About: I have taken care of many animals like cats, dogs, fish, chicken, hamsters, and a few others! Most of these were in my home throughout the years, and around four years ago I began sitting for friends and family. I am very dependable, punctual, and I love to spend time with animals. Making sure your animal gets all their needs met and have plenty of social time while you are away is my priority! I currently work part time as a server, but with a minimum two weeks notice I can work my schedule around your animals needs to give them the best care possible. I base my time spent at the house per the animals needs, but will visit at least 2-3 times a day for an hour. I cannot care for animals in my home as I am a college student in a small apartment and have an animal myself. However in clients home I tend to follow the clients instructions and base care around the animals attitude and needs. Every animal and person is different so it really just depends on your family! I also care very much about home and personal safety, this is a top priority.
“10/10! Very considerate and attentive to our hyper Husky, Bella! George brought us peace of mind while we were away for a family wedding. He went the extra mile and was very responsive. Even though we hate leaving our fur baby, we know she’s in good hands with George!! Thanks again!”

“Julie was absolutely amazing, kept up with our puppy. Made it super comfortable to be away from home and trust in someone caring for our baby. Sent loads of pictures and even cleaned up puppy throw up for us. Even took the time to train some bad habits out of Mr. Peanut butter (His name) would highly recommend.”

“We are so grateful to have found Dawn. She is wonderful with our senior cat and it was so refreshing to be able to get away for a few days and not worry about her. Excellent communication and above and beyond care of our beloved pet and our home. Much appreciated. Will definitely book again.”

“This was our first time using someone on Rover and we are very satisfied with Lauren’s help caring for our two girls. She provided lots of pictures too! We would highly recommend her to others and will be using her again.”

I also aided a local dog business, ensuring they were taken care of and treated as my own while maintaining strong relationships and gaining their trust. I have a strong passion for all animals and cant wait to meet yours! My Interest: I love music, playing piano & singing especially, so expect your dog to be serenaded during our time together. I’m also an avid reader, a grad student, and a full-time non-profit professional. I love art as well so feel free to share your favorite painting. I work full time, ensuring our eastern shore neighbors are fed and taken care of, but love my flexible schedule to ensure everyone animal is well taken care of. I’m very respectful with client’s space and aim to ensure it is well maintained as well as providing the best possible care and experience for the animal.
“Amber was so wonderful!! She was so kind and caring to our dog, and did everything we asked for a drop-in visit. Everything went smoothly, we couldn’t of asked for anything more! Will definitely be using her again!”

“Hope was great! She accepted the job last minute and won over our normally wary cat. We’re grateful for her level of communication and trustworthiness. Definitely recommend and would love to hire again next time we go away. Thanks!”

“Anmei is amazing with my puppy, as a first time dog mom I completely trust her with him. She really cares for him as if he was her own and I couldn’t ask for anything more. He loves her too you will not be disappointed booking with Anmei.”

About: ❗️❗️🙂 CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS🙂❗️❗️ I've been working for Rover since 2017, and I can truly say that I adore this job! I mainly specialize in working with dogs and cats, however I am willing to work with different kinds of animals if needed. I'm also a Washington DC native, who has recently moved to Salisbury, Maryland 💛🖤❤️🤍 ⚠️❗️❗️UPDATE AS OF APRIL 2024❗️❗️⚠️: If you are new client and need someone for a extended stay Home Sitting, the longest I will be willing to stay is 3 to 5 days. Once you are a repeat client, I am then more comfortable staying for longer periods of time if needed. Pets will stay on routine by following whatever schedule the owner has set up. If it means getting up early to take a walk, that's what will happen. If I means getting out later in the afternoon for a walk, tha will be fine too. Pet care fits into my routine by me having a very opened schedule. I just moved to Easton, MD, so right now I'm looking to build a new client base here. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.

“Jackie has been absolutely wonderful to work with. She replies instantly and keeps me updated. I am new to pet ownership and having someone look after them while I have to travel for work. She has been amazing every step of the way.”

About: I’m an experience, dog owner and true animal lover, who takes pride in providing attentive and loving care. I currently have a 100 pound German Shepherd, who I personally potty trained and taught commands like sit, lay down, wait and handshake. Through this I developed a strong understanding of dog behavior, patience and consistency. I’ve also cared for and walked dogs for friends and family. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and I treat every animal like they’re my own. In my free time I also volunteer at a local Humane Society where I walk and spend time with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am comfortable handling different energy levels and personalities. As a student working part-time, I have a flexible and well managed scheduled that allows me to fit pet care throughout my day. I’m available most days and happy to work with owners to find times that fit their needs. I provide attentive personalized care in your home so your pet can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I will follow your pets usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes including large, highly energy breeds, and whether it’s a walk, drop in visit, or stay my goal is to keep your pet happy safe and stress while you’re away I treat every pet like my own and prioritize their well being at all times I will also provide regular updates and photo so you can feel confident and at ease knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: I have had several animals in my lifetime, some of my families growing up, and several of my own. I have owned a total of 5 dogs. All of my dogs have been/are rescues. I currently have 3 "puppies" that range in ages between 1-2 years old. I got two of them when they were only 6 months old and I have done all of their training on my own. Animals of all kinds have a very special place in my hear and I work hard so my fur animals can have a better life. Remember, your animals only experience what you allow them to. Let them experience life the way we do, they are only here for so long. I work from home therefore, I am available at all times. I can bring my work to your home if I need to be there for an extended time or I can leave my work at home and come take care of your animals if it will be for a shorter period of time. My dogs experience everything that I experience in my home. Such as roaming freely, having access to food and water at all times, being able to roam in the yard independently, and most importantly, they sleep on a tempur-pedic mattress at night with their humans.
About: I’ve taken care of neighborhood pets for over eight years. I have watched dogs of all ages, sizes, and needs. I have also watched dogs with high medical needs such as epilepsy and am comfortable giving medications. I have experience with everything from drop-in visits to multiple-month stays! In addition to dogs, I am also comfortable taking care of cats, goats, and chickens and have years of experience with them as well! I am currently in physical therapy school, so my weekly schedule varies. However, I am free in the late afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends. My schedule can be relatively flexible around classes, as I am not currently working! I love spending time playing with dogs. If your dog is full of energy, I am more than willing to take them for walks and play with them to get some energy out! If your dog is more laid back, I love a good snuggle! I am comfortable crating dogs, as well as having them roam freely!

“Carla has been great as a recurring drop in walker/sitter for my pup, Gryffin. She sends plenty of pictures and detailed reports so I don't need to worry. Would highly recommend!!”

About: I have cared for all types of animals for most of my life. I have done training with puppies and senior dogs, while also helping to provide any extra medical care they need. I am able to provide daily walks and anything that might be needed for your animals. I am looking forward to helping you and your animals when needed! I just graduated college and I'm not currently working so I am at home full time. I am very flexible in the Salisbury or surrounding areas. This flexibility will help me to coincide with all your animal needs! Pet care will be tailored to each individual pet. In my household dogs get spoiled and daily walks. Please let me know how I can help with your specific pet needs!
