About: I've been a pet owner since I was two years old and played a major role in taking care of my family dogs and guinea pig! I've had my own dog, a cattle dog mix, for the last 5+ years. I've educated myself on training techniques and skills for stimulating dogs physically and mentally in order to keep up with her! I have experience looking after friends' and families' cats and dogs, and I'm a self-appointed playground monitor at my local dog park. I'm excited to meet your furry family member and give them some love and care while you're away. I'm currently applying for engineering / academic jobs after earning my degree, so other than caring for my own dog, my days are wide open. I have a fenced-in backyard and a playful dog who is great with dogs of all sizes. I've got food puzzles, Bully Make and Benebone chew toys, and a ChuckIt tennis ball thrower. My dog is crate-trained so I'm happy to follow your lead on your pets' needs.

She took our other pup out for a little walk each time in addition to taking them both outside for breaks. I could easily see how much fun our pups had with Jackie in the photos that she sent over!”

About: When I was 5, my first ever chore was feeding the dog because my parents knew it was what I cared about most. That hasn’t changed. I’ve had animals of some sort my entire life and currently have two larger dogs. I’ve used Rover as a pet owner since moving to Pittsburgh and can fully attest to how helpful it has been, which is why I decided to become a sitter I’ve sat for animals with needs for oral and topical medicines and am comfortable handling that. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I only need a day’s notice to plan transportation. For house sitting, I’m happy to work from that home as well. I’m comfortable with whatever your pet is used to. Fenced yards, leashed walks, and litter boxes are all fine by me. I’m also happy to help reinforce training and routine if needed.

My experience includes caring for cats and dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, energy levels, and temperaments—from playful puppies and energetic dogs to senior pets who need a little extra patience and attention, as well as independent cats and affectionate lap cats alike. I understand that some pets warm up quickly while others need time to build trust, and I always let them set the pace. Whether it's feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, cleaning litter boxes, or simply providing companionship and comfort while you're away, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and well cared for, while giving you peace of mind knowing they're in reliable hands. I work full time out of the home, but can be available to board animals overnight on weekdays for (1) night with a pick up by 7:30 AM the following day and can board or house-visit over the weekend (Drop off Friday after 4PM thru Sundays-pick up by 5 pm Sunday). I can do house visits any week day after 4 PM. I have a fenced in backyard and a very walkable, safe neighborhood. My home is a pet's paradise with lots of comfy couches and plenty of space to run and play, and windows for clocking in for Neighborhood Watch :) I don't mind animals sleeping with me, if they want to! Otherwise, plenty of places for furry ones to nap and snooze whenever they choose.

Your pet is allowed on our sofa and enjoy the area of a one bedroom. If I am at your home, I will aim to make your pet feel as comfortable and stress free as possible while the owner is way by keeping a normal routine in their own home environment. I will carefully follow your instructions and communication is very important to me, so I can provide regular updates , photos and check-in to help the owner feel reassured. As someone with a medical background I am very attentive to details and safety.
