âCarlie has been wonderful with our four girls on every single occasion. On this particular date, we had an unexpected emergency and she stepped in without hesitation. Thankfully the issue was resolved quickly, but her flexibility and willingness to make sure our girls were taken care of while we were out of town was a life saver. We treasure her and highly recommend her.â

âKrista was such a huge help letting our dogs out during lunchtime! It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were getting attention and a break in the middle of the day. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about them. Weâre so grateful and would absolutely recommend her!â

About: I have had many dogs since I was born and have owned many animals including hamsters and snakes. I have treated minor illnesses in dogs before and know multiple emergency vet offices nearby. I am comfortable giving medicines and keeping strict routines and diets. I excel in reading animal body language and understanding and avoiding triggers. I attend College classes Mondays and Wednesdays. I also have a part-time job that I work Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. I usually wake up around 7:30 and have a relaxing morning to myself. I spend my free time at home doing school work and hanging out with my dog and cat. I have a 3/4 acre lot with a six foot chain link fence. I have a Shar-pei American Bulldog mix and a Domestic Shorthair cat, both do well with other animals and can be contained if the need arises. Animals get fed twice a day, 1/2 a cup each morning and evening for the puppy and 1/4 cup each morning and evening for the kitty. The animals are let out freely as we have a screened in pool with a dog door. Toys are preferred but if your baby likes the dog park I know of many and am willing to go with them. Animals are not allowed on the furniture but can get plenty of snuggles on the floor!
âTiffany was on time and very attentive to all our pets, 3 dogs and a cat! She followed all our instructions and played with each of them. I would be very happy to use her again. I felt very comfortable with her and she seemed to really enjoy our pets.â

âAna was absolutely wonderful and I canât recommend her enough!! She was responsible, communicative, and clearly very experienced with cats. My kitty is extremely shy and usually takes a long time to warm up to new people, but she took to Ana surprisingly quickly, which says everything. I came home to a happy, relaxed kitty and could tell she had been very well taken care of. If you're looking for someone smart, trustworthy, and great with animals, Ana is a fantastic choice. I would absolutely book her again.â

âMicah is wonderful with my dogs, even with all our(theirs and mine) quirks. Thank you from an occasional overbearing dog mom. I donât worry when I know he is visiting.â
âWill most definitely use Michelle again if she will want to. Was able to leave and not worry one second about the pups. Awesome. 5 stars because I canât give 6!â

About: I have taken care of dogs as well as cats since I was 10 years old when I got my first pet a small dog named bandit. Since then we have welcomed two wonderful cats into our home who I took care of until I went off to college. When I started to drive I got the opportunity and trust of students and parents at my school to watch there dogs while they were out of town or on vacation. However, when I went off to college I was unable to keep at it. Until this year that is. When I was recommended by that same family to watch some other dogs that were in my area. They travel a lot for softball mostly on the weekends so it was a good fit. I am ready to now expand into new territory here in west Palm beach! I currently am a full time student at Palm beach Atlantic university but I have a shorter day on Mondayâs, Wednesday and on Friday's. I can also do weekends if needed. I do occasionally go home to take care of some other pets on the weekends but it is not consistent so it should not be a problem. I usually take care of pets in the clients home since I currently am living in a dorm. Depending on what you need me for I could take care of your pet any way that you need me to! If you need me to let your pups out three times a day I could do that! But twice is just as good too! I will love your pet like it is my own and take really good care of it so you will not worry when you are away! I can even send pictures of your pet so you can see that they are doing just fine.
âRobert was super friendly and a great fit for our fury friends. He came by in the middle of a storm to help walk feed and cleanup behind our pets before we were able to make it back in town. Will definitely be needing him again soon.â

âGemar was fantastic. Communication was quick and clear, and followed all instructions perfectly. Both of my dogs were well-fed, cared for, and genuinely happy when I got home. Gemar handled everything smoothly and I felt completely at ease knowing my pets were in great hands. Highly recommend and will definitely be rebooking!â

âKathy was just amazing! I was new to the area and didnât know anyone and she was so good with the dogs and made them feel comfortable while we were gone. I will definitely use her again.â

âOlyssia was amazing with both of my dogs! One is very protective and can be aggressive with new people, but he ended up loving her. My other dog is super friendly and loves everyone, and he was just as happy and well cared for. I got updates for each visit and knew they were in good hands. I would 100% recommend Olyssia and will definitely be booking again!â

Carlie was wonderful! She came by the day before to meet my cats, which I really appreciated, and immediately put me at ease. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and clearly cared about making sure my cats were comfortable. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
