“Great job! We had a hard time leaving our recent rescue. They really helped her feel comfortable, gave lots of attention, and gave us frequent updates and pictures. She had a great time there and we were at ease knowing she was being well cared for.”

“First time using this service. Only spoke with Melissa on phone, exchanged emails. But sensed she was good people. She came and render care for my pooch at my house. She took in the paper off the drive. Fed the boy. Sent pics. When I came home house was like I left it and my boy was fat and happy. I would definately work with Melissa again. This was so easy. Who knew?”

“This is the second time Kazue has watched our dog Coco and takes excellent care of her. Coco could be a handful because she loves being held and around people constantly. Kazue updates us with photo and video and we know Coco is well taken care of. Thank you Kazue for the excellent care and peace of mind.”

“Tamara and her home is FANTASTIC!!! My dogs were in heaven the whole stay! I never give reviews at the maximum rating but with Tamara I am. Thanks so much for taking care of Alby and Remi, the daily pictures of them having fun was a wonderful extra touch. The "boys" are my children and seeing them in pictures 3 times a day enjoying themselves was wonderful. I'll be in touch next time I go out of town.”
“Achara was absolutely amazing! She did such a great job communicating how Sammy was doing throughout the day sent pictures just overall a really great experience and I absolutely use her again.”

“Erin is amazing! She’s been our go to sitter. One of our pups has anxiety when it comes to fireworks/firecrackers. She let him sleep in bed with her until he calmed down and fell asleep. We love Erin!”

“I have to say that Michael did a great job taking care of my older (15-yrs-old) mixed poodle who require a lot of gentle attention. The pictures sent to us appears that Pancho at ease, comfortable and happy at Michael's care and would definitely use his service again. Thank you Michael for a great job of taking care of Pancho!!”
“Highly recommend! Oliver was taken on multiple long walks daily and I could tell when I picked him up he enjoyed his time. I received lots of pictures, videos and updates during his stay. Nadezhda and her beautiful family are so kind and helpful and I could tell they all really love dogs. 💙”

“My dog did wonderfully with Kirsten! I've tried a few different boarding options and Kirsten is by far the best! She sent a daily update to let me know how it was going and was very quick and responsive to communication about both pickup and drop off times. I will certainly be using Kirsten again for my boarding needs.”

“Nelly was amazing and took care of both my fur babies so well! The first thing she asked me was if she could give the boys additional treats which of course I said yes!! I was getting daily updates and she even was helping to train my puppy who definitely is still learning how to be a good boy like his older brother. Thank you for evening and next time we go on vacation we will be bringing both dogs back to Nelly!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I dropped off my dog, Sugar, with Cody, and let me explain what “Sugar” is dealing with. Sugar is a tiny white cockapoo whose greatest natural predator is…existing. She’ll hear a leaf land three houses away and immediately file an insurance claim. She has been startled by her own reflection, a pillow, and once spent five minutes suspicious of a decorative pumpkin. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So naturally, I was thinking, “There’s no way this dog survives being around another dog and a cat.” Wrong. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cody has this supernatural calm that apparently extends to terrified fluff balls. His dog was basically like, “Hey, you wanna hang out?” Sugar answered in her native language, which is silent panic. His dog didn’t care. She just kept being cool until Sugar realized nobody was trying to assassinate her. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Then there’s the cat. Most cats look at a nervous little dog like they’re planning a documentary called How Easy Would It Be? Cody’s cat was just…chill. At one point I think the cat judged me more than it judged Sugar. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ By the end of the stay, Sugar was wandering around like she paid the mortgage. She actually looked relaxed. Relaxed! This is a dog who’s emotionally overwhelmed by a ceiling fan. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don’t know what Cody does. Maybe he whispers affirmations. Maybe he has Disney-princess powers. Maybe his dog is running some kind of emotional support operation and the cat is HR. Whatever it is, it works. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I picked Sugar up happy, safe, exhausted from actually having fun instead of rehearsing imaginary disasters. Cody sent updates, took amazing care of her, and somehow convinced the canine equivalent of an anxious Victorian ghost that life isn’t one long emergency. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If your dog is confident, Cody will probably make them happier. If your dog is like Sugar and thinks gravity is a personal attack, Cody is basically a miracle worker. Ten out of ten. Would absolutely trust him again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sugar probably still doesn’t trust the vacuum, but that’s between her and her therapist. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ~Christine and David”

