“Nicole was absolutely wonderful! She is so professional and lovely to work with. It was such a relief not having to worry if my 2 cats were in good hands when I went home for Christmas for a week with my family. She sent daily pictures and updates that showed that she not only took care of them, but genuinely cared for them as well. I highly recommend Nicole for any pet needs and would absolutely use her again to watch my cats or dog!”

“Olyssia was amazing with both of my dogs! One is very protective and can be aggressive with new people, but he ended up loving her. My other dog is super friendly and loves everyone, and he was just as happy and well cared for. I got updates for each visit and knew they were in good hands. I would 100% recommend Olyssia and will definitely be booking again!”

“The cats were happy, well fed and groomed, she sent us great details on our daily check in, and evening was neat and tidy when we returned!! Fantastic job.”

“Lourie is AMAZING!!! She picked up last minute when another canceled less that 24 hrs before I had to leave. She did a meet and greet with less than 12 hrs and knew how to calm my 10 yr old girl within minutes. She fed, played with her, and took her for walks while I was away. Our baby girl loves her and so do we. I will never work with another doggo sitter than Lourie. She even left us treats and a note. Amazing! Thank you Lourie!”

About: I have had many dogs since I was born and have owned many animals including hamsters and snakes. I have treated minor illnesses in dogs before and know multiple emergency vet offices nearby. I am comfortable giving medicines and keeping strict routines and diets. I excel in reading animal body language and understanding and avoiding triggers. I attend College classes Mondays and Wednesdays. I also have a part-time job that I work Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. I usually wake up around 7:30 and have a relaxing morning to myself. I spend my free time at home doing school work and hanging out with my dog and cat. I have a 3/4 acre lot with a six foot chain link fence. I have a Shar-pei American Bulldog mix and a Domestic Shorthair cat, both do well with other animals and can be contained if the need arises. Animals get fed twice a day, 1/2 a cup each morning and evening for the puppy and 1/4 cup each morning and evening for the kitty. The animals are let out freely as we have a screened in pool with a dog door. Toys are preferred but if your baby likes the dog park I know of many and am willing to go with them. Animals are not allowed on the furniture but can get plenty of snuggles on the floor!
About: I have taken care of pets for 30 years. I enjoy their lack of talk back and when they show affection after building trust. Great feeling! I currently work from home when needed and have plenty of time to spend with your pets and giving them the best care day or night. I have two cats and they are indoor outdoor. I would love to spend time walking dogs and building trust with them. I do dog sit and walk my neighbors small dog.

For over 30 years, people have told me I put them at ease right away, knowing their pet is in my care while they're away. I'm outgoing and easy to reach, so you'll always know how your pet is doing while you're away. If you want someone who will love your dog or cat like their own, that's exactly what you'll get with me 😊. My work schedule allows me to be fully free Sunday through Tuesday as I only work from Wednesday to Saturday. I am available on Sunday - Tuesday anytime of the day for in-home visits or dog walking services in the morning, midday, and evening. For in-home visits, I adjust to however you'd like your pet cared for, so their care is always tailored to their needs. For dog walking, safety comes first. I always walk on leash and stay within whatever boundaries we've arranged together before the visit.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life. I’ve raised puppies well into their senior years. Befriending pets and animals I pass by is a pastime and typically a successful one. I’m able-bodied and can walk, run, play, or chill depending on the needs of your companion! I can make evening/nightly visits during the weekday or spend some time during the weekend depending on needs or availability! While I’m currently without any pets of my own, I do miss the joy of caring for a pet and can make do with what needs to be! Though my home is unavailable for your pets, I will ensure your home remains in the same condition I found it in with a happy animal!
About: Hi! I’m Amanda, a local twin mom living in Hobe Sound and a lifelong animal lover. I know how hard it is to leave your pets behind when you’re traveling or working long hours. As the proud owner of two huskies and multiple rescue pets over the years, I understand that pets aren’t “just animals” they’re family. I have experience with energetic breeds, senior pets, medication routines, feeding schedules, and all the little quirks that make every pet unique. As a mom of twins, organization, communication, and multitasking are basically my superpowers. You can expect reliable care, frequent updates, photos, and lots of love while you’re away. Whether your pet wants a long walk, a game of fetch, belly rubs, or simply a calm companion, I’m happy to provide care tailored to their needs. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family! As a stay at home mother and wife with kids in school, my days are open and free to care for your furry family members! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have two friendly huskies of my own and understand that every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and house rules to ensure consistency while you’re away. I can crate your pet if requested and will always provide plenty of love, attention, exercise, and supervision. I also send regular photo updates so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I have a dog. I’ve had my dog for over 10 years. I have experience with high energy animals as well as older animals that like to take it slow. I have a open flexible schedule and vehicle. I work from home so I can be with my animal and yours. The animals come first in the house, they have a schedule and I follow it. I work from home and create my own schedule around my animals schedule. Gated dog park in neighborhood. Dog harness and leash while outside the fenced area. Pick up poop from dogs while on a walk. Open concept for inside lounging and play. Multiple dog beds and a large couch in the living room.

About: In addition to being a pet owner, I also worked at an animal shelter where I received specialized training on animal behavior. My friends and family have trusted me with their pets for 10+ years and I love working with dogs and cats. I’m currently working Monday-Friday until 3 or 4, but I have plenty of time in the evenings to go on walks, runs, and check in with your pets. I’m also free on weekends! I’m happy to stay close to home if that’s what your pet prefers, but I also have an SUV to take them to the beach, the dog park, or on a nice long walk. Unless we’re in a fenced in area, your pet will stay leashed while we run and play together!

“Mikayla is great, easy to work with and attentive to my fur baby. I appreciate her flexibility to take on drop in visits and to come and meet me prior to our trip. I think she’s has great patience and care with pets. I wish her schedule was more open to book her again. I’d recommend her for sure!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Pierce North
I had a fantastic experience with Nicole! I have two cats, one of whom is diabetic and requires insulin injections, so finding someone I could trust was very important. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and confident in caring for both of my cats. She communicated regularly, sent lots of adorable photos, and kept me updated on how they were doing. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
