“Brittany is amazing! For one, she is very flexible and has been a life saver with squeezing in last minute walks for my dog, Frosty 🐾 but most importantly I can tell Frosty genuinely has a great time with Brittany. Nothing better than receiving photo updates of Frosty and seeing that he is happy and comfortable around Brittany 😊”

“Payton is our regular dog walker! She has excellent communication, is always on-time, and is extremely flexible. Neko loves her daily walks with Payton and we wouldn’t be able to do without her.”
“Always can trust Whitney to check on my dog while I’m away! She has walked and visited my dog a few times and is great at following instructions. My dog is always happy to see her.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years and understand that every dog has their own unique personality and needs. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone who will treat your pet with the same love and care you do. I have experience with daily walks, feeding, playtime, administering routines, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and keeping pet parents updated with photos and messages throughout each visit. Caring for my own dog has also taught me patience, consistency, and how to recognize when a dog needs extra space or a calmer approach. My goal is always to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. My availability is flexible, and I’m happy to accommodate your pup’s preferred walking times, whether they need morning exercise, midday breaks, or evening strolls. As a dog mom, I know how important it is to trust someone with your pup. I provide patient, attentive walks focused on safety and happiness.
About: I am returning to Rover after a long hiatus while pursuing my PhD. Before my beloved Stella (black pitty) passed away, we had a wonderful time dog-sitting for clients. After many years of grief and a very, very busy life in my doctoral program, I have another doggy companion, Bruce. We enjoy working from home together and are excited to care for your pets! Training my boxer, Bruce, has been such a rewarding experience, and we hope to have the chance to help others on their journeys to build strong connections between handlers and their beloved companions. Working from home allows me to adapt to different needs and routines to stick as closely as possible with your pets current routine to give them a sense of familiarity. My boxer, Bruce, knows when it is time for his meals, bedtime, or when I need to step out to run errands for the day. I intend to do the same by adapting to your pet's routine so they feel at ease.
About: Dogs have always been family to me—not just pets. I raised my Chihuahua mix, Lala, from the time she was a puppy and helped care for Grace, a rescue pit bull who came to us extremely underweight. Watching Grace transform from skin and bones into a healthy, confident, loving dog taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and compassionate care. I also care for my friend's Chihuahua, Coco, whom I treat like my own. Through caring for Lala, Grace, and Coco, I've learned that every dog has a unique personality. Some are energetic, some are cautious, and others simply want to be close to someone they trust. I take the time to understand each pet and help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My experience includes preparing high-quality meals, providing fresh water, bathing, brushing teeth, monitoring behavior, giving plenty of affection, and making sure each pet receives the individual attention they deserve. I believe the best care goes beyond meeting basic needs—it's about creating an environment where pets feel secure, respected, and genuinely cared for. When your pet is with me, I'll care for them with the same patience, love, and attention I gave Grace, Lala, and Coco. My goal is for you to have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and treated like family. I have a flexible schedule and can provide reliable care throughout the week, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, daycare, overnight boarding, or house sitting, I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and personalized care. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I carefully follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, take dogs on walks, give belly rubs, play with them, clean up after them, and keep a close eye on their behavior and well-being. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, including a rescue pit bull and Chihuahuas. I understand that every pet is unique, and l'll care for yours with patience, love, and respect-just like they're part of my own family
“He watched our dog while we were out of town for four days and he was reliable and communicated with us during each visit. He sent photos of our pup on each visit and also fed and filled his water bowl. We will definitely be booking him again in the future. Thank you, Cedric.”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. I got my first pet at 11, my lovely dog mocha, and have been taking care of animals ever since. I enjoy observing and playing with almost any animal no matter size or species. I have lots of experience taking care of injured animals as more often than not I took in these types of animals growing up and even now! I have spent countless times bottle feeding baby animals as well as performing other duties a parent animal would do. Currently I am unemployed, just looking for something fun and entertaining to do while I job hunt. I plan to continue after getting a job if things work out. I am free most days of the week, the only uncertain day is Tuesday. I have two animals currently, a leopard gecko and a Bombay cat. As two wildly different animals they both have special needs I attend. My cat, jiji, is disabled and requires me to be a bit more careful than you would need to be with a cat. She has no tail but a big attitude! Beam, gecko, is about 5 years old. I adopted him from a friend who would be unable to care for him. Leopard geckos can reach 15 years old and require quite a bit attention as they are sensitive to most things. Beam is also incredibly sassy, despite only being three inches.
“Shang is great! I always feel so comfortable and happy having her pick up and walk my pup! He always has a great time! 🐾 Shang always sends picture and text updates and is very thorough:)”