“Geisel sent multiple pictures and videos each day. She seemed to have a true affection for my dog Ollie and I was very comfortable that Ollie was well cared for”

“Leslie was great with our little dog Theo. She kept me updated everyday she was with him & i appreciated how safe and quiet her space is. Theo seemed to really enjoy being there ❤️ we will definitely be using her again if she is available for the future!”

“We usually do drop ins for our kitties but did house sit this time and it worked out amazing! Jazmine is responsible, dependable, and communicative. We get a pretty detailed recap of the day and lots of videos and pictures. Of course the kitties loved it and housesit worked a lot better for my cat that picks at his food throughout the day. We didn’t have to worry at all. Ty Jazmine you are the best!!”

“Shang was amazing. Our dogs loved her. Great updates, photos everyday. We were thrilled with the amazing service she provided. Don’t hesitate. Do yourself and your pets a favor and select Shang. She will be our first choice always.”

“Mindi did such a wonderful job of making sure my cat was well-cared for while I was gone. He gets really anxious when I’m away, and I could tell that she did a great job playing with him because he was calmer than normal once I came back. She also made sure he had water and a clean litter box everyday. I really recommend Mindi if you’re looking for someone to take care of your pet!”

“Elizabeth was AMAZING with my kitten. She shared lots of photos and updates. Lizzie is a very high energy and playful kitten and I know she had the best time with Elizabeth. “Shannon did such an amazing job with my kitties! She was so easy to work with, sent such cute photos, and kept me in the loop on everything the cats were doing. 10/10 would hire her again.”

“Jessica was so friendly, kind, and passionate about animals. She went above and beyond our expectations. For example, she took the trash out on the last check in visit so that we would come home to a clean-smelling house. She wrote us amazing summaries of her visits with our kitty - reading them filled me with joy and made me feel better about being away from our pet. She made toys for our cat out of paper, which helped us discover Zelda’s love of paper balls! We will reach out to Jessica for all of our future pet needs.”
“Jazmin was so amazing!!! Truly incredible person with so much care for my sweet girl! Took her time coming to meet her beforehand and even fed a churu. I felt immediately comfortable with leaving the keys with her knowing she would be taking great care of her! No hesitation to book you again Jazmin and recommend you to everyone. Thank you!!”

“So happy I had Erin check in on my two cats while we were gone for the long weekend. I loved receiving the visit updates and photos. Erin is very reliable and great with communication. Highly recommend booking her!”

“Sarah was great! She kept me updated on my girls, and asked plenty of questions if she wasn’t sure, which was great, because then I knew she wanted to make sure things were handled appropriately and taken care of and I didn’t need to worry. I will DEFINITELY be rebooking with her! Thank you, Sarah, for giving us peace of mind!!”

“Markita was available with only a one day notice following scheduling problems with my previous cat sitter. This allowed me to continue my trip to the east coast. Her care of my cats while I was out of town, was exceptional. Markita is kind, conscientious, and reliable. I would highly recommend her.”

“Brian is wonderful. My dogs love him. He gave them walks and sweet attention including wiping their little paws after walks. He was communicative throughout. I appreciate his care for my girls greatly.”

“Mars was very flexible with dates and times. And she did not mind taking care of my mini zoo. I enjoyed Mars sweet personality and understanding of the many components to our trip. Mars was able to show up on time and take care of the cats. I enjoyed the pictures that she sent knowing that my cats were well taken care of. Thank you, Mars.”

