I have been in the industry since 1996 starting as a house trained vet assistant, kennel attendant and shelter volunteer. In 2002 I graduated from the Academy of Dog and Cat grooming Arts and have been practicing since. I've lived in my home since 2003 and surrounded by pets the ENTIRE time. Around 2011 I started rescue and foster work and have helped get dozens of pets in safe homes. Currently I groom at a local salon and I have a loyal following of established pets that I have been sitting in my home for years. My life wouldn't be complete any other way. Here, we are a family of 3 dogs, 3 cats, chickens, a horse and a donkey...and me, Mom of 2 boys 11 and 6, both very well trained to respect dogs. This is what we do.

Kate is caring, kind, loves all animals and took very good care of Winnie. This was our first Rover experience but meeting Kate for the first time helped us to feel comfortable with the whole process. We would definitely ask Kate to watch Winnie again if the need arises.

After rescuing our pup not more than 7 months ago, we didn't know what to expect when going out of town. Kate was nothing short of a blessing. With her profound knowledge of animal care, and large area for numerous animals to play and explore, we knew she was the one for our Moose. It was only a short two day trip, but every step of the way, she was eager to let us know how moose was while we were away. We cannot recommend Kate more! Thank you Kate!

Une journée type
All dogs are leashed walked to a potty pen. On their journey they will meet some chickens and possible a horse and donkey if we walk a little further down. My 3 senior dogs are great with all dogs and love to play or not if the situation so calls. Most pets leave and sleep for hours at home because of all the activity.
