“Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. She will be my first contact should I need to board my babies again. Thank you, Samantha for making a stressful situation the easiest it could have been, and for taking such good care of my girls.”

About: I have had dogs since I was a little girl. I used to love running around with my German Shepherd named Rambo. I currently have 2 little dogs and I love them so much! I am a stay at home mom. My kids are older though. I have plenty of time for new animal friends! I love taking walks and snuggling with animals! I have cats that will stay upstairs if your dog visits. I also have 2 very friendly girls that can play with your dog. There is a big park next to my house that has plenty of room to run!

“Alexandra has proved herself to be a great cat-sitter. She followed our cat care instructions very well. She spent time with them in the evening/night when they get the most lonely(they sleep most of the day), gave them wet food on schedule, checked their water fountains, dry food dispensers and litter robot to make sure they were in order, and cleaned up after Boo when he puked. When we came home, the cats seemed emotionally very well and cared for. I could tell she had spent the right amount of time with them and given them enough attention, because they were not upset, stressed or angry at me for leaving them as they would be if they had not been attended to sufficiently. Alexandra was also very kind to our apartment while she was over, leaving it very clean. Best of all, she was easy to communicate with while we were away. I definitely recommend her as a pet sitter!”

About: I’ve been fostering pets for SCRAPs for the past two years, but having those little squirts living at my house 2-3 weeks at a time was getting to be a bit much! I’m mostly interested in doing this so I can have more dog time with a little less responsibility, haha! My forever babies are a black cat named Jet and a border collie named Zo, both rescues. The kitten will pretty much stay out of the way of the dogs (she thinks she’s too good...hah!) but my dog is the friendliest girl. She’s high energy, so I’m quite used to long walks and games of fetch. If your dog seems tireless, I have plenty of experience there! If you have any questions, please let me know!

About: We have dogs, snakes, and at rehabilitating a baby squirrel! We have kept many different pets for the past 10 years and love caring for all animals! Even the grouchy ones 😊 Our dogs eat at 12:30 and at 6:30 each day with frequent trips outside. They are friendly and we keep them trained to eat only out of their own bowls. Pet care is daily life in our home (with my spouse) and we both take pride in our relationships with animals I will frequently check for assent amongst pets to ensure safety and wellbeing. If animals need to be separated, we live in our finished basement and work upstairs, making it easy to both separate and engage with all the animals frequently. Any instructions will be religiously followed. I am getting my masters in behavior analysis so I am ALWAYS aware of the dynamics of our animals and animal guests!

