“We recently moved to Eau Claire and we don’t have many friends or family in the area yet and we decided to try out Rover. We found Korah and decided to give it a try. She almost immediately responded to being able to watch Bentley and she was more than willing to come meet in person before she was going to check in on him later. She made us feel very comfortable leaving Bentley with her. I 100% recommend her and we will definitely book with her again in the future. Thank you Korah for taking care of our baby Bentley ❤️”

About: I love all animals! I have grown up having dogs and cats. I have a friendly Samoyed named Aurora. I used to work at petco in the grooming salon doing baths, clipping nails, and brushing. I would love going on a walk with your pet and take them to a park to throw a ball or a frisbee. I enjoy being outdoors so it would be fun to play with your pet! I can also take care of your cat and clip nails if I notice them to be long! I am available on weekends and during the day for walking. It would be a pleasure to be able to care for your pet so you can run errands or get out of town. I will care for them as if they were my own It’s fits in during the weekends because I am off and I know that people are wanting to go away for the weekend so I would be more than happy to take care of their animal I love taking dogs on walks and would make sure that anytime they are sniffing something that they aren’t sniffing anything bad that they could get into.
“Kristy did a fantastic job, I couldn't have asked for anyone better to check in on my cats and make them feel comfortable. She sent pictures and they looked very happy with her. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars!”

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience working at a dog daycare, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. That experience taught me how to recognize body language, safely manage group play, handle high-energy dogs, and provide calm, patient care for shy or anxious pets. I'm active, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, cuddles, or someone to stick to their daily routine, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I treat every pet like they're my own, and my goal is to give you peace of mind knowing they're in caring, capable hands. I am a college student and my seasonal job recently ended so I have a full time schedule to commit to pet care. It will be my top priority. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special care instructions so they feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection, while always respecting your home's rules and your pet's normal schedule. With my experience working at a dog daycare, I'm comfortable recognizing different behaviors, handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and responding calmly in new situations. I always keep pets securely leashed during walks (unless in a safely enclosed area), monitor them closely, and make sure they have fresh water and a clean, safe environment.
About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and I always helped care for them as her oldest daughter. My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I work part-time at the flower shop and my schedule varies week to week based on their need, but I have lots of free time between weekdays and the weekend - I always have a free Sunday. I can easily arrange my schedule to allow for plenty of time between walks, play time, or check ups with animals. I will be brand new to Rover and open to meeting pets’ needs and routines as their human typically would! Right now, beyond my cat Momo, the only other animals I care for are my cousin’s dog and cat when she’s traveling and needs me to fill in, and I care for them as she would - from feeding routines to play time, walks, and cleaning.
“Molly was an incredible cat-sitter for a whole week. She took our cat to the backyard on a harness for walks at our request, played with him, brushed him, fed him, and gave us great photos of all of this to boot—even some action shots. We came home and he was totally at ease, clearly having just made a new friend. She took up our offer to do a meet and greet and was very communicative and thorough in all aspects. She even noticed when the litter robot was getting low on litter and offered to replenish it, even though she hadn’t deal with one before. We will definitely be requesting her for future trips if she’s available! Thank you, Molly!”

“Hailee! What an awesome gal! Prompt and polite and courteous! Your communication and flexibility is amazing and we love that you have a way with animals. Muggs appreciates you! 🐾🙌🏼”

“I had an absolutely wonderful experience with our pet sitter, Emily! She is attentive, caring, and made our fur babies feel right at home. Our pets were happy and relaxed when we returned, and we received regular updates and photos while we were away. I couldn't be more grateful for her excellent service and will definitely be booking Emily again for our next trip. Highly recommended!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Eau Claire
Korah was absolutely amazing with our pups! She is very kind and caring, and really put their happiness and wellbeing first. One of our dogs is elderly and has unique needs where Korah was attentive and went the extra mile to ensure her comfort. I had zero worries with them in her care while we were away.

Second time booking with Natascha for drop in visits for my cat! Followed care instructions, sent photos, and checked in after the last visit. After a very traumatic experience with a previous sitter for my dog (that resulted in harm to my dog and surgery), it took me 2 years to even think about booking visits for my cat. Natascha is trustworthy and I knew my cat was in great hands! Would 100% recommend.

Jason was AMAZING! This was my first experience with Rover and Jason answered all of my correspondence promptly! He showed up to all of the visits on time and made sure to communicate with me with how my dog was doing (she can have an anxious personality but she clearly was so happy to have him there!). I will absolutely be booking with Jason again!!

This was my first time booking through Rover. Rae Ann was amazing! She took such great care of my pets and kept me updated every day with photos and messages about how things were going. It made me feel much better knowing they were in very good hands. My pets looked happy and relaxed when I got home. I would definitely book with Rae Ann again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
