About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I currently have two of my own. I’m very familiar with the puppy phase and senior phase! I’ve house sat for two dogs of my own and I like to make sure we get our walks in as well as some cuddle and affection! It’s a treat for myself and them! I’m currently working part time, but that doesn’t mean my schedule isn’t open! I’m here whenever you need me! I pretty much have open availability from Monday-Sunday, especially in the mornings and evenings! Having dogs and cats is something I’m familiar with and comfortable. There isn’t an experience I’ve had where it’s been difficult! I’m a lover of animals I’ve got a huge soft spot for them and I could just give them all the love in the world. I honestly treat them as if they are my very own animals. When it comes to care, you can never be too careful and I truly take that to heart! I’ll do whatever I can to ensure both client and pets are well satisfied!

About: While I specialize in cat sitting and absolutely adore caring for feline companions, I'm also happy to help with dog sitting for friendly, well-trained pups. Though I'm newer to dog care, I'm patient, attentive, and eager to provide a safe, calm environment for dogs who are easygoing and enjoy a relaxed routine. I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions and making sure your pup feels comfortable and cared for while you're away. My heart is with cats, but I'm always happy to give well-mannered dogs the love and attention they deserve too! I'm currently open and flexible with my schedule, so I'm happy to work around your pet's unique needs whether it's regular visits or last-minute plans. Your pet's comfort and routine always come first. As a proud cat mom, I care for my cats with a lot of love, patience, and attention to detail. Each of them has their own personality and needs, so I make sure their routines are consistent, their environment feels safe, and they get both playtime and quiet comfort. From feeding and litter box cleaning to brushing and cozy cuddle time, I treat them like family because to me, they are.

About: I have taken care of both cats and dogs since I was just born. I had one cat and one dog growing up both for 18 years and I currently have one cat that is 6 years old with a minor disability. My roommate has three cats. I have experience with behavior training, feedings, vet, appointment, walks, potty training, and recognizing emergencies that need immediate attention. I make my cats wellbeing a priority. They get a morning and an evening walk as well as the ability to go in and out as they please. They get wet food at the same time every day in the evening and dry food available to them always. They also get treats for behavior training and to better their tricks. I am available to complete any and all services needed to take care of your pet, whether that be in my place of residence or yours.

“I'm so happy to have found Samantha to walk my dog while I'm at work. She responded to my initial request almost immediately and has been very responsive ever since. I needed someone on short notice and Samantha was super accommodating which was a relief. She was great with my dog at the meet and greet and I know she'll be great with her every time! She's wonderful to work with and I'm looking forward to my dog seeing her on a regular basis.”

“Teri, is the best dog sitter, walker and friend! She loves Buddy as much as I do. I could not have selected a better person to care for my dog better! I love Teri!❤️🐾😘”

About: With years of experience in private and public pet boarding, I strive to uphold YOUR standard of love and care for your furry family member(s) while you’re away. While working part time at a daycare, coming home to care for my furry family members is a full time job. Although no two pets are the exact same in their care, I can assist in helping them stick to their regular routines while you’re away. Caring for pets in a clients home will be done in the same manner as they care for them while they are home. I intend to maintain regular boundaries and be consistent with rules that have already been implemented.

