About: Hi! My name is Grace, and I had the honor of being a proud pet owner for nearly 20 years. I had the opportunity to care for my dog, Marley, for 13 beautiful years, and my cat, Tigger, for almost 20! Growing up with pets taught me respect, responsibility, and safety around animals from a young age, and has allowed me to take part in many other pet caring opportunities since then! I give my time to all pets in my care, young or old, and it is always a fun time, every time! I have loved animals my entire life, and I will treat your pet as my own, along with giving them the best experience I would want my own pet to be given! I am currently available on select weekends, and can also fit time in during the week in the evenings, whether it be a walk, feeding, or even bath-rooming. I experience housesitting for others between 2-14 days at a time. I am a teacher during the day and a dance coach in the evenings, and due to this schedule, I am unavailable for drop-in’s between 7am-5:30pm. I am very patient when it comes to taking care of pets, and am attentive to their individual needs. I give appropriate reinforcement, along with discipline when needed. I am unable to care for pets in my own home at this time, but am more than willing to care in your own home, if needed!

About: I have cared for over 30 dogs over my lifetime and grew up surrounded by dogs! Experience with all ages and temperaments. I love all animals and I can’t wait to meet yours! I am an accountant who travels occasionally for work but mostly work in office, which allows for a pretty flexible schedule to care for you cute pets in between commitments! I love animals and it’s rough to be away from my furry family! Happy to stay with your pet in your home, respectful to your things and space. About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. About: We have had cats and dogs in our family my entire life. I was born and raised caring for our animals as family members. We have always had multiple cats and dogs, as well as assorted other critters. A few years ago, I lived in Madison working at a Doggy Daycare. There we had lots of training in dog body language and behaviors. I spent each day looking after a pack of at least 20 dogs. That job helped me gain lots of experience working with all kinds of different dogs, behaviors and personalities! The doggy daycare also implemented behavioral training. Each day we would work with the dogs and puppies to make sure we were working on positive behaviors with positive reinforcements! I am currently available to help be there for your furbabies and their needs! I would love to be the one to help them feel comfortable while you're away! I live in a spacious, pet friendly duplex. The current tenants include: my husband and myself, our two cats, Mister and Nilla, and my leopard gecko, Echo! I have access to plenty of areas to run and play, as well as a place to get plenty of cuddles! The care I give your pets will match what they need. I know that your fur babies are special and important to you and I intend to treat them as if they were my own. My place or yours, your furry friend will feel at home!
About: Animals and pets of any kind have held a special place in my heart for most of my life. I have experience dog sitting animals 10- 80 lbs and have cared for as many as 3 at a time. About: They say to do what you love and make a career out of it. I’m just grateful my career gets to be with dogs. I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility in the area, so I am certified with dog and cat behaviors and have seen the ups and downs of our fur babies, and I am still standing here happy to tell you all about their stay/session. I have also grown up with working farm dogs and have gone on to own a Great Pyrenees who isn’t quite a working dog but sure does “work” like one. Pet care for me starts at dawn lol My pups come for cuddles and a potty break first sight of my eyes opening. Most of the time this does align with my schedule in the 6 am timeframe. Our family does always thankfully have one person home at all times, so while kennels are still utilized in our home for various situations, your pups can expect to stay in a home environment while here :) While I personally do not have a yard, my family does own large pasture fields and hills that we will typically walk daily. These colder seasons do affect how often we go out due to the snow and unplowed hills. However in that safe weather we make it a main priority to keep active with our pups to maintain a healthy and long life for them. Safety is priority number one. Thankfully my family is pretty much set up for success here. We are knowledgeable for food, behavior, and play safety with dogs and cats. Signs and symptoms of common issues with dogs and cats, based off personal experiences, and possible fears of what ifs, urinary cat blockages and bloat, or bloody stools. And while I understand dog body language and know how to avoid those tense situations dogs can create, I am incredibly quick to say when we are going to the emergency vet, gosh forbid.
About: I’ve taken care of a wide range of pets. From cats, dogs, birds, rodents and farm animals. I am also able to take care of animals with higher needs. I’ve had elderly pets who need medication and animals that I have found with injuries that I took care of. I am available all week and I occasionally visit my parents on the weekend. Other than that I do not leave town often, if I do ever have a trip planned I would update my schedule. I know how important routines are so sticking to what is requested is essential. Animals that need to be kept separate is also an important thing to know.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and honestly can’t remember a time when I wasn’t surrounded by pets. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
