About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve loved being around and tending to animals since I was a little girl. I had dogs and cats my whole life (except for right now) and have loved learning to meet their needs! I am a part-time social worker at a local non-profit organization. I am also beginning online grad school to become a therapist. With both of these commitments, I primarily work from home. My weeks are pretty flexible! About: I have a huge passion for animals, as I’m an animal sciences major at Purdue (with the goals of pursuing veterinary school)! I’ve worked with cats, dogs, exotics, zoo animals, pigs, cows, horses, the works! I’ve recently lost my only dog of 15 years, and this experience was very hard on me and my mental health. Therefore, I joined Rover as a dog walker and house-sitter to try something new and bring that same passion for others and their pets! I also worked/volunteered at a local shelter for years. working with puppies. old, big, little and traumatized dogs. I can run with those that want to. Additionally, I’m good at fetch and tug-of-war. I have commercial auto insurance coverage for your pet in my care. And I have uploaded a copy of my PetCare Insurance in my photos that covers potential incidents in your home, my home and in the park. I’ve given medication’s. I will follow your instructions to the letter and I don’t have an opinion. I have a lot of free time while I’m working on a book and don’t really need the money. I just would love the experience. I think the most important part is safety. PetCare Insurance for the unforeseen, but vigilance eliminates a lot of that. Pets are often curious and you need to make sure they’re not getting into harms way. When I take your dog for a walk, I won’t be on my phone because you need to be on the lookout for potential danger. I can take your dog to the park, around the neighborhood, for a drive or just stand in the yard. It’s all up to you. I will follow your instructions without opinion.

About: Ever since I was a little girl we have always had a dog in the house so, when I turned 18 I adopted one of my own but after 16 1/2 years of loving her, I had to say good bye. Thus, sparked my motivation to help others care for and love their pet(s) when they’re in need. I have experience with puppys, potty training, leash & clicker training among other things! I love to execute play time and know the importance of expending energy. The dogs I have trained are very well mannered and learn to behave well around people and other pets & listen to commands. About: I'm 50 years old, and have mostly owned pit bull breed dogs, but I love all breeds. From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. Boarding: I would love to open our home to your precious babies. Non smoking, fenced in yard, lots of walks in my small town. My dog friendly pup can't wait to play tag around the dining room table. All pets are welcome on the couches and have full access to the entire 1st floor, including the bed in the spare room. My husband and I work different shifts, so someone is usually always home. A maximum of 3 to 4 hours of an occasional overlap in shifts. I am able to crate your pet if preferred, or close off access to half of the living space. Before boarding, a few meet and greets are necessary. More details as we move forward. Cats: I will help with your cats, spending time, play, feed, clean litter boxes. I also have several years of experience with birds. I know how important socializing is to birds, and leaving them alone can cause problems and stress. Boarding of cats and birds can be discussed. I only watch pets in their home environments. This is less stressful/traumatic on pets, than a kennel stay. Also, your pet will avoid getting diseases from the other animals at kennel. I don't charge per pet or per size fees either!
About: I have experience with a variety of breeds of dogs. I have owned dogs that are super high maintenance, dogs that love to lounge, anxiety ridden dogs, and dogs that are on the spicy side. I understand the different cues of dogs and how to read their body language. I have experience in walking multiple dogs. I also have experience in training dogs. I trained my Shetland Sheepdog for 4H and we made it to the state fair. I also taught him many silly tricks. I can be a professional fetch player or a professional cuddler, whichever your dog prefers. I can also just be a treat giver if your dog prefers space. I am currently working part time as a server, but my schedule is very flexible. I am a recently graduated college student, with the hopes of going to graduate school in the coming semester. Animal trust is very important to me. It is important that I earn you and your animals trust, and we can grow to be best friends or acquaintances if your animal is not into that. I hope to make your time away from your animal as easy as possible.

About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals from a very young age. I’ve always thought that I liked spending time with animals more than people. And have always had a love for them. :) I work a part-time job that feels full time but that’s because I work with the public, however I’m trying to switch to something more flexible. Evenings work best for me but knowing ahead of time I can do mornings too. My cats have free roam as it’s equally their house, however I can put them away. If it’s your home I can do whatever is asked for me. For outside I have a lot of land but it’s open.

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve loved being around and tending to animals since I was a little girl. I had dogs and cats my whole life (except for right now) and have loved learning to meet their needs! I am a part-time social worker at a local non-profit organization. I am also beginning online grad school to become a therapist. With both of these commitments, I primarily work from home. My weeks are pretty flexible! I live in a home with a fenced backyard and room for pets to play and be active! I currently have no permanent pets here. I am eager to travel to homes to provide company, activity, and care to pets!

About: I have a huge passion for animals, as I’m an animal sciences major at Purdue (with the goals of pursuing veterinary school)! I’ve worked with cats, dogs, exotics, zoo animals, pigs, cows, horses, the works! I’ve recently lost my only dog of 15 years, and this experience was very hard on me and my mental health. Therefore, I joined Rover as a dog walker and house-sitter to try something new and bring that same passion for others and their pets! About: I have taken care of my parents senior dog in my home while they were out of town. Helped a former coworker with her dog, also in my home, while she was out of town. I have helped a friend of mine with their senior dog + 4 cats in their home as drop in visits while they were out of town. Since starting Rover, I have had multiple in home stays with dogs, and homes that have both dogs and cats. I work full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. My morning routine includes leaving the house by 7:00 AM to take my child to daycare or school. Before departing, all pets in my care are taken outside, fed, and provided with any necessary medications. Depending on the proximity of your home, I may be available to stop by during my lunch break to check on and care for your pet. After work, I pick up my child from daycare and can typically arrive at your home around 5:00 PM. Upon arrival, dogs will be taken outside promptly and fed as needed. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss specific care needs or scheduling. I care for pets with the same level of attention and compassion as I do my own. I follow each pet’s individual feeding schedule, ensure they always have access to fresh water, and administer any required medications as directed. Dogs are taken outside regularly for bathroom breaks and exercise, and I make time to play and engage with them to keep them happy and active. For cats, I maintain clean litter boxes in addition to providing consistent feeding, fresh water, and attentive care. I also enjoy offering treats when permitted; my daughter especially loves helping to give treats, making it a fun and positive experience for your pet.
About: I have taken care of dogs since middle school. I love dogs and have two on my own - a Dalmatian and a Basset Hound. My family is very active and we walk the doggies daily! My job is very flexible and I have a lot of extra time during the day to spend time with the doggies! I have had dogs all my life! I love dogs and I spend a lot of time outdoors with the doggies! About: I have had animals all of my life and have cared for them immensely. My family and friends say I have a special way with animals. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for almost 2 years and got lots of experience caring for dogs there as well as opportunities to sit outside of it which has become a huge part of my life. About: Hello! I have been a dog sitter and cat sitter for over a couple years now. I have open days in my calendar due to less work obligations. Looking to fill the time and help out while I can! I am flexible to check on your pet throughout the day. I have a more than flexible work schedule and have the transportation needed to do so. I live on the fourth floor in an apartment building. I am in close proximity to multiple dog parks and walking trails. The area is very safe with many other neighbors having pets as well.
