I work fulltime but am able to do morning, mid-day and late afternoon / evening drop in visits. My schedule is pretty flexible! I enjoy the opportunity to break away from the hustle/bustle of every day life to love on my four legged friends.

Caring for your pet(s) is an honor and a joy for me. I get specific instructions from owners and try to make sure to follow the same procedures and patterns as to lessen the stress on their pet while they're away. Providing the best care is paramount for me. I also pride myself on being very good with high anxiety animals. Animals sense your spirit, your energy. When they feel safe, they are more apt to be calm. As much as I enjoy putting people at ease, I enjoy doing the same for animals.

No real breed preferences, I love them all. My granddogs are a standard poodle, a mini-schnauzer, a terrier mix and a whippet mix, so I have an obvious affinity for all of them. I love all dogs and the unique character of mixed breeds. I love my feline friends as well, especially ones with unique and beautiful coloring, and a vibrant personality to match.
A typical day
Now I primarily do drop in visits, so I'm visiting the animal in the comfort of their home. I love to play and help continue the owner's training, providing a well rounded, enjoyable experience for us both. I confess, I'm also a lovebug. So I'm a big snuggler, if the pet I'm sitting happens to be one as well. :)

Pet care experience
I absolutely love animals, especially dogs. I've often said, if humans could have the personalities of many dogs, the world would probably be a better place! I love them with the same unconditional admiration that they provide. While I unable to have animals of my own right now, pet sitting allows me to love vicariously through other's four legged family members! I've been actively dogsitting for years now, administering medication, and providing overnight care. I've cared for puppies, elderly dogs, pugs, boxers, standard poodles, a variety of mixed breeds, and dogs with various special needs. I love that petsitting provides me with the opportunity to meet a variety of sweet pups and I especially love taking cute pictures for their owners! Most of all, I enjoy providing the owner with the assurance that their pet will be loved and cared for in the same manner they provide. I can't wait to hear from you and meet your pets!