About: I care for pets the same way I care for children with patience, structure, warmth, and lots of positive energy and I also communicate with owners a similar fashion. I’m currently working part-time looking for more full-time employment I am a graduate student and this summer I’ll have a bit more time on my time on my hands. And they seem like a great way to get some extra steps and make some money and provide a service to others. Like I mentioned earlier, I treat pets just as if I was caring for someone’s children so any additional or instructions needed that will help me get to know your pet better and just making sure that all their needs an owner as possible. Concerns are met would be much appreciated. While in my care, I will definitely care for them as my own trust that your pets are safe with me.
About: While I specialize in cat sitting and absolutely adore caring for feline companions, I'm also happy to help with dog sitting for friendly, WELL-TRAINED SMALL PUPS. As a cat sitter first and foremost, I only accept ONE dog PER booking to ensure I can provide the best possible care and attention. Though I'm newer to dog care, I'm patient, attentive, and eager to provide a safe, calm environment for dogs who are easygoing and enjoy a relaxed routine. I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions and making sure your pup feels comfortable and cared for while you're away. My heart is with cats, but I'm always happy to give well-mannered dogs the love and attention they deserve too! I'm currently open and have a flexible schedule, so I'm happy to work around your pet's unique needs whether it's regular visits or last-minute plans. Your pet's comfort and routine always come first. Because I may be caring for other pets throughout the day, I can't always guarantee an exact visit time. If your requested time is already booked, I'll reach out as soon as possible to see if there's a nearby time that works for you. If your pet needs medication or has a strict schedule, please let me know in your booking request so I can make sure I can accommodate their needs. I do require an in-person meet and greet before confirming any new booking. This helps ensure your pet feels comfortable and we're a great fit! As a proud cat mom, I care for my cats with a lot of love, patience, and attention to detail. Each of them has their own personality and needs, so I make sure their routines are consistent, their environment feels safe, and they get both playtime and quiet comfort. From feeding and litter box cleaning to brushing and cozy cuddle time, I treat them like family because to me, they are.

About: I have taken care of multiple dogs since I was 10 years old, including my own dog as well as many of our neighbors growing up. We lost our dog in 2023, he was 13 years old and had him since 2010. I spent the most time with him, giving him his walks everyday, and had a big contribution in training him when he was younger. I always made sure that each dog that I took care of ate well, always had water, and received plenty of exercise. My mother and I handle the petsitting together. She works from home so she handles boarding and daycare through the daytime. I work a 9-5 job from Monday to Friday. Overall, there is always one of us that is available everyday of the week to handle petsitting duties in our daily and weekly routine. We have a fenced backyard with a lot of open space. We will also allow the dog to come inside if needed. We also have a lot of extra toys in the house for the dog to play with.

I also have a car and can access further if need be! As someone who has seen plenty of emergency cases in my profession, I’m very specially aware within people’s homes of what may be considered safe or unsafe for your baby. Just let me know if I need to keep an extra eye on a specific room or piece of furniture in your room!

About: Animals are a different kind of "special". They love unconditionally. "We can judge the heart of a human, by the treatment to their animals". I am one that is very scepticle on who looks after my animals; because i know that noone will ever take care or love my animals the way my fiance and I do. Animals are my therapy and my love for them will never go unnoticed:) I will love your animals the way I love my own❤ Im currently working from home 3 days a week and in office 2 days a week. Sometimes i work from Monday through Friday, it just depends. Im willing to see what availability is needed and work with your schedule. I have weekends off and can do some drop ins or walks after 5pm. Just send me a message and we can discuss any details of what you're needing:) I am able to do in-home service care, drop in visits and dog walking; I feel as though the pets being in their own enviorment is also more comfortable for them:)
About: I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc. I believe animals come into our lives to make it better and to give us unconditional love. I have trained all my puppies as well as cared for my parents elderly Bullmastiff. I am very sensitive to the needs of pets and can feel when something is wrong. My schedule is open Monday - Sunday, I am a stay at home fur mom and I can not wait to meet your fur baby. All of my cats and dogs are indoor. I believe that is the safest way to keep them healthy and protected. However, if your fur baby is outside I will make sure all gates, doors are closed, locked and secure!
About: After a few years focused on other animal care work, I’m happy to be actively pet sitting again. I recently moved back to Lincoln, and I will begin offering pet care services again beginning August 2026. In addition to years of pet sitting and dog walking, I have worked professionally in many animal care settings, including veterinary, sanctuary, boarding, and rescue for the last seven years. These settings have taught me the importance of prioritizing safety, observation, consistency, and following detailed care protocols accurately. I have years of experience with fearful, anxious, and reactive dogs and understand that trust cannot be rushed. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, use their preferred treats or familiar cues, avoid known triggers, and give them the space or extra reassurance they need to feel comfortable. I also have a special interest in exotic and multi species pet care. I personally have two cats and a leopard gecko and have hands on experience and good foundational husbandry knowledge with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals. I’m open to caring for many species, and willing to learn any of their specific routine and husbandry requirements beforehand. One of my biggest priorities is following instructions carefully and accurately. I know small details can make a big difference, especially with medications, feeding routines, behavioral needs, enclosure care, or pets with specific safety precautions. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your animals in someone else’s care. I provide regular photo updates and clear communication so you know how your pets are doing while you’re away. I work full time in animal care on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Saturdays. On those days, I’m available after work for walks, drop in visits, and overnight stays. I have more flexibility on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays and can often accommodate daytime care on those days as well. I plan my Rover bookings carefully so I can give each pet the time and attention they need. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s normal routine ahead of time and make sure their care schedule is something I can reliably accommodate. For overnight stays, I do my best to keep feeding, medications, walks, and bedtime routines as close to normal as possible. Safety is always my first priority. Before opening doors or gates, I make sure pets are safely secured, and I always double-check that collars, harnesses, leashes, and other gear fit properly before leaving the home. I follow household and care instructions closely, including feeding, medications, walking precautions, behavioral triggers, enclosure care, and any special routines your pet may have. I also pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, bathroom habits, or anything else that may be important to communicate to you. I currently only provide care in my clients’ homes, which also allows pets to stay in the environment and routine they already know.
