About: I have grown up with cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I regularly do weekend babysitting for a German shepherd and Australian shepherd. I also do drop-in visits for my friends cats when they are gone on vacations. I work full-time from home with the ability to bring my work laptop with me. I have meetings throughout the week but my schedule is pretty flexible. Most weekends I have availability to do walks or visits, though I am sometimes out of town to pet sit. During the week, I can do 1 morning walk before 8AM every day. Some days I have availability at noon for 1 walk as well. Those days will have an extra booking available! For drop-in visits, your pet will be in their own home where they are used to the environment, and I require an introductory visit before taking on new clients. This way we can guarantee a good match for your pet and I. For dog walking, I will provide the safest experience possible for your pet. I can even take them to dog parks if that is allowed. I also require an introductory meeting before taking new clients.

About: Hello, my name is Taryn. I’ve had plenty of experience taking care of dogs as I have had dogs my whole life. Since middle school, I have been pet-sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. Not only have I had pet sitting experience with dogs, I have taken care of other animals as well. Those animals range from cats, bunnies, fish, and even chickens ! I will be able to provide you and your pets with the services you need! I just graduated from UW-Stout and am currently living in Eau Claire. I work at my main job on weekdays (in Menomonie). My hours vary, but they are usually only 7 hour shifts or less. I am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays unless I already have another gig booked. I am able to provide your pet with whatever service they need, ranging from making sure they have enough food and water to taking them on walks and providing them with entertainment! I am available for dog walking and drop-ins before 5pm on Mondays, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and after 5pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. As for house-sitting, I am available most days as long as your pet is okay with being alone for a few hours! I attend in-person classes Tuesdays and Thursdays, but would have an hour or two to come back to the house to check in! I currently do not offer doggy day care in my own home, but I will be able to keep your dogs company at their respective homes. I can walk them, feed them, play with them, keep them company, and more!

About: I bring a calm, friendly presence that helps pets feel safe and relaxed while their people are away. I’ve grown up with animals and currently care for a few clients’ pets in Eau Claire — including a 3-week stay with multiple pets. I know how important routines are, and I pride myself on clear communication, clean homes, and happy tails. Whether it’s a quick walk or a full house sit, I’ll follow your instructions to the letter and treat your pets like my own. I’m flexible, detail-oriented, and truly love getting to know each animal’s personality. My goal is always to create a stress-free experience — for both you and your furry family. I currently bartend and this allows for more flexibility and available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, or house sitting throughout the week — your pet’s needs come first in my day! I have no pets at my home so my casa is your pets casa with no interference. At my 8 plex building there is a much area to run around if they can be off leash otherwise the area is great to walk for potty breaks at anytime. I live in a safe, quiet and less trafficked area which will be great for walks!

About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and I always helped care for them as her oldest daughter. My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I work part-time at the flower shop and my schedule varies week to week based on their need, but I have lots of free time between weekdays and the weekend - I always have a free Sunday. I can easily arrange my schedule to allow for plenty of time between walks, play time, or check ups with animals. I will be brand new to Rover and open to meeting pets’ needs and routines as their human typically would! Right now, beyond my cat Momo, the only other animals I care for are my cousin’s dog and cat when she’s traveling and needs me to fill in, and I care for them as she would - from feeding routines to play time, walks, and cleaning.

About: I know what it takes for a dog to have a wonderful time! Too many dogs spend their days stuck in a kennel, and it breaks my heart. I also believe that it helps a dog to stay in familiar surroundings. I offer in-home pet-sitting, not just for your convenience, but for the best interests of your dog. I’ve raised dogs all my life. Over time, my interests turned to breeding and showing. I presently have my own dogs, Stanley and Stella. 2 mini shar pei. These experiences have made me deeply aware of what a dog needs to be happy and healthy. About: I volunteered at an animal shelter for two and a half years. My family has had many pets and I was always their primary caretaker. Currently, I have had my dog for 8 years and my husband and I recently adopted our cat Buster together. I have also had experience with smaller animals like guinea pigs and rabbits. I am able to walk, bathe, brush, clip claws, feed, exercise, and play with cats and dogs of all ages. I am a teacher so I am available mostly during evenings for drop in visits and walks. During common break times such as Spring Break or summer I would be available for overnight house sitting. Weekends are usually fully open! I am experienced in keeping animals safe and healthy. This includes playing and exercising with them, making sure they get food and water, and cleaning after them.

