Jessica has been the absolute best. My Zoey girl is very shy and bit tough to get going sometimes but she always does it with such gentle hands. She always sends a checkup picture after the walk and she is very punctual. 10/10 recommend her services.

About: I have taken care of pets for 30 years. I enjoy their lack of talk back and when they show affection after building trust. Great feeling! I currently work from home when needed and have plenty of time to spend with your pets and giving them the best care day or night. I have two cats and they are indoor outdoor. I would love to spend time walking dogs and building trust with them. I do dog sit and walk my neighbors small dog.

About: I worked as a dog groomer at Petco, so I’ve handled everything from energetic pups to shy or nervous dogs. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, and giving them lots of attention so they feel safe and happy while you’re away. With my part-time schedule, I’ve got lots of time for walks, playtime, and care. I’m available most weekdays outside of 2–5 PM and have open availability on weekends. When I’m in your home, I treat it and your pets with a lot of respect. I stick to your dog’s normal routine as much as possible—whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or potty breaks. I always keep a close eye on their behavior and make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. If I’m staying overnight, I make sure they feel relaxed and not alone, just like you never left.

About: I don’t just watch dogs—I engage with them. I have a passion for training, so I naturally reinforce good behavior, structure, and basic commands while I’m with your dog. I’m patient and attentive, whether I’m working with a young dog building habits or a senior dog who needs a calm, gentle approach. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, cared for, and more balanced when you return. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I structure my schedule so I can give each pet my full attention during visits or stays, making sure they feel safe, cared for, and comfortable. I care for pets in their own home by keeping everything as familiar and stress-free as possible. About: My love for animals began as a child and I have cared for many animal companions. I love all animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, small mammals, snakes, some large animals etc. I am able to administer medications your family member might need. Walks/exercise tailored to your pet's needs. Trips to the park or trail, get a puppachino, a run to the vet, or the groomer, I can be at your service! Vacationing in the area? I can drop in to your vacation rental to take your pooch for a walk or feed the cat! My visits are minimum 30 minutes, and overnight really means overnight. I am the human companion for two dogs, Roxie and Dixie, who claim our domicile as their own. Owned by an African Grey Parrott who thinks she is a pirate, so birds are on the list as well. Clean food, water, and enclosures, along with enrichment are points I can help with. I'd be happy to come over and chat or read to your bird. Recent Animal Welfare experience. I take lots of photos and videos and send them to you. We have just moved to the area and I am looking forward to meeting the awesome pets in the area! Currently Rover jobs are my only focus for employment as we settle in to our new home and community. At this time, I am not able to offer care for pets in my own home. Looking to change that soon! Thank you! All pets in my care, your place or not, are treated as I would my own.

Judy is the best! I had hip surgery & needed someone to walk my dog Roxy. On very short notice, I sent a request to Judy on Rover & she quickly responded that she could help me out. She came the next day & when Roxy & I met her, you could just tell how much Judy truly loves dogs! She got down on the ground & Roxy was all over her with kisses. I always said that dogs know what people are genuine dog lovers & who are not. Roxy knew right away that Judy was the walker for her. I totally agree! Judy’s been walking Roxy for over 2 weeks now…she is always on time & is constantly in contact with me. I highly recommend her!

About: Hello, My name is Trevor. I am offering my services for walking and house sitting. I have grown up with my mom pet sitting. She is a highly rated rover sitter who provides all kinds of care. I enjoy helping her with the dogs and cats she cares for. It’s nice to meet new people and also get to know a lot of different breeds. We volunteer at the humane society in our spare time. I can assure you your baby / babies will be well taken care of I am 18 yrs old and a senior in high school. I do home schooling so my schedule is pretty open. This will allow me to be able to work around your needs. For dog walks I will speak to the owners about time limits. I know some breeds can’t be in the heat too long or walk too far. If the heat is too hot I will suggest to the owner maybe a different time to keep your baby safe. House sitting I would go over all details with owner and make sure I follow their feeding schedules etc. communication is the key 😀

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
