About: I have had animals all of my life and have cared for them immensely. My family and friends say I have a special way with animals. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for almost 2 years and got lots of experience caring for dogs there as well as opportunities to sit outside of it which has become a huge part of my life. About: I am a veterinary assistant with IndyVet, where I work on the internal medicine team! In my free time, I foster and work hard to get my kitties adopted after fulfilling their medical and love-needs. I have had many dogs in the past, but have only fostered one. An English Bulldog with spina bifida-Lyla. She was disabled and completely incontinent, and required much care. I love and miss her dearly, she is now 2 years old and has been with her forever family for 2 years! If your pet has any medical needs, you can count on me to take care of them every step of the way. If you are someone who enjoys photos of your best friend, expect many! (In addition to Dannie, I also go by my nickname-Mae!) I recently graduated from Purdue and now work full-time on the internal medicine team at IndyVet. I am enrolled in a veterinary technician program online! Most of my nights I spend studying. My weekdays are spent in Indy, but my sibling (17, also in the animal care world) helps with walks during the day. Pets in my care are firstly loved on tremendously. About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals from a very young age. I’ve always thought that I liked spending time with animals more than people. And have always had a love for them. :) I work a part-time job that feels full time but that’s because I work with the public, however I’m trying to switch to something more flexible. About: My love for animals dates back to the many of nights I slept with my first “furry” best friend, Bruno (Golden Retriever), in his kennel. What resulted from that first love was an endless need to integrate the best skill-set to care for all family pets that followed. From potty training, to administering various medications for health/overall wellness, I am well rounded in what it means to show true care towards all pets. In caring for my own pets growing up, I showed my compassion for animals in the form of volunteering at various animal shelters in my town. About: Me and my husband moved to the U.S ten months ago from Sweden. I had a French bulldogg in sweden and miss him horribly. I have a soft spot for bulldoggs in general. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
