About: Not only do I have 10 years of experience of pet sitting, I have experience working with shelter dogs. I’ve been with Placer SPCA as a volunteer for many years. I work with fearful, excitable, shy and even reactive dogs on a weekly basis. I make sure to give them the best care I can provide. I have plenty of free time and my shelter schedule is very flexible! I spend most of my time caring for pets or working with animals. I am someone that you can contact last minute for pet sitting! I will make sure that your pet gets all the love, care and attention your best friend could possibly need. I provide mostly overnight care, in which I make sure your pup is cared for in the same way you do every day. Building trust is very important to me, I’ll make sure to send pictures of your dog (or other animals) along with a report of how they are doing and any other info you may need.

About: I have cared for and loved animals since I was a little girl. I was raised in a house with dogs of all types and have continued to have them in my life. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. I work from home with my husband full time and we are always ready for fur baby snuggles on our couch and bed. We also live near a canal and trails, so dog walks are very frequent in our home. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are gone a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. Also, if you have any last-minute travel issues, I can almost always adapt to host longer to make sure you don’t have to stress about what will happen to your pup.

About: Served as a volunteer and foster parent for many rescued animals in Bali during the pandemic. My experience with animals is vast. Ive grown up with many different kinds of pets. Cats. Dogs. Birds. Reptiles. Rodents. Chickens. ducks. Donkeys. Horses. Pigs. Goats. You name it. I love all animals. I was raised in the foothills in the redwood forest. I’m a very down to earth and healthy lifestyle human who just loves fur babies of all types. I’m attentive and loving and playful with animals. I really need it as much as they do. I work early in the mornings off around 9am and then have most of the day to myself. It’s nice to have an excuse to take a dog on a walk or to lounge around with some kitty cuddles. Having animals in my home makes it feel more like a home. In my own home I will be in close proximity at all times and I will be home the entire time so I can sense when potty breaks or walks are needed. I really enjoy taking walks myself so it’s a perfect fit to have dogs over. Cats are similar with the exception of walks unless you want to leash train them or already have. I love to keep an eye on them so they don’t hurt themselves and I give lots of play time.

I appreciated the daily updates, photos, videos of my dog. He looked happy, calm, and secure. Lorena regularly asked questions, which meant I didn't have to anticipate everything. She didn't cut corners or make assumptions in her work. She asked and followed through with my requests. Insofar as taking care of our home, the home was left exactly as I left it. About: I have experience caring for lots of animals like cats and dogs. I had to help raise our kittens after their mom died when they were two weeks old. I have basic experience with animal care, special diets and medication, and showing them love and attention! I work part time several days a week during the day. Typically 6 hour days when I’m pet sitting. Depending on location, might be able to work something out if your pets can’t be home alone that long. I tend to spend time with the animals where I can be around them, such as being in the living room if they’re inside animals or checking on them often if they’re outdoors. Try to follow whatever schedule the animal needs to the best of my ability (such as feeding times or walks).
