they were not upset, stressed or angry at me for leaving them as they would be if they had not been attended to sufficiently. Alexandra was also very kind to our apartment while she was over, leaving it very clean. Best of all, she was easy to communicate with while we were away. I definitely recommend her as a pet sitter!”
