About: I have had pets my whole life and I have worked with military bomb detection dogs for the last four years, making me very familiar with pet care. I am currently in college seeking a business administration degree, so I am pretty much available all throughout the week for outdoor activities in San Diego. I have no pets at the moment as I am currently living in an apartment and do not want to limit there mobility and or exercise.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life -- both my own dogs and as the go-to sitter for friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors. Across my extensive time caring for dogs, I have gained experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am particularly good with nervous or timid dogs, and I am very comfortable with dogs who have special medical needs. Last year I had to say goodbye to my own greatly beloved dog after two years of very intense cancer care. About: I’m downtown and perfect for anyone in the area. I can do picks ups, and park time. I love all dogs and can handle up to five at a time in my home. My dogs are service animals and extremely lovely. They will mainly be in my boarding facility in Newberry Springs but you could occasionally see them here. I’m excited to host your furbabes! I take my dogs to the dog park between 545 and 5am and we stay for about an hour. Your dogs can come to that. It’s the grape street dog park. I also do dog runs at night between 6-9pm. I treat pets like humans. Love and redirection constantly. Your dogs might even leave better behaved and I won’t charge you extra for it. Lol

Mac had a great time at Alexa’s. We were in town on family business for two weeks and Mac stayed with Alexa nearly everyday. He looked happy and content everyday we picked him up. Alexa was very flexible with scheduling and was great with communication I would highly recommend Alexa as a caregiver and will use her if we should return to the San Diego area.

Melina seemed to be great with Milo. We were glad to see our dog happy and relaxed when we picked them up from their stay. It's clear they were comfortable. While we were pleased with how well our dog seemed, we would have appreciated more consistent updates or communication during his time with her since it was a one time thing. But overall we are happy with our experience.
Cali usually is uncomfortable with new people and I always dread leaving her, but whatever Kirsten is doing it works. Cali is actually excited to go to daycare and that is a load off of me! Thank you, Kirsten and Rover!
