“So this was my very first time using Rover and I was very weary due to obvious reasons, letting a stranger into your home, around your fur babies, it can be very scary. I do have a live feed camera in my living room so, I decided to try rover. I saw Alexis’s profile and that she too, had cats and she works at a vet clinic. I immediately felt very comfortable choosing her. Each time I checked my little camera, Alexis was doing a PHENOMENAL job. She spoke to my cats exactly how I would, loved on them the way I would, spent good quality time with them, AND sent me lots of photos. About: I’ve had cats my entire life but after taking in my first senior cat, I realized how much more deeply I loved them. Scarlett is my second senior cat and getting her fully vetted after her rescue was an ordeal. She was malnourished and underweight, now she’s a big ol fluff ball! Currently, the only cat care I haven’t executed is hand rearing kittens. I administer meds to 2 of my cats daily so giving meds is a non issue 🫶🏻 I’ll treat your babies like they’re my babies.

About: I've taken care of many different types of animals since I was 10 years old. I have recently watched my neighbors dogs for weeks on end. I have a great joy for animals and feel they bring me as much if not more joy than I might them. I'm about to be on summer break, so I will have flexibility to drop in whenever needed to take care your pet. I'm an early riser so I can always take them out early as desired. I am very dependable and consistent in taking care of your pets needs. I have a wonderful hiking area behind my house I'd be willing to take your pet to if needed. About: Current work schedule: I go in office 3 days a week but I can possibly I can flex my days. Available for services with that in mind! I need at least a week for new clients to schedule a meet & greet! I do not accept daycare & boarding without one because I require our pets to meet ahead of time so we can assess if they would be a good fit together. Aside from growing up with small dogs all around, I have solo cared for my senior rescue for the last 6 years up until his passing of old age. I have experience with both puppy and senior dog care, and am very careful with any physical concerns such as arthritis. I have experience administering oral medication both through treats and syringing food. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. “Keegan is exceptionally gifted with animals. She bonded immediately with our Sheltie Dani, whom she walked all summer. In fact he looked for her first thing when he got out of his crate. Having grown up on a ranch, she has a wealth of information about animals. This proved extremely helpful because at just over a year old, Dani is still a puppy. She conscientiously told us anything unusual that he did, e.g. yesterday he surreptitiously ate a small rock, typical puppy behavior. She came back everyday with stories of Dani’s antics (he loves to chase dragon flies!), showing how she lets animals into her heart. Keegan is extraordinary. We hate to see her go back to college in OK. We and Dani look forward to more walks when she comes home from school at the holidays!”

When I have to leave your home to let my dogs out, your pet will stay on the pre-set bathroom break schedule max 4 hours. I will take your dogs out for walks if requested for drop in visit and house sitting bookings or I will make sure they get exercise in your home playing with their toys. For my cat clients I will make sure they get their exercise with their toys and they will get fresh food, water, and a clean box each day. Rates for House Sitting clients are higher to reflect on current gas prices and multiple travels to and from your home.

I do whatever makes their fur babies happy and have a great day while in my care.