About: My family has always had at least one dog, and I love helping with them and spending time with them. I’ve helped raise several puppies and have trained one dog almost completely by myself including showing her in rally, obedience, and agility. I am a big fan of positive reinforcement and will always seek to make dogs feel comfortable and safe. I just graduated, so aside from working part time, I have a lot of free time and availability I can spend watching dogs! I love being outside and can walk dogs for many hours a day. I’m active and strong and can easily walk and handle big or small dogs. I can crate feed and pick up after dogs as needed.

About: I grew up with animals since I was a child. Cats, dogs, horses, sheep, you name it we had it. In addition, I have pet sat for a number of families that I have nannied for in the past. I’m comfortable giving medication, taking walks, playtime, and any attention they may need while you’re gone. I am currently on the job hunt, so my days are flexible. I’m available for mornings, afternoons, and evenings. As well as weekday and weekends. I am not able to take care of animals at my home at this time, but look forward to providing safe care at your home.

About: They say to do what you love and make a career out of it. I’m just grateful my career gets to be with dogs. I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility in the area, so I am certified with dog and cat behaviors and have seen the ups and downs of our fur babies, and I am still standing here happy to tell you all about their stay/session. I have also grown up with working farm dogs and have gone on to own a Great Pyrenees who isn’t quite a working dog but sure does “work” like one. Thank you for reading through my short history and I am super excited to update this with my accomplishments to come! Pet care for me starts at dawn lol My pups come for cuddles and a potty break first sight of my eyes opening. Most of the time this does align with my schedule in the 6 am timeframe. Our family does always thankfully have one person home at all times, so while kennels are still utilized in our home for various situations, your pups can expect to stay in a home environment while here :) While I personally do not have a yard, my family does own large pasture fields and hills that we will typically walk daily. These colder seasons do affect how often we go out due to the snow and unplowed hills. However in that safe weather we make it a main priority to keep active with our pups to maintain a healthy and long life for them. Safety is priority number one. Thankfully my family is pretty much set up for success here. We are knowledgeable for food, behavior, and play safety with dogs and cats. Signs and symptoms of common issues with dogs and cats, based off personal experiences, and possible fears of what ifs, urinary cat blockages and bloat, or bloody stools. And while I understand dog body language and know how to avoid those tense situations dogs can create, I am incredibly quick to say when we are going to the emergency vet, gosh forbid.

About: Hey there! I am an animal lover to the core. Let me be your pet's new best friend while you are away! I recently moved back to the Midwest to be closer to family, about two years ago. I was traveling constantly for work, but am now full time work from home. When I lived in another state for work, I did pet care as a part time job with private clients weekly. I grew to absolutely love it and would love to get established back in Wisconsin. I grew up with dogs, cats, and cows my entire life - being raised on a farm. I am the type of person who can’t stop without petting a dog whenever I see one! Providing companionship to your pet is my favorite thing to do. We can go on walks, eat food, and watch the latest Hulu show together! Your fur baby is welcome to sleep with me, on the floor, or in any bed or crate you bring. My two rescue cats absolutely LOVE other animals, so there is no worry there. They are so curious and eventually become besties! Since I am work from home full time now, so I am extremely flexible and they will have constant attention. I do live in an apartment, BUT, I am right next to the walking trail in River Prairie (the loop). I would be more than happy to go on as many walks as needed, and enjoy some sunshine with your fur baby! So do not worry, they can be outside as much or little as you’d like. I am open to care of all animals, all sizes, and all ages. If wanted, I visit my family farm quite often where we have extensive yard and land to run on. It is 100% an option for me to take your pet there if you want them to have some extra smells, especially if they stay long term with me. I’m extremely flexible and want you to not have to worry! While I traveled full time for work in the past, constant updates on my animals back home was crucial to me. I will provide as much or little communication you’d like. I’m here to meet you and your pet where you’d like and keep being away from them stress free. I promise they are in such caring hands! I work from home most days and go on daily walks myself! I would love to have a companion along with me to help make my place less lonely! During the weekends I can give even extra attention! I have access to the loop walk near River Prairie where i can take your pet for a potty break or for a walk! Depending how far they like to go - I can do the full three miles with them, or cut it shorter! I will be here with them to provide food, water, and care. Your pet will be my number 1 priority while I am with them!
