I am currently working part time in the afternoon. Roughly 3-4 hours a day. Before work I will ensure your dog’s needs are meet with bathroom breaks, breakfast and exercise. After work I am fully their for your furry friend is that means more exercise or companionship. During work your pet is free to roam my house if they are trained or I have a crate they can use. I have a fenced yard and 3 furry friends to keep your fur baby company. We have the ability to crate if desired. I will send daily updates and will exercise at least once a day.

About: I adore all breeds and sizes. I've cared for a dog most every year of my life, whether I was a student, working, vacationing, or just existing. Those years have trained me to read them well as far as knowing what they are communicating at any given time. I find it difficult to be without a furry friend. However, I'm retired and thinking of traveling in the future, so thought this Rover program would give me my "dog fix" until I'm ready to start my traveling. I've had babies, adults, and teens when it comes to dogs, and many varieties; Border Collies, German Shepherds, Irish Setters, Poodles, Golden Retrievers, Old English Sheepdogs, Terriers, and have trained and loved them all! I'm retired but do go to a recreational center daily to work out and swim, so I'm available for dog sitting, playing, and walking M-F after 1PM. And weekends after noon. I have a fenced yard partly in sun and partly in shade. I also have a dog door from inside the house out to the yard, so your dog can go outside anytime the urge hits. I'm also within 1 mile of 3 parks and the Finch Arboretum.

About: I've owned and cared for dogs and other animals my whole life. More recently in the past five years or so, I've dog sat for 10+ friends for extended stays without a hitch, ranging from three very yappy adult chihuahuas to inexperienced puppies of all sizes. I've also been responsible for looking after a whole farm's worth of animals, including chickens, alpaca, goats, donkeys, and more. I think my greatest assets as a sitter are my empathy for the animals while staying calmly in control. I work full-time from home, so my schedule is plenty flexible to give lots of love and several walks or dog park trips a day. Some week nights are available as well as weekends, dependent on other scheduling conflicts. I have a fenced yard with two pups and two cats (who mostly keep to themselves) to keep them company. I also have close access to the centennial trail for walks as well as a few local dog parks. I have crates available for your dog if needed as well.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats all my life. I’m a huge animal lover, and have experience with cats, dogs, horses, fish, parrots, and chickens. I moved from Virginia to Washington to attend grad school at Eastern Washington University. In California, I was a hospice caretaker for a 21 year old dog with cancer. I teach one English comp course Mon-Fri from 9am to 9:50am. Unfortunately I just moved into a small apartment that doesn’t allow pets, but I’m happy to pet sit at your home and give your pet a safe environment to play in.

About: As a young kid, my family bred Saint Bernards. By all means, I am from a "dog family." I grew up walking, feeding, cleaning stalls, etc. dogs much larger than me. I am glad to meet your pet family where you are all at, and give us an opportunity to get to know each other. I talk low and slow by default, but can easily match the energy of your pet family. Dogs will enjoy their walks and time together and return a happy camper :-) Cats will have a dedicated eye on them and if your cat is a playful or affectionate type, their need to socialize will be met. I can usually coax most shy cats into some socializing or play time, and cats who are "protective" of one thing or another, and maybe not as friendly, still will also get ample care and attention.

I'm also more than willing to accommodate your household needs, such as getting the mail or taking care of trash/recycling. I am currently working full-time as a Medical Assistant Monday-Thursday and will primarily have availability Friday-Sunday. However, I may be able to check up on your pet before/after work depending on your location! Nothing would make me happier than to give your fuzzy friend all the walks, brushes, attention, and time they need! Whether it's taking Marmaduke for a long hike or taking Missy to the groomers, it would make my day to make your dog's day! I also have experience with cats, chickens, and reptiles/amphibians and freshwater aquariums. I'm generally free to walk or visit between 10am and 3pm, and evenings after 7pm, 7 days a week! If your dog likes company, I'd be happy to introduce my Scottish Terrier, Yoshi! Otherwise, one-on-one time is always welcome. As a dog owner and friend myself, I understand the importance of safe and responsible pet care. This means always using proper leash/collar safety, having plenty of water on hand during walks and being mindful of weather and temperature, always bagging messes, and most importantly, always following your instructions as to how to best care for your best friend. While conducting home visits, it is ways my highest priority to be respectful and mindful, always ensuring cleanliness, safety, and security.
About: I have lots of time to fill, I will give your animals my full attention and lots of love! I can do anything from long walks and some training to giving medications and lots of cuddles! I am currently recovering from a sports injury and looking to fill my rehab time with lots of animals and getting out a bit! Home from school for the summer!
