Adventure Days: I like to take them on a hiking trip or field run at least once a week for extra stimulation. Training Refreshers: I incorporate new commands or fun challenges to keep them engaged. 1. Safety First Keep hazardous items (toxic foods, cleaning supplies, sharp objects) out of reach. Ensure the home is secure (closed gates, fences, and escape-proof areas). Use pet-friendly, non-toxic cleaning products. Monitor pets closely, especially in new environments. 2. Building Trust Introduce myself calmly and let the pet approach at their own pace. Maintain a routine to provide consistency and reduce stress. Use positive reinforcement (treats, praise) to encourage good behavior. Respect their space, especially when they need alone time. 3. Creating a Comfortable Environment Provide clean, fresh water at all times. Ensure they have a cozy sleeping area. Maintain a comfortable room temperature. Offer mental stimulation through toys, games, and interaction. Follow their dietary needs and feeding schedule strictly.

She loves horseback riding, and even worked at the Zoo alongside butterflies, birds, goats, Kangaroos and other wild animals.”

About: I’ve taken care of my dog Rusty since he was a puppy. He’s 5yrs, a shih tzu, and my bestie! I play with Rusty daily, walked him, and have always consistently let him out to potty! I’ve looked after my friend’s fur babies and I appreciate how different each personality is. In a couple of months I plan to study abroad, I currently work on Tuesdays so I have plenty of time daily! I am flexible with my schedule. I am very respectful and responsible with other people’s fur babies and homes. I provide an interactive environment and have a love for animals. If there’s anything particular that a client is used to I am very open to accommodating them.

“Kelly has been a dependable sitter who’s gone above and beyond for me and my dog. My dog got pretty sick after he decided to eat a roll of dog poop bags. our vet told us we’d have to watch for him to pass in his BM or else he’d need surgery and she helped watch him during the night while I had to go to work to make sure he was okay while I was gone. She made sure he was hydrated and passed the roll of bags whole. She really cared for him like a mom staying up with their sick kid. I can’t appreciate that enough.”
