9. Aspen S.
“I have known Aspen my entire life and she has always been the most loving and nurturing person I know. She’s always been someone you can count on no matter what. For as long as I’ve known, she’s had a passion to care for animals. I’ve seen here see her passion through by graduating with a degree in animal science, volunteering at the Nashville zoo, working at a veterinarian office, all while maintaining a job to help pay for bills. She’s never strayed from a path to show her love and care for animals. Aside from that, she’s just an amazing and loving person. She always knows how to make someone’s day. She helpful and cares for so many. I’m truly blessed to have her in my life.”

About: I work from home full-time so I’m always around to give pets the attention they need and deserve throughout the day! I have specialized experience working with senior dogs and cats, including medication administration, grooming, and training techniques. I also have experience with dogs with anxiety, such as storm, car, separation or floor anxiety. I guarantee that your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority! I work from home so I will be available full time for the majority of your pet’s stay, they will never be left alone! We have a toddler and a baby so we don’t leave the house much these days. I can accommodate almost all schedules and needs, I am extremely flexible and here to work with what’s best for your pet and their schedule. My home has a large fully fenced-in backyard and with an abundance of windows for pups to look out, they’ll never be bored! I have a two-story open floor plan that is adequately dog-proofed and while pups can roam free, I do have specific areas baby-gated off which helps keep everybody secure if I need to leave the area. Sleeping arrangements are very flexible, pups are welcome in bedrooms or we can accommodate crates, you would just need to provide your own! I have towels and blankets I can provide, as needed. Plenty of comfy furniture for pets to hang out on, rugs covering active spaces (for dogs with floor anxiety). My husband will be helping out, along with our dog (mid-sized 10 year-old hound mix), two cats, a toddler and a six month old! Our dog is very patient and calm, she gets along with every dog and will warm up and be playful after a little time together. My toddler loves playing with dogs and has learned to be gentle and kind, she will be their little bestie! There is also a great neighborhood dog park nearby I can take dogs to on the weekends. My neighborhood is walkable in case you’d like your pup to be exercised.

About: I have several years of hands-on experience providing compassionate care for dogs of all ages and breeds. I've taken care of dogs of every kind for as long as I can remember and have somehow made myself my family and friend’s designated dog sitter :) - and currently volunteer at Metro Animal Care & Control in Nashville, and am a current foster parent for their sweet babies looking for their fur-ever home. What sets me apart (or perhaps doesn’t on an app like this ;)) is my attention to each dog's unique needs and genuine love of animals. Whether it's giving extra patience and care to seniors with mobility or health issues (just recently lost my sweet Nova girl after 11 years) or helping energetic puppies with basic training, I’m committed to ensuring your dog feels safe, loved, and engaged. I’m also experienced in administering medication and understanding dog behavior, so I can quickly spot any signs of discomfort or stress. My goal is to create a seamless, stress-free experience for both you and your pet! I work from home, so I'll have plenty of time to play with and tend to all your pups needs. I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays - pretty much anytime. When caring for pets in my home or a client's home, safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality and individual needs to create a tailored approach to their care. For energetic dogs, I provide ample exercise and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged. For more anxious or senior dogs, I maintain a calm, predictable environment to reduce stress. In my home, I make sure the space is dog-proofed, clean, and free from hazards, with cozy spots for rest and plenty of room for play. If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I ensure their routine remains consistent, which helps ease any separation anxiety. I always respect your space, follow any instructions you provide, and send regular updates for peace of mind. I believe that every dog is different, so I prioritize clear communication with owners to adjust my approach as needed, ensuring that your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for, no matter the environment.

15. Christa W.
About: My name is Christa, I’ve been dog sitting for Rover in Tennessee for about 6 years. I reduced my work load to repeat clients only for a while and am ready to reopen my books back up to meet new and fun clients! I work full time from home for Lyft HQ. I work 4 days a week, Mon-Thurs 6:30 am - 5:00 pm with Friday-Sunday off. I enjoy dog sitting because it not only allows me to make some extra income, but I also get my much needed dog fix in! What better way to have all that, than to spend my extra time with your fun loving pup(or any other animal). I grew up with dogs and am used to being around all types. We all need a break and just that one favor can be a huge life saver. I'm here to help make sure your dog is well taken care of even when life gets a little crazy. I'm flexible & willing to go above and beyond. As stated above I do work 4 days a week, those are 10 hour shifts. My shifts can be flexible with enough notice and I'm happy to help before and after a shift and all day on my off days. I am more than happy to administer any meds that your pup takes orally with a treat. I am not comfortable with administering any injectable's, this does not mean that I will not or cannot take care of your pet, but you will need to have a friend or vet visits set up for anything that can’t be hidden in a treat. I currently live in a single level condo style home. I don’t have a “backyard”, but my complex does have a fenced in area for pups. For boarding or day care I’ll only be allowing one client at a time so no worries about issues with multiple dogs in the home. I do have two cats so there may be some side eyes and annoyed hisses but mostly they’ll hide. Most of my clients past and present have gotten to know me well enough to hire me outside of the app, so you can feel confident that I will love your pet like my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your babe! Thanks for considering me :) With my current full time position I don’t have a ton of extra time to leave during the day for drop ins, but am always willing to check as my day to day meetings change. Before/After my work hours and on my days off are the easiest to schedule. I will always be respectful of your home and space. I clean up after myself and make sure to leave it the way I found it. I will ensure we have a good way to keep in contact incase there are any emergencies or issues that arise. Your pet will always be safe with me.
16. Ebony C.
About: I’ve taken care of animals of all shapes and sizes since I was a child & would love to help with your furry child as well! I currently work from home and I make my own schedule so I am free to cater to you and your child’s needs at any time. I have a fenced in area at my complex specifically for pets to play. I also like to take walks in the park and would love to bring your pet along.
17. Mary G.
“Mary is probably the biggest animal lover I know! She is the mother of two dogs of her own which she’s had for many and are the most behaved pups I’ve ever seen. She treats them with love and affection, and almost never punish them that it’s a miracle they didn’t turn out to be spoiled troublemakers. Other dogs seem to instantly love her and it’s no surprise. I’m a cat owner myself, and she treats my kitten just as good, caring for her as if she was her own and scolding me when I make a mistake as I’m still new to this. Overall there’s nobody I would trust my pets with besides as I’m sure she’ll take care of them with her heart and soul!”
18. Sofia & Disney & Astrid P.
“Sofia and her whole family are awesome! My boy had so much fun!”
19. Taylor F.
About: I have been a dog owner for two years to an energetic, playful pittie. I also welcome foster pets into my home regularly, and I have experience with multiple pet personalities, both adult and puppies. I work a hybrid work schedule throughout the week so I am at home for some weekdays, and I’m off every weekend. On weekdays, we enjoy morning and evening walks, play time and rest breaks, and some backyard play time. Weekends allow for my doggie and I to enjoy walks exploring the Nashville parks and rec scenery! I have a secure, fenced in back yard and a friendly dog waiting to welcome your pet 😊 I ensure nothing hazardous is left out for pets to reach. If a conflict arises, I am skilled at separating and redirecting until tempers calm.
20. Amber R.
“Amber has watched my dog for me on several occasions while I go out of town for my profession. She updates me often with pictures of my dog. She has even kept Diamond for me on short notice when something has come up. She is very genuine when it comes to caring for animals and is someone you can trust. I would rate her 1000% if I could.”
