About: Hi there! I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly can’t imagine life without them. I’ve personally raised and trained three of my own and love dogs of every breed, size, and personality. They’re welcome on the couch, the bed, and anywhere they’d normally relax at home. If your dog is crate trained, that’s totally fine too! About: I started dog-sitting for friends and family while moving around for school and fell in love with it, so decided to now expand! If you have any questions please let me know! I have taken care of pets my whole life (my own and others). I have two of my own dogs currently — at 70 lb Shepherd x Dalmatian and a 25 lb Jack Russel x Aussie, both of which can get rowdy so I am no stranger to high energy pets! I am happy to help work on basic commands and will make sure your pet gets plenty of physical and mental exercise! I am a graduate student so my schedule is very flexible when it comes to checking in on pets and I typically like to spend >1 hour with them a day. I can provide medications and/or any specific care that your dog might require. I am a graduate student and my schedule can be flexible! For boarding— my own dogs wake me up at 6 am to eat and then often like to go outside around 8 after some more snoozing. As a student I can be gone from 9-5 occasionally, but more often it is 11-4 or something similar. On average I am gone between 4-8 hours at a time depending on my schedule. During the day we usually play and I give them different enrichment toys. When I am home I let the dogs out frequently to romp in the yard! Dinner is around 5 and then usually a calm evening. My weekends I am usually home for the entire day. For at home visits or walks— I am happy to fit your pets needs into my schedule! I can offer up to 3 visits per day and can spend various amounts of time with your pet based on their needs. For boarding—I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play. I have two dogs who are friendly (albeit loud) and would love to run around with your dog! I do have a crate in the house for your dog if needed. When I am gone my own dogs are closed in my bedroom and I would likely close your pet(s) in a separate room as well— your pet does not need to be crate trained if they are non destructive! Because I do have pets of my own any boarded dogs need to be dog and cat friendly. For home visits and walks— I am slow to introduce myself with each visit to make sure your pet is comfortable with me in their home as it can be stressful!! I typically sit with pets before immediately going for the leash to make sure they feel safe. I am happy to spend time with your pets beyond walking/feeding! In am able to stay for longer periods of time in the evenings to play or sit and just spend time with them. I am comfortable with reactive dogs and will prioritize your pets comfort.

About: I'm 50 years old, and have mostly owned pit bull breed dogs, but I love all breeds. From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. Boarding: I would love to open our home to your precious babies. Non smoking, fenced in yard, lots of walks in my small town. My dog friendly pup can't wait to play tag around the dining room table. All pets are welcome on the couches and have full access to the entire 1st floor, including the bed in the spare room. My husband and I work different shifts, so someone is usually always home. A maximum of 3 to 4 hours of an occasional overlap in shifts. I am able to crate your pet if preferred, or close off access to half of the living space. I have driven to the far side of Texas, Arkansas, Canadian US boarder, Florida, Ocean side of Virginia and everything in between to rescue Giants from all walks of life and age. At the moment I have 4 St. Bernards, 2 Great Danes, a Mastiff and a Terrior Mix; all brought into my home at different times, at random ages and health; today I have a conducive healthy pack whom are open fed without issue. I have children from newborns to the elderly visit or stay without issue. I homeschool my 3 children. Hourly checks made on food supply available, washing and filling water dishes with clean fresh water. Fenced in dog play ground including tunnels, obstacles, shade and lots of sun! Each year we expand our dog park (1/4 of my yard completely fenced in from 3 access points including 2 walk out points from the house) boundaries and/or obstacles with the intent to keep our 4 leg family members safe, healthy, and happy.

I am inspired but the difference needs and desires of a pet and I love a challenge of gaining there patients and trust I have a smaller fenced in area in my yard for animals who just like to be outside I also have several different types of leashes if dogs want to walk and just get the energy out. I have cages if dogs need to be confined when eating or napping or just in general I also have puppy pads and cleaner for any animals who has accidents or just needs the extra support

I am grade school teacher, so I have open availability during June and July. Other months, I will not have as much flexibility if your pet requires more frequent visits. I'm able to come to your home while you're away! Whether you're working extra long hours or away on vacation, I can watch your pets when you are gone from home. I only watch pets in their home environments. This is less stressful/traumatic on pets, than a kennel stay. Also, your pet will avoid getting diseases from the other animals at kennel. About: I own several animals which include cats, dogs, and a leopard gecko. I love animals, and I am good with feeding on time, bathroom breaks on time, and I love to spend quality time with animals! I am good with puppy and kitten care as well. I am a house cleaner as well, so it tends to mix in with the pet care. I am consistently taking care of myself, my house, and my animals. I walk my dog every day, I feed all of my animals at the same time every day, I keep regular vet appointments, and all of my animals are up to date on their vaccines and spay/neutering.
About: Giants are my passion! I have driven to the far side of Texas, Arkansas, Canadian US boarder, Florida, Ocean side of Virginia and everything in between to rescue Giants from all walks of life and age. At the moment I have 4 St. Bernards, 2 Great Danes, a Mastiff and a Terrior Mix; all brought into my home at different times, at random ages and health; today I have a conducive healthy pack whom are open fed without issue. I have children from newborns to the elderly visit or stay without issue. I homeschool my 3 children. Hourly checks made on food supply available, washing and filling water dishes with clean fresh water. Fenced in dog play ground including tunnels, obstacles, shade and lots of sun! Each year we expand our dog park (1/4 of my yard completely fenced in from 3 access points including 2 walk out points from the house) boundaries and/or obstacles with the intent to keep our 4 leg family members safe, healthy, and happy.

