“Alton, Valerie, and their whole family always take such good care of Indy and are great with communication and sending photos throughout each stay. We highly recommend them!”

“Emily is the sweetest. My babies just love her home. Benny had his first experience away from us and he seemed so happy and content. Thank you so much ❤️”
“Eileen and Jeff took great care of my shy dog. Opie seemed comfortable and happy staying with them, and they sent photos regularly so I could see for myself. Communication was clear and easy; overall a great experience.”

“Sarah did a wonderful job taking care of our dog. Her house is nice and clean and she was very thoughtful in all aspects of care. We will definitely use her again.”

“Amanda was fantastic! Lucy was very well taken care of and we received picture texts while we were away for the Thanksgiving weekend. She had Amanda’s dog Tibbers to play with and they went for a walk when weather permitted. We will definitely use Amanda again!”

“Cheryl took amazing care of our two greyhounds when we had to leave town on short notice for a funeral. She sent us pictures and videos of them interacting with the other dogs as well as her two adorable grandkids. Seeing our boys comfortable and being loved made our trip so much easier. Thank you, Cheryl!”

“We are repeat customers with Leslie and have been so happy with our experience every time. She takes our dog to the dog park most mornings and she sends pictures and updates.”

“Jack clearly felt right at home. It’s reassuring to see pics of your pet having fun and Tiana takes care of him amazingly well. I’d use them again in a heartbeat.”
“We dropped off Ziggy for the weekend after a visit to the vet where we left with four medications, a cone and a bloody paw. Philip didn't flinch. (He was two minutes from where I was visiting my mom, so we could have been there if anything had come up.) We didn't get a lot of updates, but we came back to a dog who seemed happy, and better yet, hadn't been chewing on his paw. Highly recommend.”

“Heather was amazing. She is an excellent communicator and gave regular updates. After a week, my dog had clearly bonded with her so I will definitely look to use her in the future.”

“Georgia was the best! She took excellent care of my girls. She was quick to respond with any of my initial questions and was very easy to talk to and explain some of the quirks my girls can have. Great communication (and pics) of my girls the whole time I was away. My girls came home happy and tuckered out from playing with her pups, getting lots of snuggles, and running around in her big beautiful yard. I’m so lucky to have found her on short notice to care for my girls while I was away! Truly a gem! Thank you Georgia! I really appreciate you!”

“It was awesome for Dobby and we trust Jennifer. When I first requested she was one of the few who really wanted to know about the dog and that definitely built our hope and we did a video call. During the call, she showed us the place and gave a lot of details about how she takes care of our loved ones. After dropping Dobby off, we were anxious because it was his first time and Jennifer made sure to give us updates (including photos and videos). We only had good experiences boarding with her and would highly recommend her.”

“Michelle and her family did an A++ job watching my high anxiety, high energy puppy who is determined to try to swallow every sock and pinecone without chewing. She came home tired and happy!”

“Anita took great care of my kitten littermates who were away from home for the first time. I would definitely use her again to care for our boys. She was professional, kind and flexible in resolving an error I made when inputting the pick up date/time.”

“Monika was great with Flynn and he got to play with other dogs throughout his entire stay. She provided daily updates and pictures/videos of my goofy little boy.”

“Angela's place is doggie heaven. I could tell by the photos and videos she shared that Rocky was having a nice time. He was bright, happy and energetic when I picked him up. I think he was well cared for on his overnight stay. He will be back again soon! Thank you!”

We came home to a house just as clean as we left it, all of our plants were watered throughtout her stay, and she sent the perfect amount of daily kitty updates. I’ve not used Rover before and she has set the standard super high for me! My one kitty needed medication and she made super she was taken care of and then some. I would recommend her to any and everyone :)”

About: I’ve watched all kinds of dogs from puppies to the oldest of fellas. Some have had strict diets and medications that needed to be taken at specific times. I always make sure to give dogs plenty of exercise especially if they are crate trained, just get them tuckered out before needing to be put away for the night. House rules are always respected as well, your house is just as important as your dog! I am a full time student at SOU as well as an athlete so I will need to work around my class and practice schedule however, I scheduled classes to give me a little morning time and have evenings free! Periodic check-ins Monday-Thursday work best, staying full time at ones house works best Friday-Monday morning. While I can’t take in pets as I live in the dorms at SOU, I can carve out time to come meet the client and pets before the trip if that would give a sense of comfort, learn about the home and such. I am comfortable giving oral medicines to stubborn dogs, I have one myself! I have worked in houses that have cameras and/or pet cameras in and out of the house so I am comfortable with that too!

