A typical day
I adore playing with both dogs and cats and seeing their unique personalities come out. I am also a big fan of snakes and reptiles and exotic animals in general. I will always listen to my clients’ suggestions on usual walking locations/their pet’s comfortably before going out anywhere with them.

I am a compassionate life long animal lover. I’ve worked in animal hospitals with large boarding facilities, as the lead kennel technician, as well as being a veterinary assistant. I spent my days playing with and caring for other people's animals. I am able to give medications and tend to special needs animals. Though I left my hospital job when I moved here at the beginning of the pandemic, I've chosen to continue to work with animals because it is something that comes naturally to me & I feel that it's important to love what you do. I look forward to meeting new furry friends!

We have been using Shayna to watch our high spirited Jack Russell terrier for quite some time now for many long trips, and we continue to be amazed and grateful. Shayna always takes care of everything, even the unexpected. This time it was an unforeseen flea invasion, making it especially hard since our dog can’t use flea medication. By the time we got home, Shayna had stopped them in their tracks and the house looked great, as if nothing had happened. We highly recommend Shayna!!

Shayna once again came through for us so we could take a last-minute trip. Our high maintenance Jack Russell terrier absolutely loves Shayna and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to get away, knowing that our dog and house are in the best hands possible!!
We have used Shayna to watch our high-spirited Jack Russell terrier for many, many long vacations. Shayna stays overnight with our dog. She continues to be our all-time favorite dog sitter for many reasons! She’s very calm and attentive, and takes excellent care of our dog and our house. In addition, she is extremely trustworthy and reliable!!!
