About: Hello I'm Elliot! I have grown up around animals my whole life- we've had a Pomeranian Chihuahua named Kirby for about 11 years now and I take care of him frequently when I'm back home from college and over the summer. I also have two guinea pigs of my own, and have had a hedgehog in the past so I am very well versed in smaller pets! I frequently took care of pets for my neighbors and friends when I was younger, including cats, fish, and many many dogs! I was also involved in the Lincoln Children's Zoo-crew volunteer program for 4 years, where I spent time learning how to take care of all kinds of animals. I currently co parents a cat with my partner, and have always had a special place in my heart for cats! I also enjoy volunteering at the ECCHA in my free time with their cats. I am currently located in Eau Claire, WI for all your pet care needs! As of right now I have availability on most Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends unless otherwise indicated on my calendar. I’m available for drop in, walks, and even house sitting! I am unable to bring other pets into my home because I do have pets of my own and due to tenant restrictions, however, I am more than happy to visit your furry friends in your home or take them on walks outside the house! I prioritize any instructions you give me and want to make sure they feel at home no matter where they are.

About: Hello, my name is Taryn. I’ve had plenty of experience taking care of dogs as I have had dogs my whole life. Since middle school, I have been pet-sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. Not only have I had pet sitting experience with dogs, I have taken care of other animals as well. Those animals range from cats, bunnies, fish, and even chickens ! I will be able to provide you and your pets with the services you need! I just graduated from UW-Stout and am currently living in Eau Claire. I work at my main job on weekdays (in Menomonie). My hours vary, but they are usually only 7 hour shifts or less. I am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays unless I already have another gig booked. I am able to provide your pet with whatever service they need, ranging from making sure they have enough food and water to taking them on walks and providing them with entertainment! I am available for dog walking and drop-ins before 5pm on Mondays, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and after 5pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. As for house-sitting, I am available most days as long as your pet is okay with being alone for a few hours! I attend in-person classes Tuesdays and Thursdays, but would have an hour or two to come back to the house to check in! I currently do not offer doggy day care in my own home, but I will be able to keep your dogs company at their respective homes. I can walk them, feed them, play with them, keep them company, and more!

About: I’ve taken care of a couple of different types of dogs since I was young. My family and friends trusted their dogs in my care. I’m a college student looking for side work to make some extra money. but haven’t started classes yet, so I have a very open schedule. I create a calm safe environment as well as follow pet routines closely, I handle pets gently, always respect owners boundaries, and prioritize safety in my home and clients homes.

About: I want to help parents feel at ease if they have to be away from their fur babies. Let me make your away from home less stressful. I am available everyday for drop in visits, playtime or daily walks. I am available all weekend for extended visits and have reliable vehicle for travel or car rides I have a spare bedroom available as a doggie room or cat room if your pet would like more privacy and a fenced in back yard for safety but extra play space to exercise your pet.

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I regularly do weekend babysitting for a German shepherd and Australian shepherd. I also do drop-in visits for my friends cats when they are gone on vacations. I work full-time from home with the ability to bring my work laptop with me. I have meetings throughout the week but my schedule is pretty flexible. Most weekends I have availability to do walks or visits, though I am sometimes out of town to pet sit. During the week, I can do 1 morning walk before 8AM every day. Some days I have availability at noon for 1 walk as well. Those days will have an extra booking available! For drop-in visits, your pet will be in their own home where they are used to the environment, and I require an introductory visit before taking on new clients. This way we can guarantee a good match for your pet and I. For dog walking, I will provide the safest experience possible for your pet. I can even take them to dog parks if that is allowed. I also require an introductory meeting before taking new clients.

At my 8 plex building there is a much area to run around if they can be off leash otherwise the area is great to walk for potty breaks at anytime. I live in a safe, quiet and less trafficked area which will be great for walks!

About: I have taken care of my own pets and friends pets for many years. I enjoy dog walking, playing with toys, and cuddling up with pets! I am a student who is looking for extra work over the summer! My hours vary by day, so I’m looking for morning and evening dog walking/sitting! About: Whether it’s humans or animals I am a natural born caregiver. Caregiving comes very natural to me! I have 13 years of experience working as a certified nurse’s assistant. Happily taking care of the elderly in memory care settings and more recently as a hospice nurse’s assistant. I’m a very proud cat owner of 2 little chunks named Lila & Milo. I also volunteer and foster cats with the Eau Claire Humane Society. Professionally I worked part time as a dog kennel attendant for 5 years where I handled all kinds of dog breeds. Young to old, small to XL. I am happy to say I’m trained in dog CPR! I also have experience administering medications to dogs (oral) and cats (oral and injectable). Growing up I lived on the island of Maui. My family had 2 dogs, over 15 cats, 7 hamsters, 3 guinea pigs, numerous fish and I even had my own pet pig named Princess🥰 I’ve been an animal lover from the start! My dream is to open my own wildlife rehabilitation center someday. My schedule is extraordinarily flexible. I only work part time as a hospice aide. This means I have ample spare time to care for your pets! With enough notice, I can usually fit anything into my schedule. I am trained in dog CPR. Hydration is very important to me especially in warm weather. I keep a bin full of doggy bags, a water bowl, toys, an extra leash, etc in my vehicle so I always have access to it. I love taking dogs on walks or sitting outside to play with them (weather permitting).

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I'm currently working a full time job, however I still have plenty of time to watch your fur babies!! If anything changes I will let you all know ASAP!! I have two very friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can crate your dog if needed, or I can separate my dogs from your dogs if needed. I am a college student and my seasonal job recently ended so I have a full time schedule to commit to pet care. It will be my top priority. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special care instructions so they feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection, while always respecting your home's rules and your pet's normal schedule. With my experience working at a dog daycare, I'm comfortable recognizing different behaviors, handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and responding calmly in new situations. I always keep pets securely leashed during walks (unless in a safely enclosed area), monitor them closely, and make sure they have fresh water and a clean, safe environment.

About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and I always helped care for them as her oldest daughter. My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I work part-time at the flower shop and my schedule varies week to week based on their need, but I have lots of free time between weekdays and the weekend - I always have a free Sunday. I can easily arrange my schedule to allow for plenty of time between walks, play time, or check ups with animals. I will be brand new to Rover and open to meeting pets’ needs and routines as their human typically would! Right now, beyond my cat Momo, the only other animals I care for are my cousin’s dog and cat when she’s traveling and needs me to fill in, and I care for them as she would - from feeding routines to play time, walks, and cleaning.