Pet care fits into my daily routine as I am currently studying Wildlife Biology and minoring in Aquatic Science at Purdue University. About: I started dog-sitting for friends and family while moving around for school and fell in love with it, so decided to now expand! I have experience with a disabled/mobility impaired dog and young puppies in training - and am always happy to continue promoting any training and goals set for your fur-babies. I work in healthcare full time through week days with odd hours, however always with a lunch break to split long-shift days. I also always have help with my boyfriend who has lenient hours during his masters degree at Purdue. He is able to be home any hours I am unable and vice versa to allow for pet care to owners preference. I have a pet-friendly apartment with a small open space and plenty of grass within the complex, along with a fenced-in dog park as well. I am able to crate as needed. If dog-sitting at a client’s, I always aim to follow their routine as able and treat the home with respect.

“This was our dogs' first stay with anyone new. They were both anxious & kept peeing & pooping in Surama's home because of it, even though she was taking them out very often. Surama was very patient with them & made their stay a good one regardless. We didn't anticipate this issue & felt terrible about her having to deal with cleaning so many messes. I appreciated that she was open & honest about what was happening, while assuring me it was fine & in no way causing us to feel worse about it. If you have any questions please let me know! I have taken care of pets my whole life (my own and others). I have two of my own dogs currently — at 70 lb Shepherd x Dalmatian and a 25 lb Jack Russel x Aussie, both of which can get rowdy so I am no stranger to high energy pets! I am happy to help work on basic commands and will make sure your pet gets plenty of physical and mental exercise! I am a graduate student so my schedule is very flexible when it comes to checking in on pets and I typically like to spend >1 hour with them a day. I can provide medications and/or any specific care that your dog might require. I am a graduate student and my schedule can be flexible! For boarding— my own dogs wake me up at 6 am to eat and then often like to go outside around 8 after some more snoozing. As a student I can be gone from 9-5 occasionally, but more often it is 11-4 or something similar. On average I am gone between 4-8 hours at a time depending on my schedule. During the day we usually play and I give them different enrichment toys. When I am home I let the dogs out frequently to romp in the yard! Dinner is around 5 and then usually a calm evening. My weekends I am usually home for the entire day. For at home visits or walks— I am happy to fit your pets needs into my schedule! I can offer up to 3 visits per day and can spend various amounts of time with your pet based on their needs. For boarding—I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play. I have two dogs who are friendly (albeit loud) and would love to run around with your dog! I do have a crate in the house for your dog if needed. When I am gone my own dogs are closed in my bedroom and I would likely close your pet(s) in a separate room as well— your pet does not need to be crate trained if they are non destructive! Because I do have pets of my own any boarded dogs need to be dog and cat friendly. For home visits and walks— I am slow to introduce myself with each visit to make sure your pet is comfortable with me in their home as it can be stressful!! I typically sit with pets before immediately going for the leash to make sure they feel safe. I am happy to spend time with your pets beyond walking/feeding! In am able to stay for longer periods of time in the evenings to play or sit and just spend time with them. I am comfortable with reactive dogs and will prioritize your pets comfort.

About: I have taken care of dogs since middle school. I love dogs and have two on my own - a Dalmatian and a Basset Hound. My family is very active and we walk the doggies daily! About: I have taken care of my parents senior dog in my home while they were out of town. Helped a former coworker with her dog, also in my home, while she was out of town. I have helped a friend of mine with their senior dog + 4 cats in their home as drop in visits while they were out of town. Since starting Rover, I have had multiple in home stays with dogs, and homes that have both dogs and cats. I work full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. My morning routine includes leaving the house by 7:00 AM to take my child to daycare or school. Before departing, all pets in my care are taken outside, fed, and provided with any necessary medications. Depending on the proximity of your home, I may be available to stop by during my lunch break to check on and care for your pet. After work, I pick up my child from daycare and can typically arrive at your home around 5:00 PM. Upon arrival, dogs will be taken outside promptly and fed as needed. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss specific care needs or scheduling. I care for pets with the same level of attention and compassion as I do my own. I follow each pet’s individual feeding schedule, ensure they always have access to fresh water, and administer any required medications as directed. Dogs are taken outside regularly for bathroom breaks and exercise, and I make time to play and engage with them to keep them happy and active. For cats, I maintain clean litter boxes in addition to providing consistent feeding, fresh water, and attentive care. I also enjoy offering treats when permitted; my daughter especially loves helping to give treats, making it a fun and positive experience for your pet.
