About: I have had the opportunity to take care of all types of animals over the years. I began pet/housesitting in my teenage years, have helped many family members and owned several wonderful cats and dogs myself! I would love the opportunity to help your pet not be so lonely on longer days! I have been working for a private practice (eye doctor) for nearly 10 years. They offer me flexible hours with long lunch breaks from 11am-1pm as well as 3 days off per week. I will not be able to host pets in my home as my dog doesn’t play well with others sadly. He is our guard dog and takes his job very seriously!
About: I grew up in a house that always had 2-4 large dogs at any given time. I often took care of them including walks and grooming, and did the same for neighborhood friends and family members as soon as I could ride a bike. In the past few years, I've also spent a lot of time around and caring for cats. As a graduate student, I currently have evenings free to drop in on pets when you're having a long day! About: I have cared for multiple kinds of pets including dogs, cats, reptiles, guinea pigs, etc. I have worked at two veterinary clinics as well as a pet store. I know the importance of animal care and will ensure that any animal in my care is treated right. I am currently working part time at Aldi in Lafayette and taking classes. About: I have had animals all of my life and have cared for them immensely. My family and friends say I have a special way with animals. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for almost 2 years and got lots of experience caring for dogs there as well as opportunities to sit outside of it which has become a huge part of my life. About: I’ve always known l’d go into animal care ever since I was young! I’ve worked at several different zoos so l’m specialized in exotics, but l’ve grown up with dogs and have a cat of my own, so l love petsitting for these guys just as much! sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