About: Hey there! While I’m new to Rover, I’m definitely not new to caring for dogs. I’m a proud dog mom to my sweet girl, Hlub, and I know just how much love, attention, and care our pups need (and deserve!). I treat every dog like family—with patience, playtime, and all the love they need to feel safe and happy. I might not have a list of Rover reviews yet, but I make up for that with genuine care, strong attention to detail, and a huge heart for animals. I’ll follow your dog’s routine exactly, send you lots of updates, and make sure your pup gets all the cuddles, walks, and play they need while you’re away. I’d be honored to earn your trust and your dog’s tail wags! Pet care is a natural part of my daily life because I have a dog of my own—my sweet girl, Lu. Every day revolves around making sure she’s happy, healthy, and loved, whether that’s morning walks, playtime, feeding her on schedule, or just relaxing together. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs, and making them feel safe and cared for is something I do with joy, not obligation. I have the flexibility to include pet care into my routine, and I always plan my days with my dog’s needs in mind—so doing the same for your pup would feel like second nature to me! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my approach is all about making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable—just like they would with you. In my home, I keep a clean, cozy, and pet-friendly space where your dog will get lots of love, playtime, and structure. I stick to their usual routines (like feeding times, walk schedules, and any special instructions) so they feel right at home. I also make sure they have plenty of room to relax and play, and of course—lots of cuddles if they want them! In your home, I’m super respectful of your space and routines. I’ll follow all your instructions closely—whether that’s medication, feeding, crate time, or just how your pup likes to be greeted. I’ll also keep you updated regularly so you always know how your fur baby is doing. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, their comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities! *There’s a trail and pond right nearby so we are always enjoying plenty of walks outside.

“We all appreciate Coco so much! She is so flexible and easy going. She is willing to do what makes our Roxy happy. We left for the weekend and I didn't notice we were low on treats. (I forgot to tell Coco that Roxy gets one after the walk.) Coco is so in tune with dogs that she figured out Roxy was missing something, and what it was! She asked to bring some extras over so that Roxy would be sure to be happy for the day. Treats are just little extras, and not necessary, but it was SOOO SWEET that Coco wanted Roxy to be happy. You're the BEST!”

About: I am a licensed RVT and CPR certified. I have been in the field about 10 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets and even some livestock. I am a full time employee for UC Davis. I get off work around 6 and have Thursday-Saturday off with flexible pet sitting availability on Sunday I would ensure I wear clean clothes over every time to limit any unwanted illness. With my job specifically I don't deal with sick animals so that won't be an issue. I am also used to placing animal in crates and potty walks.

About: Hello there! My name is Josh, and I’m an enthusiastic dog caretaker who would love the chance to take care of your dog. At first glance, you might be unsure if this guy who looks like a pirate can reliably care for your furry friend. Rest assured, I am dedicated to meeting your dog’s needs in a safe and fun environment. I will ensure that your dog feels loved and happy. I prioritize open communication with pet owners to build trust. A little background about me: I currently have a rare brain tumor that makes it difficult for me to hold a regular job. The tumor is stable and only affects my vision in my left eye. I hope that with treatment, I will soon overcome this health challenge so I can return to school to become an MRI technician. In the meantime, I’m happy to work with Rover to save up for that goal. Taking care of your pets would mean a lot to me and would help me progress toward my aspirations. I promise to go above and beyond in my service to show my appreciation. I also have a well-behaved Belgian Malinois named Nezuko, who gets along with all dogs. If you’d like, we can arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand—I’d be happy to do so. If you'd like to see my pup. Thank you for reading, and I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I am on permanent disability so i am available at all times. I am still very active and I walk my own dog 3-4 miles a day. I have a huge park across the street that I take my dog to every day. If your dog is not good off-leash, I have a 50 ft leash they can use if they have a compatible vest. My dog is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. She does get very excited when she sees new dogs and people, but I've never seen her be aggressive with any dog or person.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc. I believe animals come into our lives to make it better and to give us unconditional love. I have trained all my puppies as well as cared for my parents elderly Bullmastiff. I am very sensitive to the needs of pets and can feel when something is wrong. My schedule is open Monday - Sunday, I am a stay at home fur mom and I can not wait to meet your fur baby. All of my cats and dogs are indoor. I believe that is the safest way to keep them healthy and protected. However, if your fur baby is outside I will make sure all gates, doors are closed, locked and secure!