“Jessica took such great care of my cats during repeated visits for the week I was not home. By the end of the week my cats wanted to follow her home :) She was especially patient with play time with my higher energy orange kitty boy and keeping my place so clean!!! “Richard was the perfect playmate for my active young dog. They went for walks and played together all day. Communication was very easy, clear, and frequent. Richard and his wife are both very kind and flexible with my schedule. Im sure my Sophie will look forward to spending the day with them again soon.”

“We are so glad we chose Alexandra to watch our puppy. She was awesome with our 6 month old puppy Rooney. She walked him and sent us pictures of his day. Her dogs got along great with ours and at the end of the day our pup was tired out. Which was perfect for us since we were at a meeting all day. Very trustworthy and kind. If we need care in the future we would definitely choose Alex for the job.”

Thanks Achara for your care with the pups and I can already tell they are looking forward to going back!”

“Cedric was amazing!!! Hands down the best doggy care one could ask for. He consistently kept me updated about what they had done for the day. Thank you again Cedric!!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Epic Doggie Adventure with Tammie – A Five-Star Tale of Tail-Wagging Joy In a world where trustworthy dog sitters are as rare as a unicorn at a dog park, one woman stands above the rest. Her name… is Tammie. Her mission… to turn ordinary dog-sitting into extraordinary canine adventures. And lucky for us, my sweet Sugar got to be the star. Sugar—my spunky, snow-white cockapoo with the heart of a lioness—was welcomed into Tammie’s home like royalty. Not only did she find a second family, she found a whole pack. Tammie's four dogs became her instant crew. The kind of squad you’d want backing you up on a Pixar-style rescue mission. But this isn’t just about tail wags and playtime. It’s about love. Tammie didn’t just watch Sugar—she cared for her. She cleaned Sugar’s eyes gently with a warm cloth while petting her. She let her hang out with her sweet kids. She gave me a full “report card” so detailed, it felt like a scene straight out of a Wes Anderson film: 6 pees. 1 poop. 8 water breaks. That’s dedication. That’s data. That’s love. Tammie gets what it means to be a dog parent. She lives it—traveling with her own four pups, creating a home that feels more like a dog-friendly dreamscape than just another house. She’s not just a sitter. She’s a director of happiness, orchestrating a beautiful symphony of barks, belly rubs, and tail wags. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, craft their stay into a heartwarming mini-movie, and send them home with a sparkle in their eyes… look no further. Sugar can’t wait for the sequel. 🐾”

“Wonderful experience and loved all the photos and updates!! Manuel took great care of my pup and treated her as his own. Nice fenced in yard and great pup of his own. 10/10 would recommend ?”

I also have extensive experience administering oral medications and carefully following detailed care instructions, so you can feel confident your pet's health and well-being are always my priority. I don't see pets as another booking on my calendar. I see them as family members who deserve patience, kindness, attention, and genuine affection. Every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and understood while their family is away. My goal isn't simply to care for your pet. It's to earn your trust and become someone you can rely on whenever you need dependable, compassionate pet care. Because I work from home and have a flexible schedule, pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Your pet will receive plenty of companionship, supervision, and love throughout the day and won't be left alone for long periods. For added convenience, my home is located about 15 minutes from Sacramento International Airport (SMF), making drop-off and pick-up easy for pet parents traveling for work, vacations, or weekend getaways. My home is designed with pets in mind. I have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore, along with several nearby parks and scenic walking trails that are perfect for daily walks, exercise, and outdoor adventures. Whether your pet enjoys an energetic game of fetch, exploring new scents, or a leisurely stroll, I'll make sure they get the activity, enrichment, and one-on-one attention they need. During every visit or stay, your pet receives much more than the basics. They'll enjoy companionship, playtime, enrichment, exercise, affection, and plenty of individualized attention. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I'll carefully follow their established routine, including feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, favorite activities, bedtime routines, and any special instructions you provide. Above all, I want every pet to feel loved, every home to be respected, and every pet owner to have peace of mind knowing their furry family member is safe, comfortable, and receiving attentive care. I'd love to schedule a Meet & Greet so we can get to know each other, answer any questions you may have, and make sure we're the perfect fit. I look forward to meeting you and welcoming your furry family member with the love, care, and attention they deserve.

