About: Hi, I'm Caroline! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. I've had experience with dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, chickens, and other small animals, and I've been pet sitting and dog walking for the past four years. Every pet has their own personality, and I love getting to know what makes each one feel comfortable, happy, and loved. I'm dependable, punctual, and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply sticking to their daily routine, I'm happy to provide the care that's best for them. I understand how important it is to trust someone with both your pet and your home, so I always communicate clearly, follow instructions carefully, and make safety my top priority. I have experience with puppies, senior pets, and animals with different energy levels and personalities. I'm comfortable administering basic medications if needed, reinforcing routines, and making sure your pet gets the exercise, attention, and affection they deserve while you're away. I also love sending photo updates and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members and providing them with the same love and care I'd want for my own pets! I currently work part time as a server, but with a minimum two weeks notice I can work my schedule around your animals needs to give them the best care possible. Though, I can usually work with shorter notice, feel free to reach out even same day and I will try my best to accommodate! Additionally, personal safety is a top priority for me, and I do require a meet up before I will book with you. That way we both feel comfortable!
âLauren was great with our senior dog!!! Our Molly has a tendency towards separation anxiety but we came home to find a very content dog (especially considering she had never met Lauren before) Lauren was prompt, good with communicating and eased our minds with several pictures taken during her stay. We highly recommend Lauren and will be using her again ???â

âKennedy was my first sitter on Rover, and I'm a helicopter pet parent who had never left my pets before. After meeting her I had no concerns. I had a vet visit for my dog the day before departing and a health concern I communicated to Kennedy. She was caring and payed careful attention to him. I had a LOT of anxiety about leaving my cat and left many instructions. I received pictures daily and immediate, plentiful replies to my requests for updates. My pets love her, and they can be hard to win over. I'm relieved to have chosen her and have had this experience. Thank you, Kennedy!â

Again, I have my own cat and dog and they are very friendly. I am committed to making sure your pets feel safe and comfortable.

- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