About: Hi there! I have 2 years of pet-sitting experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. From zoomies to cuddle sessions, I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I treat each fur baby like family, giving them all the belly rubs, playtime, and attention they deserve. My goal? A wagging tail by the end of every visit! I’m home for the summer with a flexible schedule, which means your pet will have my full attention. Whether it’s extra long walks, playtime in the yard, or cozy snuggles, I’ll be there to keep their tails wagging while you focus on your day. I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. I stick to their routines; feeding, walks, play, and any special care needs. I always give them plenty of love and attention. Think of me as a temporary stand-in best friend for your furry one!

“Beatrice has been walking our dogs for several months and has done a housesitting visit when we were away for a week. She is calm, kind and took great care of our home and our two older dogs.”

About: Growing up with dogs of my own, I have a deep love and adoration for the animals. I've been told I was always able to have any animal like me, no matter the size, and that people could tell I cared deeply for animals. Family and friends have asked me to care for their pets and such whenever they go out of town, and it is very fulfilling to be trusted with an important member of one's family. I am looking for work that can give me a bit more to do during my weeks. I am a college student, so I couldn't necessarily keep a full-time job while taking 7 classes as much as I would've liked to. Pet care/sitting would just give me the little extra cushion on money flow to allow me to be less stressed about college tuition. Plus, playing with cute animals would definitely help me relax and make my day 10x better. I do live in apartment, so it is a bit of an obstacle. But, I live in a gated community that closes its gates every night and opens at a certain time in the morning. I love to go for walks, so I could keep them in good company and fun while taking them out. I have dealt with crate-trained, and crate-training, dogs before as well!

“Joshua was excellent with our little Maltese Kylo. We wanted our dog to have some playing time with another dog, and it was great that Joshua brought his dog, Nezuko, with him. Nezuko is well-behaved, and our dog Kylo had a great time with her. If you are looking for someone fantastic with dogs, Joshua is the right fit.”

Kari S.
“Kari is the best dog sitter I have experienced. She’s responsible and such an animal lover, I know there’s no need for me to worry at all while I’m away for a day or weeks. I don’t trust anyone to watch Mimi especially since she is on scheduled medications. Mimi normally is with me everyday and so I was worried about the separation anxiety but with Kari’s love and care Mimi is comfortable and relaxed. I can’t say enough of how we love knowing Kari is there for our furbabies, including our cats Max and Queenie! Thank you so much, Kari!!!! ❤️🤗🐶🐱🐱”

Mikaela J.
“Kaela is one of the most kindhearted and responsible people I know. She has a natural way with animals and genuinely cares for every dog like it’s her own. I’ve seen firsthand how patient, attentive, and loving she is, and I can’t think of anyone better to trust with your pup. The way she is with my Oreo, that’s is literally her bestfriend! Any dog would be lucky to have her as their walker!”

I’ve known Lora for about 4 years now, and I’ve always gone to her whenever I needed someone to help care for my Sissy if I was going out of town for a trip or work-related travel. Kalina has definitely exceeded my expectations as a dog walker. She is responsible, communicative, and very caring/loving towards my fur babies. At first contact, she responded very quickly and was willing to meet the next day on such short notice. Kalina was very patient with my boy, Ghost, especially when he hid under the bed for 30 mins during the first scheduled walk. She contacted me immediately to figure out next steps. Kalina wanted to respect my dog's comfortability, which I very much appreciated. The same day, Ghost warmed up to her and both of my dogs ended up enjoying the outdoors. Kalina made sure to communicate when she arrived at the house and left, also included pictures for me to see. I can tell that both Ghost and Hazel love her! Kalina did such an amazing job and I would recommend her to anyone seeking help with their fur babies. They are in great hands with her!

Kayden completed a 60 minute walk with our goldendoodle and standard poodle. It was a short notice booking and Kayden was able to do a meet and greet with our dogs a day prior to the walk. We apprexiated Kayden for initiating the meet and greet as it demonstrates professionalism. It shows he caree about providing the best experience for the dogs and pet parents as well as ensuring it is a suitable client for the walker.
