Shalene stayed at my home and cared for my dogs for about a week and a half while I was away. The most important thing to me was that my pups were happy and well cared for, and they seemed to be both when I returned. I left instructions for the pups but I don’t know what was and wasn’t followed. One ask was not to leave the little dogs bowl down as the big one will eat anything left in it. I found it down with his water and licked clean which is a big indicator the big one cleaned it out. So naturally it leaves me wondering about my other requests. The experience was a bit mixed for me overall. I would have appreciated more communication while I was gone. I had to initiate contact every time I wanted an update, and the responses were generally very brief, such as “they are ok.” I also didn’t receive any photos or proactive updates about the dogs, which is something I value when someone is staying in my home and caring for my pets. The house was generally okay when I returned, although there were a few housekeeping details that could have been better. Overall, I’m glad my dogs seemed happy and well cared for, which was the most important thing to me. For future stays, I would hope for more proactive communication, a few photos and updates, and a little more attention to leaving the house as it was found.

It's hard to leave your future baby at home while you're gone. I try to assume people have many other things going on however, the service wasn't great. There was almost no communication about Quin, I had to prompt for an update after a few days and there was a bag of dog poop under the sink when I got home so the whole house reeked like poop. I've never had something happen house sitting before so not sure what was going on.

Shalene took wonderful care of my little dog. He was happy and healthy when I returned. My house was perfect. Kitchen and baths looked like they had just been cleaned. All was perfect. She is the best I have ever had. I will use her for sure in the future. Kudos Shalene!!

Shalene came on pretty short notice. Ozzy is always very happy to see Shalene and we feel secure that our doggie and our home are in good hands with her.

We have had to be out of town several times in the last couple of months. We have had Shalene watch Ozzie three times and he really seems to have a good bond with her. She is flexible and easy to work with.

Another excellent experience with Shalene! The house was left in great shape and doggies as happy as can be :)