“Taylor was great! Our shy cat Carl slowly warmed up to her and by the end of the week was coming out for lovin's! Highly recommend Taylor and looking forward to future trips with her as our sitter.”

About: I’ve been taking care of friends, family, and neighbors cats for 10 years now. I enjoy providing care and attention to animals while their owners are away—and alleviating stress for owners!

About: On the outside, I have mastered the art of seeming like I don't care if your cat loves me, but on the inside, I desperately need their love. I am adaptive to your cats needs whether that is being present or actively engaged. I also love a good fur extraction session, if you leave a brush out, I'll take the hint!

“Jordyn did drop-in visits to care for our kitty while we were away for the holidays. She kept us well-informed and made sure our cat was well taken care of! Highly recommend her to anyone needing a reliable and caring sitter!”

About: I’m patient, caring, dependable, reliable and take my dog out on walks every day. I work from home so I will be with your beloved pet at all times. I work from home and have one dog who I walk daily. Most of my time is spent with my dog and if your dog stays with us, they will be with us all day. I do live in an apartment, however, I am active and attentive so I can provide a lot of activity outdoors or spend time with your dog indoors if that’s what they prefer.

“Audrey is a gem! Our two kitties were so very happy and comfortable with her while we were away. She is an excellent communicator and sent lots of photos and videos. We will definitely use her again and again. Also, though we only booked drop-in visits, our home was very tidy and clean. Thank you again Audrey!”

“Ashton and Shelby are responsible, caring and conscientious. They are great at communicating, and showed flexibility when I had a need for an extra visit. Knowing that they were truly caring for my animals helped me have the peace of mind needed to relax and enjoy my trip. I highly recommend them and will not hesitate to hire them again. My cats, rabbits, fish and plants were all well-looked after and I really enjoyed all the photos and updates!”

“I can't say enough good/positive about Melissa. She recently house/cat sat for us for 10 days. Her daily (sometimes 2 🥰) updates with pics were so comforting while we were away (and even with a 9 hour tike difference). Our cats (3 total) are very spoiled & are used to us being home all the time. It was comforting jnowing that she spent most of her time here with them vs other pet siters that just come long enough to feed and leave. We have one cat that is extremely shy/scared of everyone except us & Melissa demonstrated that she understands animals & how best to interact with our sweet but shy girl. She left the house in pristine condition. Laundered the towels & bedding & even remade the bed. Absolutely appreciated! I have a lot (a lot) of houseplants and had my garden veggie plants started & in my grow tent and she took exceptional care of them all. I will definitely hire Melissa again often & as much as she is available for any future trips. Hands down 💯! Thank you again Melissa!”

About: I’m a reliable animal lover who enjoys making sure pets are happy and comfortable while their owners are away. I offer drop-in visits to provide fresh food and water, clean litter box, medications (if needed), and lots of attention. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages after every visit.

“Alyvia was great with our 3 kitties, including our super senior cat. She was very responsive to questions and provided lots of pictures and she left our house super clean. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone else looking for cat/house sitting!”

“Allison did a wonderful job caring for our indoor/outdoor cat and our two rabbits! She even watered our plants and kept an eye on things around the house. I highly recommend her, as she was genuinely caring and attentive to all our pets needs. Thank you very much! :)”

“Natasha is wonderful! We were able to enjoy our trip knowing our fur babies were in great hands. Our kitties are pretty shy but Natasha went above and beyond to make sure she was able to get eyes on them, and took great care of them. I’ll definitely be booking her the next time I need a sitter.”

