“Nicole was absolutely wonderful! She is so professional and lovely to work with. It was such a relief not having to worry if my 2 cats were in good hands when I went home for Christmas for a week with my family. She sent daily pictures and updates that showed that she not only took care of them, but genuinely cared for them as well. I highly recommend Nicole for any pet needs and would absolutely use her again to watch my cats or dog!”

“I contacted Krista last minute about dropping in and checking on Kovu while we were gone on vacation. She was fantastic and made sure to send a picture updating us. I can tell by the way he was waiting by the door when we came home that he LOVED her lol. He looked at me like, Oh it’s only you 🤣 Krista thanks so much.”

“The BEST sitter in Orlando! She did drop-ins for my husky while me and my family were visiting NY. My dog loved her and she even tended to his fear of thunder. She will go the extra mile to make sure your fur baby is well-cared for. Definitely will rebook when the time comes!”

“Thank you for taking such great care of Mav! He really loves his park walks and his belly rubs! I was surprised he wanted to go to the beach, but then I remembered that he also loves rolling in the seaweed on shore. Thank you again!”

“Love Love Love Lauren. So did my dog Bentley. Loved seeing the photos from her and how Happy my baby Bentley looked. So lucky to have her come to my house. Bentley has anxiety on car rides so Not having to take him somewhere was great 💕”
“Carlie was wonderful! She came by the day before to meet my cats, which I really appreciated, and immediately put me at ease. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and clearly cared about making sure my cats were comfortable. While I was away, she took great care of them and kept me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend Carlie to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter, and I would happily book her again!”

“Olyssia was amazing with both of my dogs! One is very protective and can be aggressive with new people, but he ended up loving her. My other dog is super friendly and loves everyone, and he was just as happy and well cared for. I got updates for each visit and knew they were in good hands. I would 100% recommend Olyssia and will definitely be booking again!”

“Jessica was so awesome with my cat Ace. She followed all of my directions precisely, was respectful of my home, and took the time to make sure my cat felt loved with lots of pets and attention. She even fed the stray cat that hangs out around my house!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’ve volunteered at animal shelters since I was eight, where I gained hands on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I also fostered dogs, helping with training, socialization, and basic care. In college, I helped care for my roommate’s dog, and since then, I’ve continued dog sitting for friends and coworkers. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals, and well cared for while their owners are away. I currently work full-time but have a flexible job to be able to come home/check in at lunch time on animals. I am also able to stay in homes to ensure the pets are most comfortable. When caring for pets, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and loved in their usual routine. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, and care instructions exactly as provided. I spend quality time playing with them, giving attention, and making sure they get plenty of exercise and affection. I always keep the home tidy and ensure the pet feels calm and cared for while their owner is away.
“Bunny took good care of our cats Max and Noa. She sent us pictures of them and made sure that they were well taken care while we were out. Will definetly recommend her in you need someone to take care of you loved ones. Thanks for you help!”

I will care for your animals the same as you do, that goes as far as food, water, potty time, and kennel time as well as anything else.
About: I have had many dogs since I was born and have owned many animals including hamsters and snakes. I have treated minor illnesses in dogs before and know multiple emergency vet offices nearby. I am comfortable giving medicines and keeping strict routines and diets. I excel in reading animal body language and understanding and avoiding triggers. I attend College classes Mondays and Wednesdays. I also have a part-time job that I work Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. I usually wake up around 7:30 and have a relaxing morning to myself. I spend my free time at home doing school work and hanging out with my dog and cat. I have a 3/4 acre lot with a six foot chain link fence. I have a Shar-pei American Bulldog mix and a Domestic Shorthair cat, both do well with other animals and can be contained if the need arises. Animals get fed twice a day, 1/2 a cup each morning and evening for the puppy and 1/4 cup each morning and evening for the kitty. The animals are let out freely as we have a screened in pool with a dog door. Toys are preferred but if your baby likes the dog park I know of many and am willing to go with them. Animals are not allowed on the furniture but can get plenty of snuggles on the floor!

“Shelly was amazing! She watched our 3 cats while we were away. She also kept up with the house and litter which was amazing because my house didn’t smell like a giant litter box when we came home. Everything was clean and fresh! Will absolutely be contacting her for future trips! Thank you so much Shelly!!”

About: Welcome to my account, I’m Caitlin. I've had pets my entire life and just to name a few cats, dogs, reptiles, birds and even rodents. A few years back I've started caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs who needed special attention such as insulin shots and oral medication. I’m currently working remote so my schedule is very flexible. I’m able to leave the house if I need to do a drop in visit or even work portable in your home. Since I’ll be commuting to your home, I will make sure to be punctual and follow your routine that has been created. I will make sure all necessities are met such as food, water, attention, exercise and safety.

About: In addition to being a pet owner, I also worked at an animal shelter where I received specialized training on animal behavior. My friends and family have trusted me with their pets for 10+ years and I love working with dogs and cats. I’m currently working Monday-Friday until 3 or 4, but I have plenty of time in the evenings to go on walks, runs, and check in with your pets. I’m also free on weekends! I’m happy to stay close to home if that’s what your pet prefers, but I also have an SUV to take them to the beach, the dog park, or on a nice long walk. Unless we’re in a fenced in area, your pet will stay leashed while we run and play together!

“I’ve rebooked with Allison. She took great care of my two cats! She played with them and gave them lots of love. She was also great with sending me pictures and updates. Definitely recommend!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Saint Lucie. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