About: I have had a dog since I was 5 and as I got older my responsibilities for pet care increased. I love all dogs as my own and have experience watching other dogs overnight. I am currently working part time in the afternoon. Roughly 3-4 hours a day. Before work I will ensure your dog’s needs are meet with bathroom breaks, breakfast and exercise. After work I am fully their for your furry friend is that means more exercise or companionship. During work your pet is free to roam my house if they are trained or I have a crate they can use. I have a fenced yard and 3 furry friends to keep your fur baby company. We have the ability to crate if desired. I will send daily updates and will exercise at least once a day.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats all my life. I’m a huge animal lover, and have experience with cats, dogs, horses, fish, parrots, and chickens. I moved from Virginia to Washington to attend grad school at Eastern Washington University. In California, I was a hospice caretaker for a 21 year old dog with cancer. I can be with your pet most of the day, but need to be gone when I teach. About: Hello! I'm Taylor! My husband and I moved here from the Midwest a couple years ago and loved it so much we bought our first home! We brought our tuxedo cat, Benedict Mongoose "Goose" Cumberbatch, and our 15-year-old (but you wouldn't know it except he only has 10 teeth) puggle, Chuck, along for the ride, and they cannot wait to make friends with your fur babies!! My love for animals is as old as I am. I grew up with sibling pairs of Great Danes, Shih Tzus, Rot/Lab mixes, and German Shepherds. I started caring for and riding horses at 10, helping at my Aunt Lucy's Paso Fino ranch, later volunteering my time caring/mucking for therapy horses at a nonprofit working with disabled children and adults through riding. I carried my love of animals through every stage of life. But I also know how stressful it can be to travel without (or with) our furry friends so my goal, no matter the situation, is to remove as much of that stress from both you and your pets so that you can focus on the big stuff. About: As someone who works online, my hours are completely flexible and can be done most anywhere. I use this to my advantage as a pet-lover. About: As a young kid, my family bred Saint Bernards. By all means, I am from a "dog family." I grew up walking, feeding, cleaning stalls, etc. dogs much larger than me. Eventually and gradually we would adopt several mixed-breed dogs and other strays who we loved just as much as our Saints. On top of this, however, I was also proud to be responsible for a beautiful, sassy cat, from a younger kitty to her golden years. Moreover, some friends and I spent time trapping feral cats in West Central Spokane, specifically around where we lived and worked, then taking them to PetSavers for spay/neutering, and working to rehome them. I enjoy "working" with all kinds of dogs and cats. This includes seniors, those with health conditions, or those who simply benefit from extra patience and extra attention. You may already see me walking dogs in Cheney and Airway Heights. I would be glad to get to know your pet family and learn what everyone likes best and wants most. I currently work as a "hand" maintaining a lower-maintenance property in the greater Spokane County. This arrangement is semi-formal and provides ample flexibility in my schedule to meet the needs of your pet family. Each home and family is different, and expresses their love for the pet family in different ways. I am glad to meet your pet family where you are all at, and give us an opportunity to get to know each other. I talk low and slow by default, but can easily match the energy of your pet family. Dogs will enjoy their walks and time together and return a happy camper :-) Cats will have a dedicated eye on them and if your cat is a playful or affectionate type, their need to socialize will be met. I can usually coax most shy cats into some socializing or play time, and cats who are "protective" of one thing or another, and maybe not as friendly, still will also get ample care and attention.
About: Animal lover since I was little, I’ve had personal and professional experience caring for a wide range of animals. From reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, dogs, and my favorite-cats, I’ve seen it all. Aspiring to work in the veterinary world, I will always treat your fur(or scale!) friends as my own. Spending time with animals is truly one of my favorite things to do and seeing them happy and healthy is always my number one goal! I’m currently working a weekend position while trying to build pet care into my more substantial work. I am available quite frequently throughout the week, and I’m available on the weekends days, it will just be outside of whatever shift I’m working. Going on walks is something I try to fit into my personal life every day, being able to walk with your pups or checking on other animals is just an added bonus! My biggest thing is being aware. Animals, though adorable, aren’t the smartest. I try to be proactive by making sure the areas I’m in are always well-kept and safe for the animals. My second priority is keeping them on as much of their routine as they can, making your absence a little more manageable. I always like to make sure to spend quality time with everyone, do any consistent rituals that they have, and just stay consistent so not only are they safe, but they’re feeling the love.
About: Grew up with big dogs and 5 cats! Been the petsitter for my family and friends for years. I've looked after a litter of newborn mini Aussie puppies and have kept up dog training & routines while my sisters were traveling. From very energetic dogs to high-needs senior dogs--I've taken care of them all! I have no allergies, and mess doesn't bother me one bit. I normally teach English Composition at the local university, but I've got nothing to teach this summer! I'm writing a novel and would LOVE a reason to step away from the keyboard--dog walking, house sitting, playing. I'm very flexible. I am a very polite guest and follow written instructions to the letter. If I am housesitting, my goal is to always leave homes as I found them. Dishes done, trash taken out, floors swept, and plants watered!

About: I have had dogs since I was a little girl. I used to love running around with my German Shepherd named Rambo. I currently have 2 little dogs and I love them so much! I am a stay at home mom. My kids are older though. I have plenty of time for new animal friends! I love taking walks and snuggling with animals! I have cats that will stay upstairs if your dog visits. I also have 2 very friendly girls that can play with your dog. There is a big park next to my house that has plenty of room to run!

“Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. She will be my first contact should I need to board my babies again. Thank you, Samantha for making a stressful situation the easiest it could have been, and for taking such good care of my girls.”

I’m so happy to see her rolling in the dirt and playing now. This means the world!!!
