About: I'm a volunteer training & behavior assistant at a local shelter, but that's not enough; I need MORE furry friends in my life! The most important part of my care is that I will match your pet's routine and care to ensure they're comfortable while you're away. While I take care of all types of animals, I also offer special expertise and experience in the following areas: - Giant breeds - Puppies - Senior animals - Special needs such as restrictive diets, blindness/deafness, mobility issues - Behavioral issues such as reactivity, fear/nervousness, jumping/mouthiness - Training & Behavior support through positive reinforcement I guarantee that not only will your pet receive the best care possible, they'll have a new best friend that they're excited to see. I'm a self-employed User Experience Consultant and maintain a very flexible schedule. Taking care of pets helps me get out of the house and stretch my legs so don't hesitate to contact me! When your pets are my responsibility, they won't just have their minimum needs met. They'll receive the attention, love, and affection they miss when you're away. I don't just do this for money, I believe we have a responsibility to the domesticated animals of this world. I travel with a slip lead and treats in my car that I've used on multiple occasions to rescue stray dogs and work with local animal services to return them to their owners.
“Amanda is great! Always very responsive to messages and helpful. She provides a great, detailed overview of how my cat is doing for every visit, and goes above and beyond to play with her and make her feel comfortable. Would totally recommend!”

“Jae was incredible with our cat during drop-in visits with him over a long weekend. She is responsive and provided pictures of our guy during her visits to our home. Within two days, Milo was sitting on her lap, which he hardly ever does - clearly Milo loves her more than us :)”

“I can always rely on Danielle to respond quickly. She’s reliable and is a HUGE stress reliever knowing that my pup is being well taken care of. I’ve rebooked her numerous times now, and she has never disappointed”

About: I'm currently a CSU graduate student but have lived all over the place! I have one senior cat back home (Angelo) and another 1-year old cat living with me (Void). I also currently live with my roommate's dog (Ziggy) and cat (Esther), who I take care of when they are gone. I have solid experience and am willing to work with pets who are reactive or take a while to warm up. My 9-5 job is remote and I make my own schedule, so I can shift my work schedule around your pets needs. I will be in Colorado until October and am looking to take care of and meet new pet friends until then. I start by getting to know the pet and greeting them, and then make sure they are fed and have a walk if that is part of the service I'm providing. I also always make sure to take some extra time to pet them and play with them.
About: I've taken care of a dog in various formats since I was 14 years old. Currently I have three dogs that I have rescued and raised from various experiences where without me, they would have ended up worse off. I have extensive knowledge in pet care, wellbeing and injuries to keep a dog safe, happy and in a loving home. I've made it a point to understand dog nonverbal communication so that I can identify issues as they arise and keep my and your pets safe. My wife and I work opposite schedules most of the week meaning someone is home most of the day. I am an early riser often starting my day at 5am where I handle pet care until I leave for work around 7:30am. My wife takes over care until I return from work at 5pm and this is how our schedule runs Tuesday through Thursday. Monday and Friday we work the same shift so our pups will be unsupervised from 10am-5pm but are left in safe environments with plenty of mental stimulation and given potty breaks at 10am and extended breaks at 5pm when I arrive home. I am home all day on the weekends to take care of pet needs. I have a fenced in backyard that the dogs are free to play in all day with my other pups who are very friendly to other dogs. We have dog crates already set up in the home that are used on as needed basis and lots of mental stimulation toys like kongs, puzzles and treat dispensing toys. For my dogs they eat twice a day in the morning and night and are allowed unlimited (supervised through security cameras and frequent checks) backyard time, where there is water and a dog house to cool off. The dogs get walked on a rotating schedule throughout the week. In others homes I am sure to follow the schedule of the owner and ensure the wellbeing of your pet.
About: I've had pets all my life and I'm starting to care for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, and of all different breeds and sizes. I currently work full time, I work 1 day remote at home and 4 days in the office. I will make plenty of time to be there for your fur baby though. I am very active, I go running, take long walks as well as hiking with my pup. He is very friendly with other dogs and loves to have company. Any special needs, diets or behaviors I will need to know in order keep your fur baby happy and comfortable.
About: I've taken care of all types of animals since I was 12. I've cared for lots of cats, my own dog, fish, guinea pigs, and snakes. I have the most experience with cats but I love all animals. I have the most experience dachshunds as I’ve learned how to personalize care for the breed of dog. I am working part time on Mondays mornings, Friday mornings, and Saturday nights. Otherwise I am open to fit your schedule! Things may shift around as my I just started my job and my schedule may change. Since I will not be caring for pets in my home, it will entirely rely on the rules of the client's household. Any rules that are there will be followed to make sure your fur baby is safe and happy. Along with your fur baby, I can water plants, take in mail, or accept packages.
“Mel took great care of our three cats. She even noticed that one of our kitties needed to be brushed and spent time grooming her to get off all her extra fur. Will definitely use again!”

“Anna is literally the best! This is our third time booking her and we have never had anything go wrong. She’s always friendly and loving with our pets! She makes sure they have the attention they need/could ever want when we are away. 10/10 would recommend 🤟💕”

“Well first of all she brought me a donut at the meet and greet… Elizabeth is the best! So thorough and thoughtful with my kitties. I knew from the moment I met her that they would be in good hands with her. Her husband Rich is great too!”

Franklintown pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sophie has been so reliable and communicative and I’ve grown to trust her to care for my plants and my home while I’m gone. She has been reliable for the last few years as I’ve had a lot of travel. I would recommend her to anyone needs someone trustworthy while they are away.
Amanda was wonderful. Her thorough reports made me feel so comforted while I was away from home. I can tell my kitties loved her, because my little one doesn't come out for ANYONE except me, but Amanda was able to befriend her at the first drop in. Highly recommend.

Anna is for real, the best! Every time we need to leave our boys at home we ask her to watch them because we love her so much! She’s always on time, sends lots of pictures, and takes care of our furry guys like they were her own. We would pick Anna over any other pet sitter or kennel every time.

Susan is our go to. She’s basically our pets’ god mother 🤣. Not only is she a phenomenal pet sitter with cute pics and updates.. But her knowledge of animal behavior is impeccable. 100/10 recommend her to pet sit as well as training sessions. She’s been with us since we first brought our puppy home and has made such a positive impact on her behavior. I always tell my friends/family about her!❤️
Shakiyla was an absolutely fantastic sitter! She is so knowledgeable about how to care for a big, very loving but also high energy dog like my Alba, and I felt very comfortable knowing my baby was in her care while i was so far away. She is professional, kind, responsive, and an excellent trainer as well, and I will absolutely be requesting her services in the future. Highly recommend, especially if you have a bully breed dog!

Kevin was great. He came on time for each scheduled visit. And he handled my somewhat shy dog very well. He also took the time to stop by to meet the dog and get a tour of the house before the scheduled visits. He was generally communicative and very quick to respond to any message.