“Payton did an excellent job managing my very excited and not at all leash trained 8 month old golden retriever which is not an easy job but helped us get through a time where I could not walk him and he needed extra attention. Payton is a great communicator, punctual, attentive to details and accommodated my dog's needs. I am so grateful for her help and services. She definitely deserves 5 stars!”

“Matthew provided excellent service for our dog the two days I needed support. He offered a public meet and greet prior to his initial services and paid close attention to my dogs needs. Matthew was prepared with treats and carried water and a bowl for my dog during the walks. He even went a few minutes past the walk to ensure our dog could keep a slow pace towards the end. I’m very appreciative of Matthew’s last minute support and hope I can book with him again in the future.”

“Shang is great! I always feel so comfortable and happy having her pick up and walk my pup! He always has a great time! 🐾 Shang always sends picture and text updates and is very thorough:)”

About: Hi there! I’m Mel. I’ve had dogs in my life for over 30 years — growing up with Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Border Collies, and Labs, and later caring for high-energy breeds like Huskies, Malamutes, Pit Bulls, and Dobermans as an adult. I’m comfortable with big dogs, strong pullers, and dogs who need real exercise, but I’m just as happy with a Chihuahua curled up on the couch. I spent 8 years as a nanny, so looking after something that depends on you completely isn’t new to me — it’s second nature. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. I don’t board dogs in my own home, since I have a resident cat (a very opinionated tabby mix), but I’m experienced with cats too, including Maine Coons and other long-haired breeds, if you need a sitter for feline friends as well. I’ve handled the less glamorous parts of the job without blinking: medication schedules, backyard cleanup, even a dog who met a skunk face-first. My standard for every visit is simple — when you get home, your house should look better than when you left it, and your dog should be fed, exercised, and ready to sleep well. I treat your home and your animal the way I’d want mine treated. I’m self-employed, so my schedule is flexible and mostly built around dog care. I’m generally available 8am–6pm on weekdays, with some days running later. In the summer heat, I keep an eye on pavement temperature and adjust walk times so it’s safe on paws — sometimes that means earlier or later in the day rather than midday. Weekends are available with advance scheduling. I’m also happy to do drop-in visits spaced out over the day or across longer periods if that suits your dog’s routine better than a single visit. Since I don’t board dogs in my own home — I have a resident cat — all my care happens in your space, on your dog’s normal turf, which tends to be less stressful for them than an unfamiliar house. I follow whatever routine you set: meals, meds, walks, exercise. I’m comfortable administering medication, cleaning up after accidents or messes, and handling anything that comes up — I’ve dealt with a dog getting skunked, dogs with high energy who need real exercise, and the everyday logistics of keeping a home running while you’re away. My rule for every visit: your house should look better than when you left it, and your dog should be fed, exercised, and settled by the time you get home.
“Marina is so great! She is reliable and she is always on time! We booked with her a couple times and Bentley is always happy and relaxed after spending time with her. I totally would recommend her and book with her again!”

About: I’ve always loved animals, and I found that caring for other people’s beloved pets brings me lots of joy. I grew up caring for neighbors’ pets that included goats, ducks, dogs, cats, ponies and more. A passion of mine is volunteering at animal shelters to provide care to animals in need. I also have a degree in biology, so I have scientific background to support my love of animals. My combination of educational background and natural love for animals makes me a excellent choice when looking for pet care. I know how precious my pets are to me, and I want to provide the kind of care I would expect for my own pets to other owners out there. I know how stressful it can be leaving your pet with someone else, so you can rest easy if I am caring for your fur-babies. I have extensive experience with special needs dogs in particular. My own dog has severe epilepsy, so I am very familiar with proper medication administration. I take additional care and pride in looking after animals with medical needs. I understand the extra stress of finding care for a pet in that situation, and am happy to provide that service. I work remotely from home, so I am completely available for pet care. I have my own dog and 2 cats, though I can be flexible with my own animals’ schedule when it comes to sitting and boarding for others, thanks to my husband. I’m happy to discuss specifics to see what might work best for you. I primarily focus on drop in visits and walks, as I have a high energy dog and 2 cats at home. I also find that most pets are more comfortable and less stressed in their own homes. However, I can discuss boarding and housesitting on a case-by-case basis if that is something you are interested in.
“Amanda and her family are wonderful! My dog is a big boy and they are able to handle him. I can tell he has a great time because he is exhausted when he gets back. I have them walk him twice a week.”

