About: I will love your pets as if they were my own! I’d love to help you feed, walk, bathe, and play with your pets whenever needed. Lover of both dogs and cats (I currently have both myself). Will provide all the love and cuddles to keep your little friend happy until you come home, and you stress-free from worrying about your kiddos. I am a freelancer and work from home so my schedule is very flexible! Happy to help with any early morning or later evening requests too. I live on a quiet cul de sac with plenty of walkable area around. Comfortable with crating dogs if needed. Whatever rules you keep for furniture or sleeping arrangements, I am happy to oblige by to keep your furry friend feeling as at home as possible while you’re away! For drop-ins at your home/apartment, if there is a dog park in the vicinity, I’d be happy to play with them there! For cats, I can feed, play, and change/scoop their litter if it applies.

I grew up with dogs and spent time working at a busy dog daycare and boarding facility in Denver, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, giving me plenty of time for walks, playtime, and attentive care. I structure my days so the pets I’m watching always get consistent attention, exercise, and communication with their owners. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routines as closely as possible. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and supervision, while keeping their environment safe and calm. “Margaret provided a safe and very quiet space for our anxious pup, Rio, while we explored Nashville on our cross country trip. We travel a lot, and Rio has been in a lot of Rover homes. Margaret’s setup was one of the better ones we’ve visited, and she had a good rapport with Rio. He slept for much of the day, which he doesn’t always do at Rover. That means he felt safe, secure, and at peace. We will book again the next time we’re in Nashville!”

“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”
