About: I will treat your pet as my own! I will love on them, respect their boundaries they may need, and provide great care for them. I have been dogs for 20 years now and love many kinds of pets! I volunteered at an animal shelter for 6 years and treated each animal as if it were my own! I love to make homemade peanut butter treats for my personal dogs and would love to bring a treat to your fur baby! I have two young kids who are animal lovers them self! About: I have had pets since I was 1 years old. I have had everything from guinea pigs, dogs, cats, rabbits, hermit crabs and more! I currently have 2 labradors and 2 bunnies with my husband (bunnies have their own room in the house separated from the dogs). I have been an adoption counselor for the Wisconsin Humane Society for 3.5 years. I love animals and am very comfortable around them. My husband and I are comfortable with all sized dogs and breeds! I work from home and have a home office that attaches to the sliding back door. We have a fully fenced in backyard and my dogs love to run around in the back! I have a completely fenced in back yard. The house is always at a comfortable temperature, someone is almost ALWAYS home. Our dogs are probably only home alone 1-2 hours max a day. All medications are kept in the bathroom at the highest cupboard (dogs are not allowed in the bathroom). We do not keep anything on the counters and all doors are shut when not supervised to ensure safety.

I enjoy keeping the gang busy outside, on nature hikes & any adventures you can think of to tired them all out. I’ve been on both sides of doggie-sitting and love the convenience of sharing in the comforts of home rather than a kennel. My family loves welcoming new pets into our home—we treat them as our own. I am happy to follow all routines your pet is used to, communicate throughout the day and share pictures! I do request that we do a short meet & greet ahead of time so to make sure that all get along—must work well with kiddos. Our golden is a big baby so she will probably just lay on her back with her tail wagging. I work part-time as a substitute teacher and my husband works from home-- we're rarely gone more than a few hours a day. If your pet likes vehicles, they’ll just tag along with the crew on the few occasions we’re doing pick ups. I have over an acre of yard to play in! My golden is trained w an electric fence, but we also have a long line to keep your pet safe when we’re not out. We have a golden, so your dog would join in daily walks and belly rubs. The dog is just another family member in our crew! We never let our visiting dogs left out unattended and either stay on leash or tethered while we’re outside. I also work with the owner to see what works best for your pet!

About: Hi, I'm Emily! I have been an avid dog lover for as long as I can remember, and love pups of all shapes, sizes, and age. While living in Chicago I began walking a handful of dogs for a smaller walking/boarding company whose focus was mainly helping disabled or sick pet owners. This really piqued my interest in helping others take care of their 4 legged family members. From there I began volunteering at adoption and rescue centers through PAWS, where I mainly walked and cared for post-op dogs and cats. While working at PAWS was hardly glamorous, it was incredibly rewarding returning healthy animals back to their families. I also keep feeding schedules logged into my calendar on my phone so that no one ever misses a feeding. Pups go outside at least once an hour unless they show that they need to go out more frequently. Also provide play time, with running around the fenced in yard, playing with toys and tons of snuggles on the couches!
