“I ended up needing a dog sitter for 18 days with only a week's notice. My dog is used to a house with 2 adults, 5 children, and 2 cats. I wanted her to be plenty stimulated with attention. Fortunately, Adolfo's profile popped up, and I was immediately comforted by his remarkable number of return customers and 5-star reviews. Clearly, he was not someone new to this gig! After I brought my very shy dog over to meet him, we agreed to close the deal. Adolfo boards many dogs at a time. He runs his house like a doggy day care or very personalized kennel: bedtimes, breakfast times, naptime. The video and photo updates were a riot. Dogs everywhere--playing, wandering, exploring--always under his watchful eye. It seemed like every video had 4 or 5 new dogs I hadn't seen in the previous videos! But while there are certainly a lot of other dogs, Adolfo still gives personalized attention. One video featured my dog getting what could only be described as a private swim lesson from Adolfo in a borrowed pool. By the end of her time with Adolfo, the pictures and videos were clearly showing my dog happily snuggling with him and playing with the other dogs. The main feedback I could offer was that my extended family was insistent that Adolfo needs his own YouTube show. Any producers out there? I have to say, Adolfo's set up is not like having your dog stay with a close family friend, where she or he will get the run of the house just like at home. The dogs are kenneled during bedtimes, naptimes, etc. But I don't know that I have ever met someone who so naturally cares for the dogs like Adolfo. Your dog will be kept healthy and happy. Well worth the cost!”
