About: I’ve been a dog owner for many years, and my 15-year-old Pomeranian is a very special part of our family. He has been with us for so long that I honestly can’t imagine our home without him. I’m also a mom of three, so we have a busy but loving family home where pets are very much part of everyday life. My kids love dogs, and we’re used to having a furry member of the family around. Having a senior dog has taught me to be patient and pay attention to the little things. I know that older dogs sometimes need a little more rest, more frequent potty breaks, and extra care and attention. We also travel to Egypt and Serbia every year, and my Pomeranian has flown overseas with me many times. I know how much work it can be to travel with a dog, and I also know how hard it is to leave them behind. That’s actually one of the reasons I decided to offer boarding. I’ve had to leave my own dog with people I trusted, and even then, I knew he acted differently because I wasn’t there. I remember wondering if he was okay, if he was comfortable, and if someone was giving him the same attention I would. So when your dog stays with me, I want you to feel comfortable too. I’ll get to know your dog’s routine, personality, feeding schedule and what makes them happy and comfortable. I’ll keep you updated with pictures so you don’t have to wonder how they’re doing. We have a fenced backyard, and I’ll take dogs for daily walks on the beautiful 2-mile path around Stellwagen Farm, which is only a few minutes from our home. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone. To me, they’re not just a booking or another dog staying at my house. They’re someone’s family — just like my Pomeranian is part of mine. I’m a stay-at-home mom and am available pretty much all the time, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I provide a safe, loving home with a fenced backyard,and a finished basement. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m available most of the time and can give your dog lots of attention throughout the day. I also have a senior Pomeranian, so I understand the importance of patience and making sure every dog feels comfortable.

Because our puppy Sophie was still too young for full vaccinations, we were not able to board her with a doggy daycare, and we didn’t have any friends or family available to care for her during our trip. About: I've been a dog owner the past decade and have cared for a dog collectively for 15 years total. I am highly observant of their behaviors, needs, health and different ways of communicating. I'm also a great communicator when it comes to responsiveness, sending daily photos and answering any questions. As a bonus, if you are flying out of town, we can provide a free parking space at our home and most likely drop you off and pick you up at either airport for a nominal additional fee to cover gas ($10 Midway, $20 O'Hare) to save you money on a ride share or taxi rate. I am early retired and my wife is typically home from her job as a physician at a nearby hospital before 5 pm. I typically walk our two dogs once a day + let them play in our 1000 sqft fenced dog run that's kept clean and covered in red cedar chips. We have two very friendly dogs and two friendly cats to keep yours company too and play with. We have crates on each level of our home and can even keep your dog isolated (if you want) in a separate room with closed door, while still receiving exercise, attention and proper care.

Thank you Mairead for taking care about Luna when I was in my vacations , she was amazing with my fur baby , she keep me posted all the time and send me pictures , she give her a extraordinary time , took her to the dog park , and for a run , a lot of play and even combed her hair the communication was amazing . I will 1000% use Meaghan again. She accepted my dog into her home and treated her like she was part of the family. From family outings, to walks, to hanging out with her and her children, my dog was always included. I love that she sends morning updates with pictures. Being able to see that she is calm and comfortable with Meaghan and her family is very reassuring. My dog is very anxious, especially when we go out of town, and tends not to eat when we are gone. Meaghan was consistent and patient with her and finally was able to get her to eat on the 2nd or 3rd day.
