“Shadae was an excellent sitter. She sent multiple photos and updates each day. Our dog and cat seemed very comfortable and cuddly with her. We would absolutely hire her again.”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life! I have experience with dog sitting and dog walking! Always excited to meet a new puppy! I am free all afternoons! But if needed in the morning or evening let me know! I’m always willing to negotiate a schedule to whatever is easiest for you! Unfortunately I am in an apartment so I will not be able to pet sit at my home, but whenever your pet needs to go outside I will keep an eye on them (especially if there is no fence)! I am able to lead a pet into a crate if needed. If there is anything else you would like me to do while with your pet let me know!

About: I have experience with a variety of breeds of dogs. I have owned dogs that are super high maintenance, dogs that love to lounge, anxiety ridden dogs, and dogs that are on the spicy side. I understand the different cues of dogs and how to read their body language. I have experience in walking multiple dogs. I also have experience in training dogs. I trained my Shetland Sheepdog for 4H and we made it to the state fair. I also taught him many silly tricks. I can be a professional fetch player or a professional cuddler, whichever your dog prefers. I can also just be a treat giver if your dog prefers space. I am currently working part time as a server, but my schedule is very flexible. I am a recently graduated college student, with the hopes of going to graduate school in the coming semester. Animal trust is very important to me. It is important that I earn you and your animals trust, and we can grow to be best friends or acquaintances if your animal is not into that. I hope to make your time away from your animal as easy as possible.
“Ella went above and beyond in caring for our animals. Despite a miscommunication about the duration of pet care needed, she was incredibly accommodating and worked out a schedule that served us perfectly. We really appreciated her flexibility. We also had an issue with our garage door not opening, and Ella graciously went back and forth multiple times to check on the animals. Her commitment and kindness made all the difference. We highly recommend her!”

“Addison communicated with us the entire trip which was great. She is a very caring sitter and responsible and we appreciated her concern and overall care for our pets. I would definitely recommend her.”

“We rebooked Beth to watch our 4 dogs and once again, everybody was happy and healthy when we got home. Beth does a wonderful job. Dogs love her and so do we. We even came home to spotless house. Thanks, Beth! We appreciate you:)”

About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals from a very young age. I’ve always thought that I liked spending time with animals more than people. And have always had a love for them. :) I work a part-time job that feels full time but that’s because I work with the public, however I’m trying to switch to something more flexible. Evenings work best for me but knowing ahead of time I can do mornings too. My cats have free roam as it’s equally their house, however I can put them away. If it’s your home I can do whatever is asked for me. For outside I have a lot of land but it’s open.
“Darrin was great! He was communicative, sent photos, and was very easy to work with. He stayed at our home and took great care of our two dogs and cat, one of which had activity restrictions due to surgery. It was our first time having someone house sit and we felt very comfortable with him!”

About: I quickly form bonds of mutual respect with the pets I care for, I have a degree in veterinary science and use it frequently to provide the best care possible. My weekdays are always available, Friday through Sunday is typically my time off but on occasion, I will have limited availability on those provided days. If given instructions, they will be followed to a 'T' if no instructions are given then I will take care of them to the best of my ability with the knowledge.

About: I'm 50 years old, and have mostly owned pit bull breed dogs, but I love all breeds. From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. Boarding: I would love to open our home to your precious babies. Non smoking, fenced in yard, lots of walks in my small town. My dog friendly pup can't wait to play tag around the dining room table. All pets are welcome on the couches and have full access to the entire 1st floor, including the bed in the spare room. My husband and I work different shifts, so someone is usually always home. A maximum of 3 to 4 hours of an occasional overlap in shifts. I am able to crate your pet if preferred, or close off access to half of the living space. Before boarding, a few meet and greets are necessary. More details as we move forward. Cats: I will help with your cats, spending time, play, feed, clean litter boxes. I also have several years of experience with birds. I know how important socializing is to birds, and leaving them alone can cause problems and stress. Boarding of cats and birds can be discussed. As I'm nearing retirement from the Healthcare field, I would like to do more of what I love, which is caring for and spending time with animals. If I can do that for you, and ease your worry while you are away, it's a win for everyone! Reach out and let me help you today. As far as boarding your dog, my husband and I work different shifts, so someone is always home. A fully fenced back yard and good sniffer walks in my small town. Your dog is welcome on the couches and downstairs bed. Access to entire 1st floor. I can also crate if preferred. Baths and nail trims are no problem! I have a 60lb staffordshire terrier who loves all kids, people and dogs. It's playtime almost 24/7! Unless it's nap time and he's professional at that also!