About: Hi! My name is Faith Tupin and I am a substitute Paraeducator in the Davis school district, babysitter and grad school student. I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. I was taught how to do CPR on dogs even though i’ve never had to put my skills to use. I am active and I love long walks. I am also very clean and will make sure your house looks great when I leave. I currently am working part time and am also able to make my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities. I always talk to the owners to ensure that I am following their routine and keeping an eye out for any bad habits the dog may have- chewing on cords, digging by fences. I am aware of what food is toxic to dogs and never leave it out. I avoid other dogs on walks and look out for unknown food on the sidewalks that they may be tempted to eat.

About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, and I truly believe they’re one of the best parts of the world. I was a dog owner for over 10 years, and after losing my sweet girl to cancer, I really missed having furry friends around. That experience reminded me just how much joy and companionship pets bring into our lives. From dogs and cats to fish and hamsters, caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’m a family guy with a comfortable home and a safe, secure environment where your pet can feel relaxed, loved, and right at home. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your furry family member with someone else. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and care. Whether your companion needs walks, drop-in visits, sitting, boarding, or simply some extra love and attention, I’m happy to help. I’ll treat your pet like part of my own family and make their safety, comfort, and happiness my top priorities. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member! 🐾❤️ I work part-time in the evenings and am available during the day to spend time with and care for your pets. While I’m at work, my wife and daughter are home and will be there to care for them. Your pets will always have someone at home with them, so they won’t be left alone. You can have peace of mind knowing your pets will receive care, attention, and companionship around the clock. I have a good-sized, secure backyard where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time, as well as a public walking path right behind my house for those who enjoy stretching their legs and getting some exercise. I love taking dogs for walks—it’s a great way for them to get fresh air, exercise, and enrichment while keeping them happy and comfortable. I always make sure pets are supervised, cared for, and treated like part of the family while they’re in my home.
About: Hi there! I am a recent law school graduate currently studying for the bar exam. In addition to growing up with dogs, I also have experience dealing with reactive dogs. For a time I had a rescue dog, Judge, who struggled with aggression, leash reactivity, and general fear/anxiety. Training with him and learning from him made me extremely educated on dog safety, care, and proper protocols when out on walks to ensure a good time for everyone involved. I recently moved to Sacramento after graduating law school, and would love to walk your dog (and maybe even help with some training) while I am studying for the bar exam. Hope to hear from you! My study schedule for the bar is exam is flexible as it is a self-paced course. I normally go for a walk in the mornings before I start my day, but I am free any time to assist! I have a large SUV that I’m happy to take your dog along in for a little adventure! My favorite daily walks in Sac is along the American River and I’d love to bring a pup along. I am also happy to stay local to wherever you live and wherever your dog is most comfortable.
“Krystal was absolutely wonderful with Max! She walked him mornings and evenings while I was away and sent great updates. Max is a sweet boy, but it always takes a special person to make him feel completely comfortable, and Krystal did just that. She is reliable, caring, and super easy to communicate with. I will definitely be booking her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!”

“Genesis has been amazing with my 9 month Great Pyr mix. Hes a big bundle of energy and his breed is known to be stubborn and independent. She handles all this amazingly taking him on hour long walks. Highly recommend her!”

“Always can trust Whitney to check on my dog while I’m away! She has walked and visited my dog a few times and is great at following instructions. My dog is always happy to see her.”

Throughout Zoey’s stay, Nancy sent frequent updates, photos, and messages so I always knew how she was doing. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Zoey was in such caring and capable hands. I could tell Nancy genuinely cared about her and treated her like one her own.
