My son is out of town and she went to his apartment to check on his cat, Luna. Luna is extremely shy and rarely comes out for anyone — she barely comes out for me — but Valerie was so patient and gentle with her. She stayed with Luna, sent me photos and updates, and even cleaned out a very unpleasant litter box that I truly didn’t expect anyone to deal with. That alone meant so much. You can immediately tell she has a genuine love for animals and such a kind, caring soul❤️. Valerie is recently retired and clearly does this because she truly loves animals, and it shows in the level of care she gives. I cannot say enough good things about her!! About: I’ve taken care of animals since I can remember. From family, friends, neighbors and even teachers, they have relied on me to feed, medicate, walk, groom, play and love their babies like my own. Every animal is different, but always loved! I’m currently and fortunately a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty open! During the school year, I’m available after 9am and could work afternoon needs around pick up times. School is about to be out, so my schedule would be open! I’m not doing in home services due to my rescue having a bad past and still working on trusting other dogs. In clients homes, I’d make sure to follow all requests, communicate what happened during the visit and have the utmost respect for their home/pet(s).

I’m comfortable with giving medications if needed and helping reinforce things like crate and potty training. I take the time to really learn each pet’s personality so I can meet them where they’re at and build trust at their pace. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy making time for in my day-to-day life! I’m organized and make it a priority to give each pet the attention and care they need while maintaining a consistent schedule. Even with classes starting up in the fall, I’ll still have the flexibility to provide reliable care and keep up with each pet’s routine. When caring for pets, my priority is keeping them comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I carefully follow all care instructions and make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and care. My goal is to create a safe, stress-free experience where pets can feel relaxed, happy, and well cared for in the comfort of their familiar surroundings.