About: As a devoted mom to three fur babies, I understand the daily commitment pets need and I treat every cat (or dog) like part of my own family. With cats, I’ve done house drop-in visits where I make sure they have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, playtime, and plenty of affection so they stay happy and secure while their family is away. I’m highly reliable, communicative, and truly enjoy giving pets the individual attention they deserve.

“Sarah is THE BEST dog sitter! Kind, considerate, detail oriented, great communicator. She took care of my pup Piper during the day for a few days while I was in town to watch a volleyball tournament, and I couldn't be happier with how it worked out. I really appreciated the status update text messages that Sarah sent from time to time, and it was abundantly clear from the pics she shared that Piper was totally comfortable and really enjoying her time there. Also -- a big shout out to Sarah's pup, Sully, for sharing his home and his mom with Piper for a few days! He was a great host and he & Piper got along very well. I would hire Sarah again in a heartbeat if/when we visit Spokane again!”

“I had an exceptional experience with Amanda and Justin. My wife and I were visiting Spokane for three days during a heatwave, and needed daycare for Casey. They did a terrific job, especially introducing Casey to their larger dogs and communicating via text and the Rover app. We felt completely comfortable leaving Casey in their very capable hands.”

“Incredibly easy to coordinate with, and flexible with my changing plans. I was happy to hear Wilson had company during his stay and enjoyed getting a picture of him out on a walk with Irene. Would book again!”

“Audrey did a great job with Tommy, even after he decided not to eat during her first day with him. (It’s not unusual behavior on his part.) She did a great job in keeping us informed and working through food options, one of which eventually worked. She was calm under pressure.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole adult life, starting with a German Shorthaired Pointer, Weimaraner, and I currently care for three high-energy dogs at home - two Vizslas and one Weimaraner. This lifetime of hands-on experience has taught me so much about fur babies and how to meet the needs of both young and senior dogs, create a safe environment, and loving routines with plenty of exercise and attention. I’m reliable and consistent—your dog will get the same attentive care every time, whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or quiet companionship. You can trust I’ll treat your pup like family. Caring for my three fur babies — Hank (Weimaraner), Chase (Vizsla), and Daphne (Vizsla) — is one of the most loving and rewarding parts of my everyday life. They’re fully integrated into my daily routine, where I make sure they get plenty of affection, playtime, treats, and mental stimulation. Whether it’s tossing toys in the yard, going on adventures together, or simply snuggling on the couch after a busy day, I pour a lot of love into keeping them happy, healthy, and well-cared for. I treat every dog like one of my own—keep them safe, backyard play, outdoor time, and lots of cuddles and attention. I’ll follow your instructions so your pup feels right at home.
“Janel is amazing!! I booked with her last minute and she was so understanding and flexible despite my schedule. Willow enjoys her walks and play time midday. I’m so glad I found Janel :)”

About: I had a Pharaoh hound growing up for 15 years and lost her to cancer 4 years ago. I love going on walks, and I'm looking for some new companions to join me! I just got my bachelors degree in Zoology, and I've always been passionate about working with animals throughout my life. I also have 7 years of experience as a house and pet sitter and about 100 hours of volunteer work at the Spokanimals shelter. My schedule is wide open for the summer while I'm in town! Just reach out and let me know, any day, any time, and I will be there! I will respect the rules you have in place for your pet at your home and at mine. I will take the pups on walks at least once a day and let them go outside to potty every hour or as needed. I am happy to brush hair if you supply the tools. I promise to keep your puppy happy to the best of my abilities!
About: I have lots of time to fill, I will give your animals my full attention and lots of love! I can do anything from long walks and some training to giving medications and lots of cuddles! I have a fenced in 7 acre property, trees, grass, lots of space to run around! I can be as present or not as needed!
“Danielle has been fabulous. She was available last minute when I was in need on a Sunday right before an unexpectedly busy week. She responded within 15mins to my request, made time for a meet and greet same day, and was very communicative. She has been lovely with both dogs, capable of walking both at the same time, giving lots of attention, love, treats, and updates each time. I will happily use her services again. Highly recommend. Thank you for being amazing, Danielle.”

“Jenn has been really great. I have grown to rely and depend her, very lucky for me. She is dependable trustworthy, kind and dog knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend her for care of any animal.”