About: I have had animals all of my life and have cared for them immensely. My family and friends say I have a special way with animals. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for almost 2 years and got lots of experience caring for dogs there as well as opportunities to sit outside of it which has become a huge part of my life. I have knowledge and experience on all sorts of problems that may arise in both cats and dogs including cpr. I am currently a full-time purdue student who takes most classes online so I have plenty of time to care for your fur baby! I love going on walks so you can guarantee your fur baby will get some long peaceful and smellful walks! So far I have done both in-home and in my home. I make sure to have a specific wake up sleep schedule so my animals and the ones I have watched have a routine and care. As I mentioned before I love walks… so walks are guaranteed! In the clients home I make sure to provide the same level of care and attention to the pet as I would my own or in my own home!
“Valerie was awesome! My dogs loved her and she was great about keeping us updated. It is hard to find reliable people to watch the dogs, so it’s nice to finally have someone near us to help!”

“I appreciate Shawn and his care for my pups. Having an older dog makes me a little nervous while away however Shawn communicates if there are any concerns, anything I need to know.”

“Emily was fabulous with our dog, he is always nervous when first meeting new people, but Emily was very patient and understanding of what he needed and soon they were great friends. Emily stayed in the house and left everything so tidy and was very respectful of our home.”

About: Hello! I’m Olivia. What sets me apart from other caretakers is my lifelong experience and genuine love for animals. I’ve lived with pets my entire life and also worked as an animal caretaker in my hometown, so caring for animals is second nature to me. I have experience with a wide range of breeds and personalities—from large dogs like Rottweilers and Bernese Mountain Dogs, to energetic Australian Shepherds, to small breeds like teacup Schnauzers, as well as cats. I enjoy working with pets of all ages, whether that means helping with the extra care senior pets need or providing the patience and energy for puppies. I also provide discounted bathing. As a student with open availability, I’m flexible and able to dedicate plenty of time to the pets I care for. I also welcome pets into my home, providing a safe and loving environment. Above all, I truly love taking care of all creatures, human or not, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have open availability for pet caretaking, which means I’m flexible and able to accommodate different schedules. As a student, I can easily adjust my time to fit your pet’s needs, whether that’s during the day, evenings, or weekends. In my home, I make sure pets feel comfortable and safe by giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and a calm environment. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, play, and any special instructions from their owner. Pets are welcome to relax wherever they feel most at home, and I make sure they always have fresh water, a cozy spot to rest, and lots of love. In a client’s home, I treat the space with respect while keeping the pet’s comfort and safety my top priority. I maintain their normal routine so they feel secure, and I provide companionship, exercise, and care just as if they were my own. Whether it’s walks, feeding, or extra cuddle time, I make sure every pet gets the attention and care they need.
About: I own several animals which include cats, dogs, and a leopard gecko. I love animals, and I am good with feeding on time, bathroom breaks on time, and I love to spend quality time with animals! I am good with puppy and kitten care as well. I am a house cleaner as well, so it tends to mix in with the pet care. I am consistently taking care of myself, my house, and my animals. I walk my dog every day, I feed all of my animals at the same time every day, I keep regular vet appointments, and all of my animals are up to date on their vaccines and spay/neutering.
