About: I have had a dog since I was 5 and as I got older my responsibilities for pet care increased. I love all dogs as my own and have experience watching other dogs overnight. I am currently working part time. Roughly 6-7 hours a day on Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat. Before work I will ensure your dog’s needs are meet with bathroom breaks, breakfast and exercise. After work I am fully their for your furry friend if that means more exercise or companionship. During work your pet is free to roam my house if they are trained or I have a crate they can use. I have a fenced yard and 3 furry friends to keep your fur baby company. We have the ability to crate if desired. I will send daily updates and will exercise at least once a day.

About: Hi there! My name is Mari and I love all kinds of pets. Started volunteering at animal shelters since the age of 15 before my parents allowed me to have a dog of my own. I have done everything from walks, feedings, cleanings, and oral medication administration. Mostly worked caring for cats and dogs but have cared for some birds and even a friend's chinchilla once before. Friends, family, and coworkers have relied on me for pet care when trips come up. I have seven cats under my care at the moment. Two I adopted, three the cat distribution system gave me, and two I foster. Love pets so much that I do oil painting pet portraits for a living. 😅 I am an online student with a very flexible schedule that allows for a variety of services ranging from the short 30-60 min drop-in care to the longer walks and house sitting needs. Always happy to arrange a meet and greet! Typically, I am available every day from 8am to 7pm for meet and greets. I know work schedules can get in the way so if you need a specific time that does not fall into that range, let me know and we can go from there. In-person meet and greets can be scheduled at client homes or a neutral location. I will ensure that your pets are well cared for by providing everything they could possibly need. Food, fresh water, and a pal to play with. From my volunteer experience I am really great with administering oral medication if needed. Daily photo updates! Owners can request more photos and I'll gladly comply.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and provide overnight care of their pets for years. Now that I’ve moved to Spokane I have lots of free time to offer to new furry friends. Currently taking a break from working in schools this year to focus more time on my family. Outside of school pickups and sports we have a very open schedule. All animals deserve mental and physical stimulation. From walks, to playing with their favorite toys, to snuggling on the floor/couch your pet will be well loved in my care.

About: Grew up with big dogs and 5 cats! Been the petsitter for my family and friends for years. I've looked after a litter of newborn mini Aussie puppies and have kept up dog training & routines while my sisters were traveling. From very energetic dogs to high-needs senior dogs--I've taken care of them all! I have no allergies, and mess doesn't bother me one bit. I normally teach English Composition at the local university, but I've got nothing to teach this summer! I'm writing a novel and would LOVE a reason to step away from the keyboard--dog walking, house sitting, playing. I'm very flexible. I am a very polite guest and follow written instructions to the letter. If I am housesitting, my goal is to always leave homes as I found them. Dishes done, trash taken out, floors swept, and plants watered!

About: Dog owners and their dogs will love the fact that I understand a dogs needs I have three dogs of my own who I spend most of my time around, I understand the basics of caring about dogs and how to treat them and teach them how to be well behaved! I’ve had my oldest dog from the time he was 8 weeks, he is now 11. I have trained him how to sit, speak, shake hands, lie down, and he was fully potty trained in 1 month of having him! I also enjoy cuddling and playing outside with dogs which I’ve learned dogs are just like humans they need activity and love to stay happy and healthy, and that’s why I believe my service will be a wonderful thing. I’m currently working part-time and would love to be able to help take care of your animals, when you go on vacation or just need them walked. Dogs will always be on leash and walk on the inside part of the sidewalk, when letting them out to use the restroom I’ll ensure it’s safe for them to do so first if the area isn’t fenced.

About: I've always had dogs in my family, including several rescue dogs which has been super rewarding. My husband and I were fortunate to be able to retire early but we are both very active. I wanted to spend my time doing something productive that I love and caring for dogs is the perfect fit! I believe that every dog deserves to be valued and loved. I limit the dogs I board to a maximum of 5 dogs at a time in order to ensure that each dog will get proper care and attention (with the exception of over holidays when I will book up to 10 dogs) I don't work outside of the home. If I need to run an errand or go shopping, my husband is typically home to care for them. Dogs are rarely left alone, but if they are, it is for no longer than 2 to 3 hours. When the weather is nice, we keep the sliding door open so that the dogs can hang out indoor or outdoors, wherever they feel most comfortable. During the colder months we let the dogs out every two to four hours. We don't crate dogs unless that's what they're used to. We allow dogs on our furniture and in our bed. Dog sitting is my full time profession. I do not work outside the home and I'm available to board dogs 7 days a week 24 hours a day! My yard is fully fenced and dog proof. I have a friendly Chihuahua mix named Rudy who loves to hang out and play with other dogs.

I have 2 dogs myself and know what it means to have someone you trust taking care of your fur babies. The ability to relax and know your pets are taken care of is the best feeling. I'm here for what ever you need so that you can do what you need to do knowing your pets are in amazing hands. Im currently have really open availability as I work from home and make my own schedule. Just need a day or 2 advance notice. I can do last min visits if I'm available. Everyone pets are different and have different requirements. I understand this very well because of my own pups. So I am happy to tailor my visits to what ever is needed.

She has taught me a great deal about staying calm and confident in all situations to prevent her anxiety from rising. Thanks to her, I am learning a great deal about fear free training and cooperative care to help manage some of her insecurities. Building confidence is key! It’s safe to say that my dogs have polar opposite personalities, which helps me learn how to adjust my training according to their needs. Every dog is different, so I think it is important to learn the right communication style for each dog to make sure they are happy and secure. Before I had my current fur babies, I had another cockapoo that required extensive care towards the end of her life. I administered daily medications and monthly injections to keep her as comfortable as possible. If you have any senior pups who need extra care or attention, I have plenty of experience caring for senior dogs, as well as puppies. I look forward to meeting you and offering a helping hand to you and your pup! I mostly work from home, which gives me lots of time to play with your pups! I am available most week days and weekends. As long as I have enough notice, I can usually adjust my schedule to meet your needs. My house has a large, fenced backyard with a doggy door for medium dogs. I do allow dogs on furniture after setting some boundaries and limitations. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

About: I had my own dog growing up that I was responsible for. Since moving out from my parent's home, I've cared for other family and friends dogs. I'm a new momma and looking to get myself out of the house, taking my little ones on adventures. I love walking and love dogs, and want my kids to be comfortable around dogs Since beginning this endeavor, it has helped both my kids to love dogs as well. We began a new adventure of dog fostering and are in the process of adopting him, so if needing boarding, it is important for a meet and greet to make sure the dogs get along. I would need to use your supplies-dog toys, treats, leashes, etc. But your dog would get their exercise/play time done during the day with me.

As for walking, I always strive to make sure your four legged friend has their share of exercise and fresh air. My time is currently open to weekdays from 6 am to 11 pm. I’m happy to check on your pets multiple times a day to keep up with their schedules, and am happy to follow plans as needed. I do my best to follow any instructions provided for your pet. I’m happy to play, take pets outside into yards or for walks in the neighborhood to get their energy out, feed them on their schedules, and visit multiple times a day to keep your pet happy and entertained. I have a preference for crate trained dogs, but for those more well-behaved, I have no qualms. As for cats, I’m happy to keep quiet and leave them to their own pace, letting myself be available to them while not invading their space.