About: Took care of a natural history museum’s (Sternberg natural history museum) animals for a year. Did the same at a zoo (Rolling Hills Zoo) for 6 years. Studying wildlife biology / pre vet science with the end goal of being a wildlife veterinarian. I’ve personally owned pets all my life including many dogs, cats, fish, insects and lizards. Additionally I've been on Rover for years as a teen but my mother owned the account (if you’d like proof of that I can give my mothers account to see my prior experience) but I did all the sitting. Now that I’m an adult in college I plan on continuing it myself. During this summer I am just taking one summer online course and doing some volunteer odd jobs so I am extremely flexible and available. Whenever you prefer at whatever frequency you want I most likely can make it work. While I don’t offer pets in my home I am very familiar with managing pets in others homes. Just tell me what you and the pet is comfortable with and I will follow it. Additionally any messes that may happen I will make sure to clean throughly. My #1 priority is your pet’s health, mental and physical. However the very next priority is your home. When house sitting I’m more than aware of the need to be respectful of the space. I will do my best to leave it just as I found it, or even cleaner.

About: Grew up with big dogs and 5 cats! Been the petsitter for my family and friends for years. I've looked after a litter of newborn mini Aussie puppies and have kept up dog training & routines while my sisters were traveling. From very energetic dogs to high-needs senior dogs--I've taken care of them all! I have no allergies, and mess doesn't bother me one bit. I normally teach English Composition at the local university, but I've got nothing to teach this summer! I'm writing a novel and would LOVE a reason to step away from the keyboard--dog walking, house sitting, playing. I'm very flexible. I am a very polite guest and follow written instructions to the letter. If I am housesitting, my goal is to always leave homes as I found them. Dishes done, trash taken out, floors swept, and plants watered!
About: I can’t offer any services after August! I will be moving out for college :) I’ve had dogs of my own since I was a kid. I currently have three dogs, one being a chihuahua puppy, so you can imagine the trouble they all get in. I also petsit for my neighbors two dogs and cat often! I’m currently finishing up high school in my senior year, and I’m enrolled in Running Start at Eastern Washington University, so I have a very flexible schedule. I only have one early class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and two day classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Quality time with pets is so important! Making sure hyper dogs get exercise and enrichment is a basic goal while petsitting. I also water plants, clean up, and feed pets, along with taking them on walks when requested.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats all my life. I’m a huge animal lover, and have experience with cats, dogs, horses, fish, parrots, and chickens. I moved from Virginia to Washington to attend grad school at Eastern Washington University. In California, I was a hospice caretaker for a 21 year old dog with cancer. I know how to give medicine as well as cook for your pet’s special dietary needs if necessary. I’m a super active person so I don’t mind going on long walks with your dog. I enjoy the exercise! I have experience with a wide range of breeds and even have experience with coyotes! I can give cats insulin as well. Whatever your pet needs, I can provide. I teach one English comp course Mon-Fri from 9am to 9:50am. I have class on Tuesday night from 5:30 to about 9:30 and two short classes Friday afternoon so most days are pretty wide open for pet care. I also get every holiday off. Unfortunately I just moved into a small apartment that doesn’t allow pets, but I’m happy to pet sit at your home and give your pet a safe environment to play in.

