“Scott did such a good job taking care of my cat! He made sure the litter box had plenty of litter even though it’s an automatic litter box and I told him not to worry too much about it. Excellent job!”

“Sara is always quick to respond, responsible and reliable. Jude is a more energetic cat, and knowing I can trust that Sara will give him the play time he needs eases my mind when I’m out of town.”

“I can't thank Adrianna V. enough for the exceptional care she gave to my giant German Shepherd. She’s not the easiest dog to handle—she's both antisocial and can be aggressive at times—but [Dog Walker Adrianna V. handled her with such patience, love, and professionalism. She took the time to understand her needs and helped her feel comfortable, even on her more difficult days. It's rare to find someone who can manage such a large, strong dog with kindness while still maintaining control. She truly went above and beyond, and I feel so much better knowing my dog is in good hands with her. If you're looking for someone who can handle a big, challenging dog, look no further. Highly recommended!”

“Adriana was great! She took great care of our cats and updated me with pictures every visit. She was so kind and caring to our cats. Even though one of our cats is very skittish and hid from her the entire time, Adriana still gave us the best updates she possibly could. We would definitely rebook with Adriana in the future.”

“Amelia took care of my cat very well. My cat doesn’t warm up easily to very many people so I was pleasantly surprised that she let Amelia pet her! Clearly she felt very comfortable with her and I’m very happy with the care she received.”

“Jace is a wonderful sitter! He is reliable and kind with my animals, including my 17 year old diabetic cat who needs insulin injections multiple times a day. I highly recommend him!”

“Elise was super easy to communicate with and made the booking process super easy (particularly since I was already on my way out of town when I booked her). Her previous experience with kitties was a big plus and my babies were clearly happy to have someone to play with while I was gone. I will definitely be using Elise again and again!”

About: I'm a lifelong animal lover/parent. Our pets are members of our families, and I'll treat yours as if they were my own. Young, old, special diet, medicine requirements, finicky, playful - I'll be there for them. I have two very independent cats of my own with their own home care routine if I need to be away. I am available when you need someone any day/night of the week. In my home, there is another pet parent which frees me to be there for yours when you need a sitter, feeder, or walks. We have cats and dogs in our immediate area, and I provide sitting services already for my neighbors. You provide instructions for your loved one(s) and I'll follow them!

About: Whether your pet is a couch potato or a trail runner, I have the energy for both! I am available for all your pet care needs, whether walking, drop in visits, taking for vet appointments or to the groomers, bathing, or pet sitting. I've had extraordinary relationships with all of my pets. They are my children. I've had a cats and a dog, and they all lived long, healthy, happy, active lives. I have experience walking both cats and dogs, giving baths, going for adventures in the car, administering oral medications. My beagle shepherd mix was the love of my life. I got him at 8 weeks old and we quickly became inseperable. He went everywhere with me; to Woodward Park to walk with other dog friends, pet stores, hardware stores, the mountains, the ocean, so many places, so many adventures. We camped and hiked hundreds of miles throughout his 12 years with me. I just lost him to cancer and it broke my heart completely. Since he has been gone, I have been house sitting for friends when they go on week long vacations. I want to give your pets the love and care I have always given mine. AvaiIibility: I am completely available on Saturdays and Sundays. During the week, I work 6:30am-3:30pm; so I am available anytime before or after work. If you pet requires a drop in visit midday, I can run by on my lunch break at noon. Your pets safety is most important to me. Each pet wil have customized care based on the pets needs. I will schedule a meet and greet with every client to meet your pets and go over all your pets needs.

“Christina is amazing. She is very caring and attentive. My cat always seems well cared for after Christina visits. My antisocial cat also gets really excited to see her, which makes my heart happy.”

About: Aside from raising my own 3 fur babies (2 cats and 1 dog- all older babies now), I’ve helped take care of others’ pets from large dobies to small kittens. As my title states, I’m an RN and am very comfortable with giving medications to fur babies (as I do with humans) as well as taking care of any illness issues within reason (wound care/ monitoring / accidents). When it comes to senior care of animals, I understand (as I have 2 of my own) the need for them to get extra special love and attention, and medication to keep them as happy and healthy as possible. I believe in making pets as comfortable as possible and letting them know that I’m there to help and give love (if they want). When it comes to dog walking, I’m really vigilant about our surroundings and making sure that dogs get a good safe walk. I definitely gravitate towards animals over humans haha. I work part-time out of town, and so I have a lot of time spent at home with my own animals. I want to spend any free time I have to help others while I’m not home. I prefer to spend time with pets as much as allowed in their home while also following routines previously set for them. Whether it’s playing out in the back yard, or just hanging out together on the carpet and relaxing, I like the pet to know that I’m there and not alone. If crating is necessary or part of the dogs routine, I can do that too.

“Farin is an excellent cat nanny! I've used other sitters from Rover, but I've never felt the same sense of calm as I did when I left Hazel in Farin's care. She communicated frequently, and sent daily pictures of my affectionate fur baby engaged in play and cuddles. The pictures meant everything to me because I wasn't looking for someone to see to the minimal needs of Hazel, I was looking for someone with a natural ability connect with her.”

About: I've had pets all of my life. I've been around cats since I was born, had dogs since I was 9, and went to school for animal science (Cal Poly SLO) and to become a vet tech. I've had a handful of pet care jobs, mostly doggy daycare and professional pet bathing, where I worked with dogs great and small (and every size in between). I've helped take care of dogs while they were boarding at the daycare by cleaning their rooms, making sure they always had water and a cozy bed, and feeding them according to their parent's instructions (as well as play with them and take them on walks). With schooling I became skilled at administering medications, doing bandages, and I am confident with my CPR skills. I am comfortable with all breeds and most temperaments (as long as they're not people aggressive, that's fine!). Whether your senior dog needs some assistance with pottying or your puppy needs an extra run when you're at work, I'm happy to provide my services. Between the hours of 6am and 10pm I am open to stop by and check in on your pet or take them on a nice long tiring walk. While I do not sit for pets at my house I would care for clients pets like they're my own. I would follow the rules given to me down to a T, your pet will always be safe in my hands.

About: I am a full-time college student, and I work multiple jobs. I enjoy taking care of pets it's somewhat relaxing to me. I grew up with dogs, birds, turtles, fish, and the occasional neighborhood cats. I am going on my fourth year of pet sitting. I have pet sitted from one day to a whole week. I can do a combination of overnight (at your house) as well as drop-in visits. The max number of dogs I looked after were 14 ( 5 adult -med and 9 pups). With the adult dogs as per instructions from the owners, in the mornings/ afternoons I would let them out to play while I cleaned their kennels and refill their food and drinks. I like to keep in communication with the owners (updates/questions/notifications), especially when I am house sitting. I think it's vital to have so owners can be at ease and sitter can take of thing with confidence. I really would like to see where this petsitting journey will lead me, but I need your help.
