“Mabel loved her time at Araceli’s! Araceli was very warm and welcoming to us humans, but to Mabel she was a dog’s dream host. There are toys, stuffies and balls galore. Mabel absolutely felt at home the second we walked in. Mabel was allowed to get on the couch and Araceli didn’t mind when water dripped off her mouth after drinking water. We knew immediately that Mabel would be in great hands and she was. We were happy to receive pictures and even a video of Mabel having fun. We will definitely use Araceli again. I know Mabel will be excited.”

About: Cats hold a special place in my heart, despite the fact that I’m a current dog owner. Their presence has always been calming. I enjoy gaining the trust of cats, as it’s often a challenge unlike most dogs. In terms of experience, I’ve owned cats for a number of years and I can perform any task you need including: Grooming, walking, play time and medication administration.

About: I used to have a cat and a hamster and currently own a dog. I have personally trained him and he is now living with my family! I currently go to college in the morning so my availability will be the afternoons along with the weekends in the afternoon and night! I can do boarding on the weekends while caring during the afternoon on the week days! I enjoy playing or relaxing with your animal depending on what they like to do! For dogs, there is a pet relief area in my apartment building however if they are not comfortable with that and/or you have a senior dog, i do have fake grass on my patio right outside of my apartment!

About: Had my Golden Retriever over 14.5 years. We are very patient, around the house all day, and have some toys and treats that our sweet Bailey girl left behind we’d like to share! Will take your pup on walks, make sure they are fed appropriately and give lots of complimentary belly rubs. Both of us are home a majority of the day. We are active. Happy to take your pets on walks or any outdoor activities they may enjoy. Have a large condo so plenty of space. Can crate pet if you’d like but am flexible as long as pet is comfortable in our home. Have separate rooms and areas to put pets in if there are multiple or need their space.

About: Howdy! I've been on rover for a few years now. I briefly stopped in 2023 and then in 2024 I moved down to SD. Now that my pooch and I are settled in we are ready to dog sit again! Throughout my time with Rover I developed a number of regular folks that trusted their dogs with me and my pooch. I have one dog, Butler. He's 8 and is a loving and patient dalmatian. And as you can see in the photos uploaded he definitely enjoys the dog company 🐾 See below for my work schedule :) I work in the office two days a week and work from home the other 3. On the work days in the office I am gone the whole time so I ask that your pooch is well acclimated to being able to be left alone for that extended period of time I live in an apartment right now that has plenty of parks around it so to make sure the dogs get exercise we can either go on long walks at least twice a day or go to the nearby parks

About: Dogs are an integral part of the family! Growing up, we always had at least 3 dogs. Dogs are family not animals to me. I have always taken care of my family pets as well as neighbors dogs. As a teenager, I would take care of my neighbors pitbull and cocker spaniel by feeding them and playing with them when the neighbors were at work or on vacation. I know have 2 dogs, an 10 year old husky and a 6 year old chihuahua mix. They are still very youthful and cared for greatly. They definitely do not act there age. I love taking care of dogs and making their lives as special as they make mine. I am a full time dog mom! I am going to school, but I have the luxury of being attending from home which leaves me plenty of time for loving on the puppers. I have 2 dogs that are very friendly. If needed, I can crate you furry family member. My husky has food allergies so I have experience making sure the fur baby doesn't get into anything that would make their stomachs unhappy. I am super vigilant during walks and sun bathing since both of my dogs are severely allergic to bees. If you board your pet with me, they will be treated just like family. Your furry family member will become one of our family members while they are here. Any dietary restrictions or house rules you wish to disclose will be followed exactly!

About: I grew up with both a cat and hogan’s would love to have a pet of my own right now but just can’t afford it, so I love taking in your pets for a couple days and giving them all my love! I work primarily from home with a couple days a month in office, my boyfriend, who is also a dog and cat lover (currently has a dog at his parents house) works from home and will be able to provide all the attention and care your pets need while I am out. On weekends will do everything from hiking to going to the beach with your pets. My apartment is a pet friendly apartment, almost every person that lives there has a dog. I treat every dog like family and am committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment so both you and your pup can feel comfortable and at ease. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine because I’ve been around animals my entire life. Growing up with parents who owned an animal shelter taught me the importance of feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and giving pets plenty of love and attention. I have a flexible schedule and make time each day for walks, outdoor activities, and quality one-on-one care, ensuring every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I provide loving, attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. In my home, I create a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of playtime, exercise, potty breaks, and affection. In a client’s home, I follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and lots of companionship. Having grown up with parents who owned an animal shelter, I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and I treat every pet like they’re my own.

We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”

I live in an apartment with my chill 7 year old pup, and we enjoy walks in the neighborhood and the grass park every 2-4 hours. (On hot days, we drive straight to the grass park to avoid the cement/asphalt). This life style, with a commitment of only a flexible few hours of computer work at home each day, gives me a chance to give plenty of attention to all fur babies in my care. Especially for pups who may feel more at home in a relaxed setting (instead of the chaos of bustling day care centers or confines of a boarding kennel), my apartment can be the *calm* oasis for them whether the need care just for the daytime or for extended overnight boarding. 🥰 For cat parents 🐈⬛🐈😻: I cared for a lovely cat for 1.5 years that I dearly miss.