About: I have been a dog house sitter for some family friends for over the course of a year. I connect instantly with dogs, they feel they can trust me. I have no professional training experience but am very patient with the dogs when necessary. I am currently in between jobs so am very flexible at the moment. Looking to get part or full time work soon. Prefer mornings and afternoons. Keep them mostly inside, as I do not have a fenced yard. Take them on daily walks. House is roomy to play around. Not looking for boarding.
About: I’ve been involved in taking care of animals as a veterinary assistant for almost 10 years. I am not only comfortable caring for dogs and cats, but exotic pets as well. I live in a house with a fenced back yard. There are plenty of places to take your pet for a walk around my house or they can relax on my couch like royalty- whichever suits them best. I will follow owner instructions carefully and make sure your pet has the best stay with me! If I’m checking in on them or going for a walk I’ll be sure to keep it exciting and stimulating so they come home dog tired. I am confident with all types of animals and look forward to caring for yours. Pet care is my full time job! I take caring for everyone’s animals and their emotional wellbeing very seriously. I do have kids ages 8 and 4 so I am balancing motherhood/working but it is something I am passionate about. I have a fully fenced back yard and kennels if needed for more security. As a vet assistant for 10 years I am also well versed in emergency aid as well as precautions to take when walking an animal. Feel free to ask me any question so I can help you feel confident in leaving your pet’s care in my hands.
About: As a young kid, my family bred Saint Bernards. By all means, I am from a "dog family." I grew up walking, feeding, cleaning stalls, etc. dogs much larger than me. Eventually and gradually we would adopt several mixed-breed dogs and other strays who we loved just as much as our Saints. On top of this, however, I was also proud to be responsible for a beautiful, sassy cat, from a younger kitty to her golden years. Moreover, some friends and I spent time trapping feral cats in West Central Spokane, specifically around where we lived and worked, then taking them to PetSavers for spay/neutering, and working to rehome them. I enjoy "working" with all kinds of dogs and cats. This includes seniors, those with health conditions, or those who simply benefit from extra patience and extra attention. You may already see me walking dogs in Cheney and Airway Heights. I would be glad to get to know your pet family and learn what everyone likes best and wants most. I currently work as a "hand" maintaining a lower-maintenance property in the greater Spokane County. This arrangement is semi-formal and provides ample flexibility in my schedule to meet the needs of your pet family. Each home and family is different, and expresses their love for the pet family in different ways. I am glad to meet your pet family where you are all at, and give us an opportunity to get to know each other. I talk low and slow by default, but can easily match the energy of your pet family. Dogs will enjoy their walks and time together and return a happy camper :-) Cats will have a dedicated eye on them and if your cat is a playful or affectionate type, their need to socialize will be met. I can usually coax most shy cats into some socializing or play time, and cats who are "protective" of one thing or another, and maybe not as friendly, still will also get ample care and attention.
“Ryan is incredibly intentional and can read dogs very well. He is patient and sweet with our pups -- one of which has loads of anxiety. He is reassuring (with me and the dogs) and takes great care of the pups. Your animals are safe and well cared for with him.”

“Cheryl took amazing care of our two greyhounds when we had to leave town on short notice for a funeral.

“Michelle and her family did an A++ job watching my high anxiety, high energy puppy who is determined to try to swallow every sock and pinecone without chewing. She came home tired and happy!”

“Angela's place is doggie heaven. I could tell by the photos and videos she shared that Rocky was having a nice time. He was bright, happy and energetic when I picked him up. I think he was well cared for on his overnight stay. He will be back again soon! Thank you!”
“Isabelle did a great job with Simon! She is very knowledgeable about animals and asked many questions about how to make Simon comfortable while he was with her. I'd love to board him with her again.”

“My senior girl loved Janiel's place. Beautiful yard, ball throwing, and Janiel made sure to keep me updated with pics. So glad I found such a great place for Scout. She tells me she hopes to visit again.”

“Mary & Peter were amazing sitters for our pup Ricky. They sent us pictures each day, allowing us to share in his daily activities while we were away. When we needed to switch our pick up time they was very accommodating. We will definitely use them again & recommend them to anyone looking for sitters that treat your pup like family!”

“Julie & Ryan were so great with my Lucy girl, they sent lots of pictures and update the whole time we were away. Lucy felt right at home immediately upon arriving for our meet & greet, which made me very at ease leaving her with them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter!!”
“This is the second time Julia has watched our hyper pup and it went just has great as the first time. I fully trust Julia to make the best decisions to keep my pup safe and comfortable while I am out of town. My dog always comes back happy and tired with no newly learned negative behaviors. Thank you, Julia!”

“Nelia was fabulous! She was flexible when my schedule changed and Gary had a great time. She has a perfect setup for the dogs at her house. Felt very comfortable leaving Gary.”

“Danelle was wonderful! This was my second time having my pup stay with her and she was fantastic. Danelle goes above and beyond to communicate with the owners and definitely made my dog feel at home and comfortable. I highly recommend her and will definitely go to her first for future dog sitting needs.”
